All three of the starters have awesome middle evolutions. I think a trainer in this region would be happy no matter what they got.
Besides Charger evolving into Brazien, team hasn't changed...Brazien, Corvidie, Cyrocks, Serasurf. Still looking for the right two Pokemon to fill the remaining two main slots while rotating in a few other new Solympian Pokemon.
As soon as the weird guy with the star motif and the afro came on to the screen I immediately started screaming and jumping with joy yelling " GRUNTY BOI DAT YOUUUU!???!??"

Birdy evolves into a Heronin, with beat the cyrocks, spike the hyphopper, sleep the snoze, and gogo the gogopher, and still have that werid capon rocky the sneeble, and houndour
1:23 So Twiguana evolves into the Grass/Rock type Iguanagoon, retaining Chlorophyll as their hidden ability, and becoming more of a physical attacker with a bit more physical bulk than special bulk. I find it interesting that the stone on Iguanagoon's head plus the claws on their front limbs are made of diamonds. It's an okay middle stage evolution. I'm looking forward to seeing Iguanagoon evolve.
2:00 So Embull evolves into the Fire/Ground type Brazien, retaining Sheer Force as its hidden ability, and becoming a physical attacker that's a bit faster than Igunanagoon(provided it doesn't have Chlorophyll activated). I like this middle stage evolution more than Igunanagoon. I'm looking forward to seeing Brazien evolve.
2:36 So Kinfisher evolves into Heronin, retaining both its Water/Flying typing as well as its hidden ability King's Blade. It is definitely a fast physical attacker with low defensive stats. I like this middle stage evolution more than Iguanagoon. However, I can't tell if I like Brazien more than Heronin, or if I like them equally. Regardless, I'm looking forward to seeing Heronin evolve.
-I'm still interested in learning about the Water starter's hidden ability King's Blade.

Also, I find it interesting that Pikachu evolve into Alolan Raichu in Solympia rather than Kantonian Raichu.
Tempest log 5: twiguana has evolved and moved on in life, now collecting small rocks, leaves and occasionally ripping the branches off trees, the habit though leaving the inventory filled with the stuff has benefitted temphin’s rudimentary legs, now with more comfortable control and temphin has significantly improved its leg work
Foulraptor thinks the coconut is some kind of toy and kicks it about, almost giving some wild Pokémon some trouble, eventually my whole team joins in playing a coconut ball game, in a surprise twist temphin won, somehow
Glad I picked Kinfisher; Heronin looks awesome! I hope the final evolution has a signature Water type sword/rapier move. Maybe "Tidal Thrust"?

The utter shock and glee I got by hearing Mikey from MandJTV was way more than I was expecting. All I could think was "Grunty Boi???"

Day 5 - "Ziggy" evolved into Iguanagoon and gained a secondary typing - and a really beneficial one, in my opinion. After trouncing Cass, I returned to Trickle Town, healed up at the Pokemon Center, grabbed some breakfast, then poked around Town for a while to see if there were any urban Pokemon I might have missed. Sure enough, after "Grizz" used Headbutt on a few trash cans, a wild Snoze appeared... YOU GOT IT! NEW POKEDEX DATA WILL BE ADDED FOR SNOZE. After a quick stop at the PokeMart to refill my bag with PokeBalls, Potions, and the like, I headed west to Route 2.
I didn't encounter any new Pokemon, but I had a few battles along the way and everyone on my team got stronger - "Toto" even evolved into Pikachu!

