What’s the movie Beverly Hills Cops II about?
The heat's back on! And Eddie Murphy is cool as ever in this sizzling, smash-hit sequel to Beverly Hills Cop. Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is back-back where he doesn't belong! He's going "deep, deep, deep undercover" into the chic wilds of Southern California, unleashing his arsenal of blazing gunfire and rapid-fire gags against a gang of international munitions smugglers. Back, too, are Judge Reinhold and John Ashton as Murphy's crime-busting sidekicks. And Top Gun's director Tony Scott keeps the pace fast, furious and funny.
This time, Axel Foley returns after Captain Bogomil was almost assassinated during a shooting and must now investigate a series of robberies they like to call the “Alphabet Crimes”.

I love how they go from reluctant allies in the first movie to BFFs in the second
Yes.
I assume their previous trip to Cabo strengthened the friendship
All I heard was bleep, bleep, bleep
You boys get an A for hightech. BLEEP!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
What REALLY makes this work is that everyone is bringing something to the table to solve the case. Foley with his cop tricks and prior skills. Rosewood and Taggert bring an arsenal, high tech resources and their knowledge of Beverly Hills.
“Now let’s blow Billy a big dating game kiss.” The chemistry these guys had was amazing.
The chemistry between the three of them is so great, they should have been in a movie with them just being best buds
whites and blacks do not get along in real life. blacks hate whites.
a relaxing jungle in the living room and an arsenal in the bedroom 😂
LMAO
Billy is really out there
That's not a big arsenal.
Wait till you see Billy's cars 😏
@@vitalityfoxit was in 1987.
Hilarious having the poster for "Cobra" in the film, since Sylvester Stallone was supposed to star as Axel Foley in the original. Stallone did some rewrites to the Beverly Hills Cop script, turning it into a pure action film. He eventually pulled out of the project and used the ideas from the rewrites to make "Cobra."
So, you telling me Cobra and BH Cops were actually a same story but different perspectives from the actors...
@@FALL-LAFF-7477basically. Yes.
Stallone's then wife was also a villain in this film.
Axel Cobretti almost happened.
Don't forget the Rambo poster on the wall just behind Taggart. Not to mention at the end of the film, when Rosewood blows up the truck, Taggart says "F**k Rambo" 😂
Fun Fact: The actor who played Inspector Todd, Gilbert Hill, was a 30 year police officer who retired in the same role he played in these movies, Inspector. He eventually became president of Detroit's city council. He ran for mayor and lost to the corrupt Kwame Kilpatrick.
People forget how common this failure mechanism is in American cities. Once a corrupt group of politicians establishes a foothold among voters, the taxpaying residents leave, further strengthening the corrupt elements but starving the non-corrupt elements of government. The same thing happened to Flint, and water infrastructure failed. People always seem to think the condition of Detroit is 100% due to the loss of a large industry, which is not exactly correct.
I remember seeing Gilbert Hill on 48 hours around 1989. I remember his uniform. This segment brought back a lot of memories
As a guy from Detroit now that I’m older the only reason I think Hill lost that election was because of his rumored ties to some of the notorious drug lords here in Detroit back in the 80s like the Curry Brothers. Kwame was seen as clean, young and ambitious since he already had family in politics.
You mean the same Kwame Kilpatrick that had his sentenced commuted by Trump?
There's a lot more f*cking swearing in this movie than I remember.
I was born in 85 and thanks to this movie I will never forget that tune or this scene lol
This clip should have been called, "Billy's house.."🤔
Stop bleeping out swear words. It’s RUclips not regular tv. 🙄
Little tune apparently from the dating game, is called "The Spanish Flea"
Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass.
The Simpson's did it in an early episode. Homer sang little Spanish flea.
i loved the parts where they said "BEEP"
Because nobody’s got any fucking balls anymore to fucking swear, everybody thinks fucking swearings bad. It’s not.
Hilarious
Love the relationship this crew has
The super glue trick really works, try it! 2:12 It's hilarious Axle looking at the movie poster of "Cobra" in Billy's bedroom, the movie that Stallone wanted to turn "Beverly Hills Cop" into before it was given to Eddie Murphy.
I love Easter Eggs like this. Kudos to the set design / prop department!
Not to mention that Brigitte Nielsen was in both films. :D
But it works different.
You have to heat up the glue and than the heated fumes cover the fat a fingerprint leaves. Than you powder the print and the powder stucks to the glue and voilà: You can see the fingerprint.
@@alcarez_z - Yes. I saw an docu in Discovery channel long time ago. The fingerprints on car leather and plastic dashboards are too fragile to be ‘dusted’ for prints. Forensic’s have a small stove with a small pan to heat the Superglue. They would close the car for a couple of hours and let the Superglue fumes cover the whole interior. After which the Superglue strengthened fingerprints are then dusted with Graphite powder and lifted with transparent tape.
