  • I ask 67 questions to Dandelion Mane as we walk around Google HQ in Mountain View, California. Dandelion used to be my roommate and is now working on the Tensorflow team at Google. Specifically, he works on the visualizer called Tensorboard. I ask him a lot of rapid fire questions, some machine learning related and some about his life in general.

    That last question of "Have you built an app with machine learning that you use in your day-to-day life?", the "Nope" sounded a bit rushed.
    Perhaps the question should have had at the end: "... that you can talk about publicly?" LOL. :-D

    Does TensorFlow Lite allow the entire learning be done on the device?
    Or just the using of what was learned on the servers of Google?
    I also wonder how the new AI chips help in this. Do they allow the learning be done on the device?

      thanks, I jst checked my nvidia 720m gpu isn't there in the list of supported gpu's for CUDA.

      prakashyadav008 try installing open suse, you can do some parallel processing using cuda C for Nvidia gpu later you can use your code on tensorflow.

      i am using the cpu version for now on my ubuntu 16.04 machine since when i try to build tensorflow from source for the gpu version it always gave warnings and errors.
      and another question is that i am trying to use open ai ,do i need a gpu to create agents for open ai environments ?

    for the next 67, ask "what ide do you use with python?" I find debugging python rather primitive and far behind Visual Studio, Eclipse and Netbeans.
