Sound quality during the run was very bad.....engine sound was muffled.......how could you do such things ...........engine sounds is one of the most important thing.....disappointed.......

Dhanil Vira you have 1.5 k likes. Isn’t it appreciation for you? You have Fifteen hundred likes but I don’t like how you are feeling sad and connective just because a few viewers are pointing out a obvious mistake. Maybe the viewers deliberately point em out just to engage with you.
I owned pulsar 220f back in 2012... It comes with a whole lot of problems.
1) oil seepage.
2) chain will always make noise and sounds like a khataara ( even after cleaning tightening and lubing - it will again start making khataara noise after 3-400 km).
3) cold start is a big big problem- I used to press the start button like 35 times to get it going when the temperatures below 15 degree Celsius
4) double stand scrapes even on medium sized breakers.
5) my particular bike had a problem in extreme heat also ( above 40 degree Celsius ), there used to be accumulation of steam in the petrol tank and embarrassingly I used to open up tank lid to let steam off in the middle of the road! How embarassing!
5) fearing vibrated like hell above 6k rpm.
6) disc pads wear out very early.
7) my bike's engine had to be redone at 15k km on odo. I have seen many 220 owners getting their engine redone at around 20-22k km even when driven sanely..
The only positive point is affordable performance, otherwise it's a piece of junk

You are right but the 249cc liquid cooled DOHC engine of the Honda CBR 250r is very refined reliable and powerful
And this bike have a comfortable riding position for long rides/touring.
Yes this bike is outdated and overpriced but in second hand market you got the Honda CBR under 100k and under 100k CBR is best option

Why do people even compare the 220f with other bikes, may not be the best in its segment, but till date, no bike is able to replace the legend, the karizma came, the r15 came, ns 200 came, many other bikes entered the market, but this one never went

I have pulsar 220 2016 model. I think to buy a new bike for myself and sell 220. But when I see it I say no I will not sell. I don't know their are lot of bikes in market with good styling and good power but still pulsar 220 attracts me whenever I see it. What a performer it is and nice highway cruiser too. I JUST REQUEST BAJAJ TO BRING DUAL CHANNEL ABS IN PULSAR 220.
People voting here for other bikes don't know that the MT 15 can do 110kph without vibrations whereas the other bikes can't. Added to that the mt15 gives mileage upwards of 50kmpl

you can not compare 220f with xtream 200 as 200 f was,is,and will be a legend at india at that price and it was the fastest indian bike when it was launched.and still is one of the fastest.
Xtreme 200 is cheaper only on paper. Just compare the spare parts prices. Hero will price them insanely and are not available as usual as uts the same case of Karizma... No surprise the sales will fall. There are many people who sold Karizma who sold it because of lackof availability of spares. Simple spares like even accelerator cable and handle bar grips are not easily available.
220f is a legend and will be a legend as always......

@@jv302 I have turned into quite a few corners and saw my I forgot my indicator was on. Does it work on time based or it detects angle of bike?
@@tejaspadhye see it works well on sharp corners...for example if you turn your bike handle for more than 30 degrees or so..... It works good.... But just for a minimum turn it's not gonna work!!....and no it's not time based at all......you could check it on a stand still....just stop your bike turn your bike right while applying right indicator...and see whether it's working or not....
@@jv302 I have been around many roundabouts but didn't witness it work. But they have it mentioned since the 2007 Pulsars so I think mine might be just a manufacturing defect.

Because...i hav reason... when v r going on CBZ UNICORN. xtreme 200 it feels we r going on CAR. no engine sound , and smooth And soft Suspension i felt on my cbz it is better than car... but in 220 riding as a pillion it is too much bouncy... chain. Noise. Engine rough sound... in bajaj i only like Dominor.and NS 200 because of its suspension..

At the end of day guys will still buy a P220F.

@@DhanilVira the 800 was pulled of the market so that the Alto sells. 800 still outsold the alto back in the day when crash test safety was not a concern to us Indians,the same Bajaj is trying to do with launch of the P180F so as they can pull the plug on the P220F and launch the P250.
Bajaj very well knows they just can't pull the P220F out of production even though it's a very old bike n design. now on the other hand reports of the 2020 P220F with fuel injection! So P220F Future looks promising as of now.

I have filled 19.6 max

I have tested it on many occasions. Max to max it gives you 17.5 liters. Please dont include .75 of unsused reserve. Also, filling it upto the top is not an safe option at all. But one of you have mentioned 19.6 which i doubt as a Meter failure of the Petrol pump machine. If next time you get 19.6 then please compare it with reserve to reserve fuel (atleast twice) economy to make sure the petrol pump is not cheating.
Also, did anyone find it weird to the run the 220F in HP petrol gives more mileage compared to BPCL or Indiane?
I got the maximum mileage of 52 kmpl thrice from HP (which was weird)

18 liters comes quite easily after that you have to fill it slow...
And also riding rannge is 650kms in full tank...that means 34 around FE

Guys i have a problem which is very annoying on my CBR 150R
when i upshift my rpm goes too low (2k rpm) and comes up again to 3-4k rpm according to speed and gear i am in at that moment
i own a cbr 250 and RTR 200 too how ever their RPM dont go as low as 2k rpm when upshifting
also my 3-4-5 gear doesn't slot properly (gear lever travels only half up and comes back down however the gear still gets upshifted )

RTR200 4V is the best bike you can buy for this price. Dual channel abs, slipper clutch, good handling, easy in the city.
