6:29 translation The street that catches whales is a deep river. Water comes around to the chest. I found a small trap, and I try to catch that trap. He clasped his soft body, but he was surprised at the feeling he felt uncomfortable.
That's a rather loose translation. Here's my version: Catching a frog The street became a deep river. Water is rising to my chest. I find a small frog and try to catch it. I tightly grasp its smooth skin but am shocked about how bad it feels
@Ligiiihh That was acrually pretty close to how I interpereted it, considering I've been studying Japanese for over 10 years now. "Catching a frog. The street became a deep river. The water's rising up to my chest. I find a little frog and try to catch it. I tightly grasp at its smooth skin but am shocked at how uncomfortable it feels."
Seeing gameplay that isn't the export is mesmerizing. You can see mechanics that actually work, the game not crashing if you don't save. And the water doesn't begin flashing instantly.
This is one of the scariest games I’ve ever played. I think I got a few super rare occurrences. In the yellow house there’s a long hall/basement. In one of the rooms there is a lady sleeping, while staring at her for 1 frame you can see a skeleton. In another dream you can find an abandoned warehouse and there’s a sack-looking man. If you wait here for a while he turns around slowly and shoots you. You wake up in a meat-locker type room
Yes... it is a pretty startling, bizarre and unsettling and unexpected experience in many cases... which is one of the many reasons why it is one of my favourite games of all time.... You just almost never see any games as unique and as special is this today...
Picture yourself in a boat on a river With tangerine trees and marmalade skies Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly A girl with kaleidoscope eyes
@I'm Hungry Sorry Hungry, I wish I could be more help, but I inherited it already modded from a friend of a friend about 25 years ago, so I can't even ask them. It worked really well for a couple of months, then stopped working altogether.
@I'm Hungry It probably was, and it's a good chance that's why I ended up with it; they knew it had something wrong with it and so gave it to someone before it broke.
So how much of this is from their actual dream and what was added for game play purposes? If all of this was from their dream then I want what they were on, cuz all my dreams put me in places that are familiar but seem to be a different reality at the same time.
@@ermundgibbits2449 I wish I had of got the chance to play LSD - Dream Emulator. It really looked so damn niche as hell. Salvia is the closest thing I can get to the experince, and trust me when I say I'd prefer a virtual experience not a visionary one 🤯😂

That long hall/"basement" is actually a seperate location that just so happens to share Bright Moon Cottage's textures
this game is basically the earliest examples of liminal spaces or backroom levels
I was just thinking the same thing.

I used to own this game and it was a lot of fun to 'play'.
So it can play on a real English ps1?

image if they remastered this game, it would be ruined as the visuals make the experience much more interesting.
i want a soundtrack remaster and leave the rest alone, maybe add more fluid motion to camera just not the world rendering
They did.
Already done, lsd revamped

Also, better game experience on 20+ days
Never heard of the game until my brother told me about it recently,it looks dope just put it on my ps1 classic mini !😎
aesthetic vibe with horrifying graphics
I played tht game when I was a child and never understand it
Basically the player character is keeping a dream journal, making note of every dream they have for a whole year, which is what we play through
So how much of this is from their actual dream and what was added for game play purposes? If all of this was from their dream then I want what they were on, cuz all my dreams put me in places that are familiar but seem to be a different reality at the same time.

This game makes more sense on acid/LSD
It's surprising that LSD doesn't mean the drug but something else.
Visually it's alot more like salvia than LSD which I find funny lol😊

Does this game have some kind of win condition?
Dreams don't have win conditions, they just happen and we carry on, maybe that was the intended experience
no, it was created by an artist and I'm pretty sure he said there was no direct objective. you could say its a piece of interactive art
The closest thing to a win condition is completing Day 365 but other than that, no.