I love that you named it Heronin :D May just be a coincidence, but I've had a Kingfisher Pokemon that evolves into a Heron with that exact name for a few years - if the next evo is a FLYING/FIGHTING crane who knows crane style kung fu and it's called Cranin, then I'll know you were inspired by me :D

I like the fact that this isn't filled with as many new Pokemon, it gives us time to think about what we want for our teams next and what new Pokemon we might encounter along the way, also nice showing us what I believe was Solympian Vigoroth & Lapras. Once again, my teams hasn't changed much since last time, so the teams are:

Honestly the fire middle stage scares me considering the description.
The mud hardens to form its body... so wait when it evolved it grew so hot the back half of it melted and it had to replace its flesh with mud... Guessing that wasn’t the intention but that’s the thought that came to me and it’s horrific! Unless it turns into fire ghost in its final stage which would make sense as its body is consumed by the flames 🔥
“Looks at the coconut” huh…(mind- His coconut gun can fire in spurts!) Heh I wish but a man can dream.

Colchis: He has evolved! He is now a powerful Braizen! With his new form came a new sense of things. He has gained confidence and is less nervous about being around others. I notice that he actually lets them ride on his back some time, which is a massive improvement on his part. When not hanging out with the team or me, he spends his time looking for fresh mud he can swim in and cool down, often laying in one for an hour or more
Tox: he is the one mostly riding on Colchis, as he can't move very well himself. He returns the favor by letting him know if he finds any mud holes as they travel. Tox has started to reveal his personality more since Colchis changed, and now we all now how sharp his senses are. He was the first one to react when that strange tornado mon came about, making a strange sound a minute before it appears. If something happens, he'll know before anyone else
Slasher: when Colchis evolved, she thought it would be a good idea to let him in on her practice fights with Artifact, wanting her leader to be in his top form. After seeing how the other two watched, she invited them to join too. Thus she started the friendly tournaments our team loves to participate in
Artifact: She is still working on her battle strategies with Odin. She actually tested some when she practiced with Colchis after he evolved. Unfortunately for her, he had seen some of them before and, with his new ground typing, as well as learning Bulldoze, she was bested swiftly. Thankfully, she doesn't mind defeat and views it as a learning experience. And she is even more determined to get even stronger
Odin: Although quiet, he showed great joy when his best pal Colchis evolved. He also enjoys the tournaments that Slasher helped set up. He monitors everybody's fighting style, not only so he could best them in the battles, but also to be able to help in shuffles with other trainers. After everyone else went to sleep, a heard a small sound and saw what was but a few moments ago a living Rataroo, with Odin burying his beak in it. I went to bed, hoping to get the nauseating image out of my head.

Wow, all the starters are amazing! If this were a real game I would be definitely playing it multiple times picking a different starter and team each, glad I picked Twiguana though, Igunagoon is awesome!! Michael's character is also hilarious. From the silhouettes shown, it seems like Lapras, Togepi and something else I'm not sure of are getting regional variants, that'll be super exciting!

After talking to the Professor, I head out onto Route 2 and catch myself a Slackoth, as well as talk to that colorful person before heading into the forest!
While my favorite evolution is Heronin, I too was a birdkeeper in another life, Iguanagoon is looking to be a fantastic all-rounder stat and typing wise. I'm really looking forward to what my team will look like at the end of this adventure. =)
I like the idea of a Marvel Cinematic Universe between Pokémon Tempest and Pokémon Carnival. Hoops and Hiphop really knows his Pokémon.
Since you specifically meantion catching Snoze here, I'm moving it over slightly on my backup team to reflect it being added after Hyphopper.
I also figure Pichu will have evolved by now as long as I kept it in the back slot of my team. Since I also have six Pokemon on my main team by this point, I'd probably have to do some swapping between my team and the Pokemon Storage System to make it work, but I'm doing that anyway to make sure I evolve all the Pokemon that I can through leveling up.

Jay’s Twigwanna named Iggy evolves!
Jay marvels over the Pokemons new form and says that it reminds him of Groveile from the Hoenn Region! This Iguannagoon would even be able to stand on its hind legs to be more of an aglie battler like its previous form.
Very intrigued by the new evolution and the promise of regional variants, looking forward to next friday.

