High time for taking not only her topics seriously and get emotionel about it but also take Thunberg herself seriously as a wake up call. Do not let her stand up there alone - please help her - in order to save what is left to save of planet earth and to save it now. Together we can do it but we HAVE to act NOW !
This message will go down in history as one of the," greatest speeches of all time". Greta Thunberg told the truth as no one in that room ever has. To be told by such a young woman that the worlds greatest powers and leaders are wrong and that they know it, took exceptional courage. She essentially told them that they are all cowards and fools. Our time on this planet is up and it's now or never! The standing ovation by the very people she was speaking of is proof positive that everything she discussed is true and is happening now. Hopefully the humility results in big bold moves as soon as these leaders leave the room. Enough is enough. "We see through all of you lies" she said. A very wise and brave young woman. Bravo!

Summary of her talk: (1) We need to call this an emergency. (2) Most people don't know the basic facts about climate change. (3) Leaders (Presidents, politicians, CEOs, celebrities, journalists) have failed to properly inform the public about climate change. (4) This is the biggest crisis humanity has faced.
Save environment. Save your child from environment pollution. Wake up people. Take a action don't sleep. Save yourself save your parent save your next generation childhood.
The world really is in danger , Firstly island nations are sinking , secondly we have never had as many natural catastrophes , thirdly entire nations are suffering . Yet people with their arrogance deny the fact that the world lifespan is shortening and have become mindless creatures .
Unfortunately humanity's greed will be its downfall, the people in the highest earning positions of wealth and power are more interested in making more money then fixing the issues at hand....
See, the coronavirus crisis has been taken so seriously. Every news in the TV was only about that. But, in climate change nothing is ever mentioned. It has to be and people have to start taking action.
I cried watching this. I'm 13 years old and I've been protesting this for 2 years. I'm glad someone has gotten so much attention and does something good with it.
We needed this speech decades ago , it’s too late to save the entire world . As an Australian I’ve personally been effected by climate change and we need to do much more to help ourselves and each other in a selfless way . The media distracts us with minial issues and irrelevant concepts .
While agree that Putin is a very smart person, he is not right, nor are the people who put Greta and her parents down.Greta is extremely intelligent and passionate and just like in the very old days when a Master of a particular field of study or trade would apprentice a young child to make them a Master in that field, it's really the same type scenario.Greta's parents have done a wonderful job with her and she is a better person for it.You will see that anyone who has money or the ability to generate it at will, and on a massive scale will say and do anything to protect it and therefore Greta is a threat to their way of life.She is championing and leading the next generation to do what should have been done long ago and that is too stand up AGAINST the establishment.Money, greed and power is NOT the answer to the true path of humanity.Don't know if anyone believes in Aliens and UFO's but I have seen them with my own eyes and they exist..we ARE being watched and one day the real truth will make itself known, but it may take another WW3 to do just that.When humanity steps up in servitude of one another because it's the right thing to do and not to chase the almighty dollar, we will finally be where we are supposed to be in relation to the earth and its resources.There will be minimal waste and everything and anything will be calculated in the most efficient manner as to protect the world, it's resources and all of it's inhabitants.It starts with you taking personal inventory of oneself to truly understand what is truly important for the greater good and to discard one's own selfish needs.I will never try to manipulate money or people in order to gain an advantage over them.This is basic business practices and is without a doubt a terrible idea, because this creates a playing field of winners and losers.This is a recipe for disaster and that's exactly the thin line we walk everyday.This in turn causes strife, inequality, wars to be fought,suicides, depression, just about everything bad you can think of, like a ripple in the water that's spreads out amongst all of us.One action.. good or bad has a reaction and this is the law of nature that cannot be changed.So let's make this action be the best action it can possibly be with our knowledge and technology and most importantly our hearts..so that our souls remain intact and align with the supreme laws of the universe.The majority of people in this world are fighting everyday for table scraps just to barely survive while so many in power ignore the plight of the masses for a better way to live.We have solutions but the corporate entities refuse to listen and bring these solutions to the forefront where real change for the greater good can be implemented.Personally I'm so sick of all the empty promises from politicians and world leaders, can't anyone really see through all of their bullshit?It does not matter who is president for their strategy is to keep the people divided hence the democratic and republican party.If people came together then it would surely be us against the rich and powerful and they know this!This is why the police and military were created as a barrier or wall to protect the "Have's against the Have not's"! Wake up people don't be led around by these corporate entities who rob you of life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness everyday.