According to producer Jerry Bruckheimer, he and Don Simpson always wanted Eddie Murphy to play Axel, but Paramount insisted on a big name like Stallone, so they met with him after they sent him the script and Stallone told them his ideas. I don’t remember who made the ultimate decision, but the producers got their way in the end. Personally, I think it worked out well for both parties.
I loved how they put Rambo posters background on 1:08
Did anyone see it
I think that’s cobra
@@cashbrotha Cobra is at 2:13.
at 0.19 as well
Part iii fuck Rambo.
It is a still shot from the Movie Cobra. Interesting dig, Stallone was originally signed on to do Beverly Hills Cop but near the beginning of shooting, he overhauled the script and took all the comedy out, just straight action. The studio and Stallone could not agree on the script, so Stallone left. He even changed the last name to Cobretti (the last name used in Cobra). So, this was a little dig at Stallone, even though Cobra performed well, Beverly hills cop and Beverly Hills Cop 2 nearly doubled Cobra's box office take, each. Ultimately Stallone leaving didn't hurt him and it helped make Murphy a legit headliner of movies.
this film is a riot.
my favourite scene is the cement truck chase. it always cracks me up.
"well that's pretty fucking sporty"
@@Citizen_JQP don't complain. it's all i can find!
@@abdulqudz89 thank you for that. 🤣
"Here's $50 dollars, park in next to a limo"
Billy really changed in the sequel.
Would you kick my ass if I told you that I think Beverly Hills Cop 2 is better than the original?
The third one was NOT better than the original tho.
Yep, but i get the feeling you would enjoy it
If Axel had that Detroit Lions jacket on in the first one...that would be my favorite.
I think the same thing. I love the first one don’t get me wrong, I just really like that taggart, rosewood, and foley have a stronger bond in the second one
Nah. What you say is truth.
Billy we really need to talk. 😂😂
Love that the Dating Game Theme was just an improv thing that everyone liked so much they kept it.
proof?
@@flisko123 uhhh, maybe watch the DVD with the commentary on once, dude? LOL, fake fans..
There was harmony in friendship and one note in the theme song. 🎼🎤🎶
Rosewood tries to learn everything from Axel Foley.Taggart tries to keep an eye on both of them, but he gets talked into anything they need him for.what a 3some.all hilarious though.
We need a new Beverly hills cop movie and Axel is a captain now.
Axel would be a modified Inspector Todd. Homage to Gil Hill. I like it, I like it ALOT!!!
You kind of got what you wanted, the new film is actually a lot of fun and has some neat throwbacks
There is a new movie out now: Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F
@@CassandraPhelps-t1e great movie
Axel Taggart and Rosewood are great characters and gel so well too Definitely best friends forever Also 3 great actors too I just wish I hadn't made BHC3 because it didn't work for me I didn't mind bringing back Rosewood and Flint (Hector Elizondo) taking Taggarts place The film didn't work because it wasn't gritty like 1&2 😔
Nice touch with the Cobra poster. Stallone was the original choice to play Axel Foley, but he insisted on making changes to the script to suit him better. His changes raised the estimated cost of the film so the producers decided to go with Eddie. The script they wrote for Stallone eventually became the basis for the movie Cobra.
Yeah Billy's pretty F!&%!# Up 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Beep? Beep...
You can stil monetize/non-age restrict without the beeps you silly gits, I'm not exactly family friendly and the dumbs I show on my channel certainly aren't. But I and have no trouble at all! This is RUclips, not television🙄
"You know where your d*** is don't you Big Al???"
LMAO!
The funnier part is turtle…..male thingies are…….weird and big! 😂 axel would go ape shit if he ever saw one 😂….
Why applying censorship? What's wrong with "dick"?! It was part of the dialogue. You kill the fun!
Without Dick or Penis nobody would be born, but somehow reproduction organ is offensive?. America is pretty fucked up.
Billy is reallyyy....out there isn't he Axel😅😅
I never realized how many swears there were until they bleeped them all out
I didn't know R2-D2 or the Roadrunner had done sound effects work for this movie 😂
its due to the fact that most of what they are bleeping out are not naughty words unless youre 5 years old or a puritan. Shit is just Shit.
Beep, Beep, BEEEP! 👎👎
Who the Fuck makes such shitty censoring... and why.... Just set it to 18+ instead of destroying a good scene.
What I've just figured out is, Bill predicted the future 🤣
The beeps are ridiculous and irritating. Downvote me to cut this crap out.
fuck that censorship
Eddy Murphy? Don't laugh? , What's a bad Axel? On a truck?. HUMOR
And now... Rosewood will need a new tank for "Big Al". The fumes from the super glue are on all surfaces inside the tank. (Poisonous)
maybe some down dish soap? should clean it up
If the tortoise survives he’s gonna be tripping BALLS
These are so unrated 😂😂
Underrated
it is a sad, sad thing that there is the "beep"
ironically, all the bleeping just makes the scene seem worse than it really is. its like it was censored by a kindergarten teacher, bleeping out shit and dick.
