The geometric easy way would be marking -3” in rear, mark relief line in front, snap line, between two markings, and whala, angle achieved… no template needed cut metal and fit up should be spot-on.
Next video ill be diving into my solution for a tailgate...but im always looking for a factory CJ gate to use on a project! If you have instagram, reach out to me on there and we can talk about that tail gate! @hunkuhjunk
Hey thanks man, I'm running .030 Lincoln SuperArc. My Miller runs real good on it. As far as settings, everyone is slightly different. Grab some scrap sheet metal and start playing with your machine until you find what works for your style!
I love my motobilt back half kit. The install was pretty straight forward. The reason I installed it was due to stretching the rear axle back that far, gaining some up travel and making room for the air shocks to pass the frame without notching it! It was a win in my book!
Thanks Alex. Huge fan of your jeep! and as far as rear steer... anything is possible. With the motobilt frame you would have to limit the rear ram significantly to keep the tires out of the frame id imagine. Next time im at Codys ill measure my frame width in the rear compared to the front.
This might sound weird, but watching the heat transfer of the spot weld in slow mo was a trip

Looking great! Just curious of how you like that motobilt rear half kit? Did you put it on due to rust or another reason?

Looks dope man! I’m thinking on doing something like that to my TJ And was wondering with your motobilt frame if you think it would clear rear steer?