After returning to trickle town, I caught a snoze using Arthur’s headbutt as planned and named it floof, although as it was very underleveled I opted against using it in battle, having it instead just ride around on my head. Meanwhile, my other Pokémon are beginning to warm up to me, except for scraptor who I’ve pretty much forgotten. Twig, now an iguanagoon, is actually quite introverted, against the norms of his species, and prefers to curl up in my bag whenever possible. He also enjoys gnawing on rocks, which has caused some unwanted conflict with Arthur, who has swiftly become the stoic leader of the group. Spike sleeps most of the day, although he sleeps in his pokeball as opposed to ontop of my head, and Dusk is actually the most extroverted of the group, often very excitedly flying around before circling back. Norman is actually doing a lot of fighting recently, as if he’d been saving up energy for something coming soon… No new catches this route
Journey Notes: Kinfisher has evolved into Heronin which is a neat accomplishment. Met up with Cass, the Professor, and Lawrence and had a brief discussion on team snooze. Found some new pokemon and a strange man gave me a coconut. Don't know what to do with it, but I'll keep it.

I do miss the use of headbutt to find wild pokemon: it's probably the only HM people don't find annoying. Also, I noticed Mikey played a Miror B-like character, very nice!

Holy cow, Heronin already has a base speed of 113 and an ATK of 100?! That thing is gonna be a monster in its 3rd stage.

My adventure started today with my starter Scriggy evolving into an Iguanagoon. He looked super cool and I gave him a fist bump to congratulate him on getting stronger.
My rival and I later met with the professors as they told us where we should head next on our journeys.
After leaving them I went through some of the routes and met a very groovy guy who showed me that regional variants are a big thing here in Solympia as well. Upon learning this I exposed a Pikachu that I caught previously to a thunderstone to evolve it into an Alolan err I mean a Solympian Raichu. Jesse the Alolan Raichu has replaced the Go-Gopher I had on my team.

It took a while to level up and evolve Capon after having my own starter evolve to keep up with the overall level of my team. Speaking of which, I am satisfied with what my starter evolved into.
Pseftis has now evolved into a Iguanagoon, and Hops, my female Aerodent, and I celebrating his transformation. While we have gathered data on all of the available pokemon in the Solympia region thus far, I feel like handling these two is a task in and of itself, given their quirks.
Pseftis, as Serious as he is, only wants to battle, so I keep him in his pokeball.
Hops, who is a bit Timid, will wander off, gliding from tree to tree for a bit, before being frightened by the sound of a snapping twig underfoot, or some other small noise, and come hide either behind me, or in the rare case, inside her pokeball. Still, she's so full of energy that she rarely stays put, so keeping her inside her ball just doesn't work.
Sorry to be a bit behind on my watching, life has been hectic! But I'm so excited for my new Heronin and the adventure going forward! If we can get Alolan Raichu here in Solymbia, what other kind of mons can we get?! I can't wait to see them all~!

Lisa, Former Champion of the Kalos Region
(Her starter's evolution has made Lisa excited, though she's a little sad Allagi can't fit on her shoulder anymore. Even Cass's bad attitude can't keep her down! The meeting with the professors gives her some pause with Team Snooze, as she hadn't heard of them before. Are they really such a big threat if all they want to do is sleep? Rivalries are a bit strange to her, especially someone as brash as Cass. But Lisa's confident that she can beat her Rival in the race. As the morning starts she heads out to the woods first thing in the morning, evolving Squeakers while getting at the same level as her team. The strange man at the well is a little odd, but she's happy to talk to him for a bit and learn more about Squeaker's evolution route. The...coconut is a bit odd, but she takes it with a smile anyways. Next time she head's through the forest and her next adventure!)

My Kinfisher just evolved into the actual love of my life, Heronin. I can't believe how good these second form starters look! I also caught a Snoze. I'm assuming Cyrocks learns headbutt naturally. I've also got a Hyphopper and of course, Corvidie, the Edgelord Pokemon. It's been really hard to choose my team because all of these fakemon are amazing. All that being said, HI MANDJTV!!

