Photon (80's TV series) S1E15 “Space Terror”

I watched this show as a kid. This tied in with the "Photon" gear to compete with Laser Tag. (I always wanted the helmet). Sadly this was the only episode I taped. This show had some cool hard sci fi concepts, great model work and production design. Aired December 27, 1986.

Me and my boys would hang out eating candy and binging this show. We went so far as to call ourselves the Sweety Squad we became so routine with it.

I only learned of this series a few years ago. I remember the Photon game. I believe Wildwood NJ used to have a Photon course.. I remember the Laser Tag cartoon.
