We had that happen tilted to the auger side. Couldn't even get a wagon under the auger. Parked the combine with the cart auger in front of the feeder house, set the sieve and chaffer straight up and down and slowly augered it back into the combine, didn't spill too terribly much.
I know it’s a lot of money to do it. But there is NOTHING better than tracks on a grain cart. We can drag 60-70k through our much and the compaction relief is so much better. We went from a 2010 unverferth 950 on 1000s to a 2005 1050 kinze with tracks and 12inch side boards. Can hold about 1300 bushel if we pack it full and can go more places with it. Just need a lot more tractor to pull it
Am an old Minnesota boy it fun to watch the harvest. Wish I was still up there on the dairy but that was many years ago. Just visit every now and then and usually not in the winter. Lol
Old enough to to know I've got a lot more behind me than in front of me left in this world. Old enough that I've probably made every mistake a person could make in life and old enough to know better than to make it again. Old enough to know you may think you know some one but never really do. Old enough to know a secret isn't a secret if two people know it. Old enough to know what I use to do all day now takes me all day to do. Old enough that you don't have enough finger on both hands to count all the presidents I've been alive thru. Old enough that our families first phone in the house had a crank on it and no numbers to dial. So old the first tractor I sat behind was with my grandfather and had just two horse power, eight legs and didn't go over about 3 miles per hour at full tilt. You may figure out about what my age is. I don't give any personal information directly out just hints.
wow, you guys really have it rough there with all of or most of your equipment breaking down, makes a really interesting video you all still do a great job
Hi Chet. You speak of frost but I understand it to be ice, is it the same? Also is it not unusual for you to be trying to harvest so late in the season that you’re faced with winter weather challenges, and if so is it climate change related? Enjoy and appreciate your videos.
Grain carts with the monster truck tire do much better in mid and soft ground . Those carts can be converted though it goes raise the highth of the cart unless you install drop axles then the highth will remain the same but your overall width will increase.
Don't hook to that flimsy tank frame. Just run the chain back to the drawbar. If your tractor had been down that would have been hard but in this case it would have been 100% safe and dead simple.
wow we thought we were the only ones do stupid things but when the blanket of snow came and everything when down from there 2019 harvest was finished this year for us we will deal with each problem when we get to them at the president time we are taking our equipment out of the field and taking it to the main farm that has all the shops and the wash bays month maybe before we get to the stuck they are very good to my, animal to most of everything i all keep as pets will have to be fixed no baby making on the farm id miss the porcupine does not get too far found the yard when i found him he had his foot caught in a trap it works but like to show off and proteins it still hurting play it to a tee had 8 skunks added 7 more of the skunks the mommy was hurt very badly and came with 6 baby skunks she not going to leave the farm i know this to she did build a home in the old horse barn with the other animals she and all of the baby were fixed and had all there shot to live here tulip-like to run the skunk show here she the queen of the skunks she and exlarger stink box she overweight by 4 skunks she is a hand full to, she from town much more suitable for her stomach size and McDonald's she know when it is and the vets to she does need a ride home too she gets a ride to town too but has not found a way back here she at one of the rental properties we one in the town to my step-parent are they right now had the storms out there and we moved them to town and it was very lucky we did the timber frame had significant structural damage to the frame within 4 weeks it was folded into each other i am homeless to now I have a tamper tailer i have moved out here to be with the animals we all have to adjust to our own new placed to live this year one of the new barns will when i sleep too but do supple honey for them to eat by the late afternoon the have the 4 sheets clean up with rolled honey
Nice grain carts, fatter tires for flotation or tracts I think is the ideal for as much as can be dine anyway in bad situations, not that anythinhs perfect in the real world, but thin tires to cut through easier then wider ones for sure not that its aleays the solution
Poor farmers its called a bad day everybody gets them at work just a thought u know ground could b soft maybe dont overload be on safe side n avoid prob by lighter more frequent dumps

All those lights reminded me of a scene in Close Encounters Of The Third Kind.
I do like how the combines had come over to put some light on it to see. That's nice.
Oh golly gee wilikers
Wow, ya got a lotta Green out there, Zack must love you guys. Seriously, great vid.
Glad you got it clear without too much trouble, it's weird watching combines work when it's -10°C.

I’m glad you guys are in the clear for now🤓👍🏻🇺🇸
Had to start watching from the beginning… love this content
9 times out of 10 the auger side falls in. I'd call this a win.
I hope you guys get all the crops in.

Love your channel just found it and just got done watching all your videos.
Lots of nice equipment out there
We done that twice this year on dryer ground no fun when you don't have a second cart. Go get the little wagons cause ours went down on the auger side
Just found your channel, Thumbs up, liked and *SUBSCRIBED*
Well done boys. So odd to see frost like that .in west wales uk just wet and very mild tonight
2019 harvest that slowly killing all of us with weird breakdowns and bad field conditions and low prices
I like your videos keep em coming!
That’s happened to our cart twice in a week, dang tires
That’s the good thing about track carts, good chance not to blowout. 4” of frost you would have thought you be okay. 🚜🚜🚜🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
It happens ! I’m surprised it came out as easy as it did .
New vid let’s go! Our family farms by long prairie MN

Très belle vidéo mon ami courage à vous
You're lucky to have the conditions you have, we have four inches of snow on top of mud with no frost.
It always takes a RED tractor to pull out the Green!! lol nice video

Why not set up the Combines and Tractors with proper tow points BEFORE YOU NEED THEM?
Why not set them up with proper tow points BEFORE THEY LEAVE THE FACTORY? John Deere are you here?
Great viedo I love these types of viedos......that sucks that the grain cart got stuck....how does that even happen.....😬
Grain carts with the monster truck tire do much better in mid and soft ground . Those carts can be converted though it goes raise the highth of the cart unless you install drop axles then the highth will remain the same but your overall width will increase.
Great video thanks again
Wow a small pond lol good job.
Planning on doing a video specifically on the S790?
Must be nice to have track carts now
If I was going to put tracks on one piece of equipment it would be those massive carts. They are just getting so heavy.
We always pulled backwards ! Pull em out the way they went in theirs alredy tracks .
The Quad track is such a beast compared to the deer on the auger wagon.
Unless I’m high and the Case didn’t have anything in it’s wagon.
Companies started making those huge grain carts and apparently aren't aware that the ground can get soft.
Great video in my opinion keep it up please!!
Great video as usual!! How many acres like to being finished and how many acres y’all tend in all? How far are you from Zach? Thanks for sharing
TEAM LARSON 💪💪💪💪💪👍👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
That was buried good. Have you updated to all rope straps with no chain?
Very interesting !
Carts above ground is always good, lol
Good video!
Keeps it interesting 😂
Never fun getting stuck
Was it to much of an angle to back in beside and stay parallel to unload it?
I'm a kid but I drive a s680 John Deere combine they're not going anywhere with me but I'm a bit confused about the whole situation 😬 it's so funny

Wait, I'm confused. The last few videos I have watched you guys have ran 2 9870 and a cart with tracks. Upgrades????
One of the 9870 the hydro blew out
There has been some horrible horrible break downs.
Let there be lightttt

Oh tell
Who has a 1400 bushel grain cart without tracks.... asking to get stuck
Holy fork
Tracks on the tractor tracks on the combines but none on the carts..... doesn't take long for mud to find the weak Link in the chain.
You have only pitza cuters on your grain cart

Narrow ass tires on a big cart.

Fat tires or tracks
That's what I was thinking. Why would a grain cart ever have/need pizza cutter row crop tires?
They are tandems, so a little more distribution