WOW! Aqua (kinfisher) evolved into heronin! SO COOL!
Finally got that Snoze to go with my Corvidie, Cyrock, Pikachu (it evolves pretty quickly if ya treat Pichu well enough; so I figured it'd only make sense for it to evolve now), Houndour, and the Kinfisher evo; Heronin.
Time for some evolutions, let's go! Interesting continuation, definitely could have used some more. Don't agree with some things that happened so far, but still excited to see what's to come.

Twiguana evolved shortly after our battle with Cass! An Iguanagoon! It has gained the rock type so I'm curious how I can very my strategies now.
Professor Dodona ended up catching Cass and I and guided us back to Professor Lawrence. We discussed Moxie, the odd Team Snooze, and locations of where I may find another gym coin. Professor Lawrence in particular seemed to be trying to spur my competitive side pointing out I am behind Cass in terms of Gym victories. Admittedly, I think it worked... I want to take my time in this region and explore so having to balance that with keeping up with Cass is going to be hectic! Drat!
Making my way through Route 2, I encountered a peculiar individual. Kind just odd... Ended up gifting me a coconut? Perhaps it's a cultural thing so I'd be foolish to toss it away. So I placed it in my travel bag and went on way. Next up, the Elderwoods Forest.
(First off I LOVE the designs of these second stage starter evolutions. Second as a bit of advice Toby would you PLEASE be careful with how you place your words in future videos since I've spent the a few videos using a Snoze on my team, when it's a pokemon I couldn't obtain at that point in the story)
I watched my starter evolved into Heronin I couldn't help but let out a cheer of excitement... only for Cass to ruin it with her declaration of throwing me into the sea but before I could say anything the professor arrived. After the four of us discussed our current conditions with Cass currently in the lead of our rivalry I felt a rush of determination to challenge the next gym leader as quickly as possible... but I knew my team needed a break... and a rearranging with all of the flying types my team currently consisted of.
When I awoke I made my way outside to capture a Snoze and add the adorable sleepyhead to the team. I then encounter the stranger wearing star-covered stranger as he starts to talk to me and gives me a coconut? I can't put my finger on it but I feel like it could be needed at some point so I make sure to hold onto it.
And so the journey continues...

I decided to use Brazien's headbutt to knock a Snoze down from a tree so I could catch it. As cool as it'd be to have a Solympian/Alolan Raichu, I felt this was the way to go. Also I'm pretty sure that Coconut will be an evolutionary tool later on, I just don't know for who.
So... We have a Miror B of this region that is voiced by Mikey? That is amazing

My Embull evolved into Brazien, after battling my rival. In Elderwoods Forest, I taught my starter Headbutt, so that I could catch Snoze at Triquil Town. Going deeper into the forest, my Pichu evolved into Pikachu. I then meet a colorfully dressed man, who talks to me about Solempian Raichu. Or, rather Alolan Raichu. He then hands me some Pokéballs, a malasada, and a Coconut?

New pokemon this episode is Ratoroo on route 2. This is a full team of 6 so next capture in the forest is going to make things interesting.
Heronin is the perfect new form for Sparke, she reminds me of the heron that lives by the river in my hometown, and her beak aided swordplay is the perfect balance of chivalry and style - I love it!

Episode 5, my starter Aquarius has evolved into Heronin. Which I'm so happy with. After talking to the professor I go to route 2 and meet this weird-dressed guy, I was gonna leave him but his voice sounds really interesting.
Before I continue I take a break and have lunch with my pokemon. Aquarius the Heronin, Gemini the Katoroo, Pisces the Searsurf, and Virgo my Go-gopher

Anyways we head of to the Route 2 where Vesta takes it upon herself to protect us from the wild pokemon, resulting in her catching up with Celes and Mala in terms of experience. Celes thinks that the coconut Grunty boy gave us is a fun little fidget toy, so I let her have it. I notice Vesta used his pants as a chew toy but I don't say anything since it's better for her to chew that than hurt her teeth on the coconut once Celes gets bored of it.