Why all the beeps, what's wrong with the word 'Thing'
I love BHC2. Definitely one of the few sequels that was NOT a pathetic money grab. Great cast and highly entertaining. But THIS scene is beyond stupid. Total waste, does nothing narratively for the film, and honestly just drags things out.
I guess they were trying to remind us for some reason that Axel was a "street" cop and not a rich-town kind of cop? I guess....whatever.
But the glue trick is also COMPLETELY fu**ing useless! First, it wastes time by making us hear axel ask for super glue FOUR fu**ing times! Then we have the trip to Bill's house which is again, useless. All to see him make a print appear. Axel then flexes on his Street-cop-ness and makes fun of Taggart and Rosewood for not knowing the street cop tricks. But then he needs the computer at police HQ to match said fu**ing print! So WHY TF was this glue trick even a thing? If they have to go to police HQ to do anything with the print, they could have just gone there to begin with, used the regular old method of dusting the matchbook for prints, and gotten on with life. They would have had it all done in a fraction of the time and saved us two passes through the "Dating Game" melody.
Anyway, great film! Dumb scene.
Eh, this is nothing compared to being at a kiddy amusement park.
censored, cmon
good scene
I wonder how many people under the age of 18 watch these clips that they need to bleep
Fingerprint… now we just need to “match” it 😂
The second one was very good, imo. Not as good as first. The third is hard to watch, Taggart was a good character and Rosewood
WTF! lol, why is everyone so damn concerned in the comments on the censoring and NOT asking if the super glue trick really works!!?? I wanna know. 🤣
What the [bleep] is with the censors?
What's with the beeps for goodness sake
Probably the channel he watched it on is pg13
LOL, he meant to say a basic technique any half baked forensic scientist should know but then again that would have made for a crap line in this classic movie.
LOL well I guess they weren't on this particular field
It went from 1 o'clock in the morning on the telephone in Billy's room to 11 o'clock at the gun club?? Lol what
The Wandering Jew plant is named Sidney? For Sidney Bernstein??
seriously, you beeped out the cuss words? thumbs down. 5.31m subs and only 200 likes. How does that work?
Man Billy is really Weird....... Plants in the Living Room Guns behind the Bedroom Door....... yeah keep saying Billy you want a Stress-Free Environment!
Sing dentures and black phone. Movie bait gold thieves
I thought the super glue thing was Absurd. But the police do you use super glue to get fingerprints. The thing is you have to boil it. Maybe that's why I Foley put the super glue in the tank because it had a heat lamp in it.
I use this almost on a daily basis, you do not need to boil it. We basically use a coffee warmer to heat it up. Funny thing is, superglue will naturally fume over time, the heat just helps to accelerate the fuming process.
@@soccerbboy10 Everyone, listen to this guy.
Bet the fumes are groovy.
STOP WITH THE BLEEP
Bleep lol
How could this work? You’re telling me the ONLY fingerprints are from the bad guys? No fingerprints from the manufacture employees? The retailers that stock the shelves?
Just a movie dude, relax.
I've been looking for this particular scene to back up a theory, because I'm wondering if a similar process is what made the Shroud of Turin, as strange as it sounds? The point of this particular clip being that we know it's possible to use heat and fumes to uncover prints, if the conditions are right.
I loathe videos that bleep out half the words because some over-sensitive shrinking violet thinks they are offensive. If you find the language in a video offensive, don't bloody watch it. The rest of us do not have a problem with 'offensive language' but we do have a problem having to suffer a 'bleep' every few minutes.
Seriously, John Ashton looks like Gerald Ford a little. 😂
This is cool but How old is this thing!! Where’s your telephone! Use the computer downtown! WTH!! You guys definitely get an A in hi tech!! That machine!🧐 Man this generation really struggled 🤔
What's with all the beep's, boring!
People complaining about the beeping RUclips don't allow dirty words get over it.
Education Eddy Murphy!!! Finger prints, alfabet crime's!!! , Fish tank, these guys are fucking great together!!!!!
The censorship is the only problem with this. I've seen this a few times.
These bleeps are ridiculous
I love that cobra poster !
oh ffs those beeps! What is this kindergarten?
Take down the forest, that house looks a lot like Dexter's.
The beeping ruined it
Ah yes lets bleep out all the "bad words"
is it safe to have that many plants in the room?
Yes
soooo.... has anyone tried this for real? did it work?
censorship beeps ruin it.
Can not own half of those firearms in California today.
Not if you don't abide by the rules
IDonThinkSo...
Gunny 😮
Help
Im glad Taget isnt the only one who thinks billy has a gun issue
🙁☹🙁☹🙁☹🙁☹🙁🤦♀️
WHY is this beeped out??
This clip is for kids. Hence the fuckin peeping.
How's the peeping going, Tommy?!? 😂
Kids used more swearing than adults. Ever walked past a playground at break time?🤔
man what a great movie , amazing script , they are such good friends , hanging out & helping a friend
Great trick but that would not work on a paper matches. Only nonporous surfaces. I love this move. I saw it when it came out.
