I installed the NISMO catback exhaust on my Titan. Loved the look, loved the sound, it was exactly what I wanted.... until I drove with it on the highway and especially until I tried towing my trailer with it. The DRONE, OMG. It was unbearable, it gave me a pounding headache. I tried added an H-Pipe, then an X-Pipe, then adding additional resonators. Each of these helped a little bit, but nothing got rid of the drone. I think I did everything possible to try and keep this exhaust because I loved it so much, but if you drive a lot of highway and especially if you tow, I would recommend looking at a different option.
I recently installed this cat back on my 2023 titan pro4x sounds great but I'm hearing chirping and squeaking and I re tightened everything and it's still there seems to happen when the truck gets warmed up also when I give it gas while driving. I don't hear anything when I shake it around it's driving me crazy ....Any
When installing the system, I would start from the front to the back tightening the collectors and working your way back. If that it tight, I would take a look at the rubber exhaust hangers, those can also get dry and squeak. I would try some white lithium grease spray. Also, check the clearance around the exhaust, under load it could be rubbing on something as well. Hope this helps.
Indo, we are referencing all measurements of power on a chassis dyno (at the wheel hp) rather than an engine dyno (crank hp) like auto manufacturers market with. This kind of drive-train loss is typical.
Have you guys towed anything with this exhaust? I want it, but I drag my travel trailer occasionally and I'm curious about what it'd sound like on a loaded cruise. I can't have it super noisy in the cabin for that use case, while I welcome the noise when I burn extra dinosaurs driving by myself :)
How does it compare to the Magnaflow cat back? I have the Magnaflow which does sound good but I don't like the CIs that is noticeable with these engines
A lot and growing the catalog daily. We recently launched the brand new for 2020 Frontier Nismo exhaust. www.z1offroad.com/exhaust/nismo/nismo-05-20-nissan-frontier-catback-exhaust-system-p-19606.html
Hi Kenny, We offer these here www.z1offroad.com/exhaust/nismo/nismo-16-nissan-titan-tune-cat-back-exhaust-system-p-18360.html and the XD gas version here www.z1offroad.com/exhaust/nismo/nismo-16-nissan-titan-xd-gas-tune-cat-back-exhaust-system-p-18361.html
Will this fit a 2020 Titan platinum? Also can you guy make a better 6 inch lift kit for the Titan. Right now all I see is a rough country and that’s not going to cut it. Thanks 🙏🏾
Depends on the application Gen I exhaust is on sale a little over $900 currently www.z1offroad.com/exhaust/nismo/nismo-04-15-nissan-titan-cat-back-performance-exhaust-system-p-13636.html Gen II Titan Nismo Exhaust is a little over $1,370. www.z1offroad.com/exhaust/nismo/nismo-16-nissan-titan-tune-cat-back-exhaust-system-p-18360.html
I wanted a Nismo in the worse way and when I finally got the cash together to buy it what happens? It’s not available because the company is reorganizing…uggh.
Hey Jeff thanks for the feedback, although we're not sure what issues you may have seen. This exhaust was released less than a year ago and we haven't had any reports of cracking. In our many years of working with NISMO exhausts, we haven't seen a single one crack at the welds.

I just picked up my '23 Pro4X with this exhaust added. Sounds great.
Need more clips of how it sounds. Startup sound, how does it sound in the cab driving around town and cruising on the highway?
Agreed, I have officially put in the request via Facebook messenger.
Yes please get some more clips
Hi - How much did this increase straight line performance? Was it able to get it into the low 6 range on the 0-60 mph
pull?

Am I missing something here? I thought these come with 400HP off the showroom floor. Why is it only 328HP after the exhaust install?

@@z1off-road Gotch ya, thanks for the clarification!
It’s 400 413 on premium fuel
@@z1off-road it should do more than 328 to the wheels stock

Curious about weight savings if any over stock. Power is great but power and a few lbs shed is even better as it increases payload a tad
Great point, next time we have both off of a truck we will try to get this info.
@@z1off-road thanks!
Anything on the weight yet?
Will this fit a 2021 pro 4x?

Chrome? Why not black?
Do you need to do any to the truck after installing the exhaust
No, this is running on a completely stock truck just fine.
@@z1off-road Do you recommend a cold air intake to go with it?
2019 Nissan frontier what you got for me?

Now if it only had black tips and not chrome
You can get black tips - they offer both.
Not sure where they got that from but I cannot find a nismo catback for my 2020 Pro4X. I had one on my 2012 SL Titan.

No, it's really nice.

Yes, this is installed on a 2020 in the video. I'll talk to the team on the lift.
@@z1off-road yes! I just brought a new 2023 pro-x I need a exhaust installed and a lift. Can you help?
No actual increase just hp and torque come on earlier. Actual increase comes from tune software or internal engine parts
Great video.
What do you charge for Dyno time?
Rough details on that here www.z1offroad.com/Dyno.php
would this work on 2019 PRO 4X Crew Cab
Yes, as long as it's a gasser. We have options for both XD and non-XD Versions.
Is this available for a 21 xd?
currently still available for the XD gasser www.z1offroad.com/nfs/nismo/nismo-16-nissan-titan-xd-gas-tune-cat-back-exhaust-system-p-18361.html
Is that +26 hp at the crank pr at the wheel?
That is measured at the rear wheels.
@@z1off-road but why it says 11 HP and 8.0 lb-ft increase at the rear wheels, under the product info. web link provided by you.
How much. I know nismo is pricey?
its like 1100 last i looked

That much power with exhaust only???? Come on you guys threw a tune in there didn’t you? Lol
not yet, it's a 2020 so it wasn't supported for tuning. We'll definitely cover that when it happens.

Should be black
Overpriced catback known for cracked welds. The JBA catback and a set of Cajun Bpipes is much better and a lot cheaper in the wallet.
