I will start my Masters in Engineering this September in the UK as I want to change my career path. I want to develop an IT skills within next four months so that I can work in the IT field as a beginner level IT worker during my Masters study as a part-time employee. I'm already certified in 2 areas which you mentioned in this video: 1. PMP and 2. Scrum Master. Also I have experience of 2+ years as a Scrum Master and 3+ years in Project Management in IT. I was a software engineer prior to that (overall 8+ years of IT experience) and have a masters degree from a UK University full time, (but working in India). Do I qualify to get a PR? However, I think unfortunately most companies don't wish to try someone from other countries although they are authorised to sponsor. They're very narrow in inviting someone from overseas for an interview
try to apply for jobs here first. The employers will do the rest. PR is something which will fall in place . Once you start working its almost guranteed so dont wait. Good Luck !!

Certifications don't give you working knowledge. Actual job gets you the knowledge that you need. Imagine you have the certification but lack in implementation experience, the certification is worthless. Certifications would only add and boost your profile shortlist by recruiters IF you have the related work experience. Product Owner certification is nothing but attending 2 days of theory and you have the certificate without any exam. What can you learn in these 2 days? In all the interviews they ask scenario based questions. ex: what did you do when your MVP was not accepted by stakeholders? - which certification has an answer for this? real time experience can get you the knowledge to answer this not any certificate
