    Please keep doing what you do, Ghanaians must be educated in our own culture! It is the only way out of our current circumstance. I am an artist myself and I raise culture awareness through my arts in my own little way. Let's work hard towards this goal, Na Sankɔfa Yenkyiri ❤️

      Um.....this is the CLOSEST linguistic cadence to my people the Garifuna. Garifuna are Black and do not speak Ga but the cadence sounds so much like the Ga people. We are a coastal people. Our men traditionally are seamen. I wonder if the Ga ever set sail on the Atlantic in pre Columbian times and came to the Americas. WOW. We even make machuka in large wooden mortar and pestles to this day to serve with fish soup and coconut broth.

    Please correct your assertion.
    You have to say we came all the way from Egypt and not Ille Ife.
    Some of our elders must have the true account of where we came from.
    History must not be distorted.

    • @yenkassa
      @yenkassa  4 года назад +6

      Nii Ashettey the narrator has stated what he knows as the history of his people and placed them at Ile Ife which is a true account. If you can add to that then please do so with supporting data but don’t say his account is not true because you don’t find it as complete. Kindly add yours from Egypt to Ile Ife, we are happy to hear that also.

      The origin of the GA people I believe began when the Oba of Benin “Oba Uba Udagbedo” (1299AD-1334AD) extended his colonial rule to some parts of Ghana. The ethnic group in GA weee the early edos that settled in that part.

      Is crazy that our mentality is drifting. I'm Yoruba and have a Ga friend who's a loving jovial and friendly lady. The fact that she told me that Ga are from ILE IFE appeals to my spirit and feels great. This is not superiority things. Both Ga and the Present Ife people are equals if the story is true. It doesnt mean that you have to pay homemage to them. How on Earth will you leave those who look like you and claim ancestors all the way from Egypt who dont look like you. WE MUST STOP ALL THIS I-BETTER-THAN-THOU mentality. @Nii Ashettey thank you for your comment

      @@aghonelego2379 the Egyptians of today arent the same people of yesterday, the land has been conquered by many religions and invading nations. the Ga family is wide and far globally, do not limit the power and reach of the Ga and any of the the tribes of Isreal. of you seek knowledge research the original maps and other accounts of the African nations from other who observed our movements. there are Ga throughput the western world way before the invaders of the continent. if you live all your life in a box, you dont know you are in a box. just remember that.
