  • I ask 67 questions to Google Engineer and AI researcher Joel Shor as we take a stroll through the Googleplex in Mountain View, California. Joel and I have been friends for a while and he gladly agreed to an interview. I ask him questions that range from his sleeping patterns to his deep learning library of choice (tensorflow)

      Joel is a walking contradiction in many ways. so am i actually. #beinghuman

    • @jose-rs
      @jose-rs 7 лет назад +7

      well, I consider myself an introvert, and I like to meet people as well; it's not that much of a contradiction when you realize that one thing is to meet people, like, one on one situations, and get to know them bit by bit, and other is to "need" them like an extrovert would

      +Jose Ramirez Introverted is a word, and that word has a definition like the one i showed you before The definition is the same everywhere, so when that definition change, we can restart this conversation.

    • @jose-rs
      @jose-rs 7 лет назад

      I just tried to say that introversion is not the same as shyness, I wasn't questioning the definition of the word per se; for instance, here (dle.rae.es/?id=M0KQqTt) it says that introversion has to do with having difficulties when socializing, but one thing is to have difficulties socializing, and other one is to be afraid of it, which is the definition of shyness (see dle.rae.es/?id=ZlaFuRl)

    Found your videos recently. I think they're very interesting, but I've had really bad experiences with programming courses at my university. In particular I am very fond of applied mathematics but not so fond of the strict notation and structure of software like C/C++. I dunno, probably never going into programming but I can have an appreciation for the kind of work computer scientists/software engineers do I guess.

      Actually, i am a same type of person... Right now i talk less and people call me introvert which i hate when people label me... LABEL FKING DATA NOT ME...... YOU CANT PREDICT ME... :) .... but matter of fact i love to meet people... but since i have different prespectives on life, it might sound weird to them or we dont blend quite well.. so i keep my mouth shout but if i meet such type.of.person we will have one hell of a good chat about life...
      SO i think we human love to interact ..we just need right people and we get less.
