Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?
Deadpool, "Back off or my stunt double will mess you up."
im going to give you 10 because you always have good box office scenes
3
Zero score for zero effort.
Grade: 5.5. mostly because I like the scene choice. The captions are nice. I do not understand why we see part of the scene and then see it again. It also ends a little more abruptly than I'd have hoped. It doesn't seem that there was much that you did beside choosing a beginning and end.
How the actor who played the receptionist kept a straight face and did not bust out laughing while Eddie did his STD bit is miraculous. I bet this movie has some hilarious outtakes.
💯🤣🤣🤣🤣
They probably did many many takes
LOVE 😂😂😂❤❤
It's called doing your part like a professional. That is why they get paid to stand up there and deliver lines and interact with other professionals. Outtakes(mistakes)usually come from moments that are set up times where lighting and props are doing their thing and the actors are messing about. And or when it is the 22nd hour of a very long day and they are running on exhaustion. 😏
@@WW-wf8tu By the time Sylvester Stallone left the project, the script had very little comedy in it. Most of the comedy in Beverly Hills Cop was adlibbed and there were plenty of takes done for most of these scenes since Eddie Murphy was adlibbing almost everything and catching people off guard constantly. People tolerate long days with multiple takes when they're laughing their asses off.
After this, Mike vowed to be the best body guard the world has ever known. He doesn't even carry a gun, just a pimento cheese sandwich.
Probably more like a avocado toast... like a good vegan b*tch does...
The stuntman who did the throw looked twice the size of Eddy Murphy
He looks like if Richard Pryor had a baby with the mountain from GOT he would be the result lol.
And the stuntman standing in for Jonathan Banks who plays Zack here looks to be much shorter than Jonathan. The combo works, provided you don't watch this part in slo-mo.
Nice catch...
Never noticed that!!
Seen this film loads of times and it’s the first time I’ve noticed that!
I will say this.... Eddie Murphy is a great actor and comedian.
Yup 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 You got that right my friend
Absolutely!
L WILL SAY THIS EDDE MURHY IS A GREAT ACTOR AND COMEDAN
He is also a good boy who is very capable of reading a script full of jokes made by a host of people very capable of making very good jokes...
And musician? I think? "Party all the time" is great
His facial expressions at the end 😂😂
That's pretty darn cool they got Richard Pryor as Eddie's stunt double.
Eddie Murphy grows a moustache, gains 50 lbs, and 20 years when he throws Mike Erhmantrout onto the buffet table.
Hilarious stunt double that jarringly looks nothing like Murphy. Lmfao
@@jobim9347 it's the HD. Back then, you can pull tricks with film because it wasn't that crisp
You sure the guy he threw onto the table was Mike? Looks like Mike grew a lot of hair back suddenly.
And Detective Constable Tom went from interrogating Alex DeLarge to dining in fancy restaurants and talking to Eddie Murphy.
He turned into Richard Pryor LMAO
Never realized how obvious the stunt doubles where in this scene..just shows great movies never highlight their mistakes
Also helps that people back then didn't really have the opportunity to pause the film or have it run on 0.5x Speed to spot those stund dobules.
Mike career started in Beverly Hills before it got him to New Mexico. He never mentioned this encounter to Walter White.
WTF I just realised that's Mike!
He went zero to gay in seconds. His expression and posture! Too funny. God I wish still had movies like this. Can't believe how young he was here.
He even got the music to stop :D
@juha2031 yes! That's such an awesome detail that gets glossed over but it works perfectly for this scene!
Eddie Murphy tried to make 'Victor' laugh in every scene they shared. And, it worked :)
Damn, that stuntman at 1:40 looked nothing like Eddie.
1:40 Eddie('s friend 😂) threw him so hard that he got his hairline back temporarly
hshshshshshshahahahhaha
Eddie- Hair Growth Lotion.
Totally NOT Eddie Murphy @ 1:40 😂😂🤣🤣
1:40 that stuntmen
Pause at 0:04. Eddie Murphy turned into Richard Pryor for a second...
Interesting, I thought the same. I wish you a nice day.😄
Very good Victor, could you teach him the rollover and sit and do all that 💩 too 🤣🤣🤣 probably they smoothest insult I've ever heard
Axel looked at the host dude like he was gonna be his next victim. LoL!!!
00:03 eddie suddenly has a Moustache and looks like Richard pryor
Lmfao
Thanks for not cutting out the swearing. Two thumbs up!
'capricorn' haha, thats gold
Still funny would definitely offend people in this modern day. But HILARIOUS!!😆😅
It wouldn't be "herpes simplex 10", it'd be monkeypox.
And the Alphabets INSIST they are just like normal people?
Yeah. Sure. Murphy nailed the flaming gay persona and we all recognize it.
Agreed!
Much agree.
@@DoubleDogDare54 but he’s bi so it’s not that much of a stretch
so this is how Mike Ehrmantraut got started 🤣
He should have brought a pimento sandwich
"So do I" 😂😂😂
01:41 Eddie..?? Is that you!?? 🤔😂😂
movies from the 80's 😁 gotta love them 🤣
Just noticed the stuntman
Robocop went flying
Brilliant brilliant movie
0:59 Axel:"YOU KNOW, I THINK THAT WOULD BE BEST."
Is this the man who wrecked the buffet at the Harrow Club this morning?
Lower your voice for Christ's sake!
@@Intaberna986 what, can he hear me through the glass?
@@lokisservant8193 ...yes
I absolutely love this scene
they should play this movie everyday lol 👍
"I don't know where you get the idea that I'm a bad person. Now go away before I have you killed again."
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. When it first came out I had just arrived in the USA and begged to learn English. But, I was laughing uncontrollably just seeing Eddie's body language. I almost pee myself.
Hysterical.
FUCK YEAH GO TELL HIM THAT 🤣
Anyone know if the stuntman at 1:40 was purposely left in there for comedy? Or was it a mistake?
It was Eddie's Uncle, Ramon Murphy...
This is one of my absolute favorite scenes from BHC movies! Eddie Murphy was so spot on with his wit and humor here! Straight to gay in seconds and that look he makes as he's walking away!! I like how he magically becomes a bodybuilder to throw that guy over the table! Great scene all around!
2 excellent wing blocks from Murphy before throwing the guy onto the table.
Eddie was only 23/24 years old when he made this movie. People really be forgetting how eddie was. Then fall off was strong
What happened with the fall off? He did some later films where he wasn't the central character. But, he was still OK.
@@fungames24 Wasn't he arrested with a trans prostitute? or was that just urban myth. He had a decade of nothing, then came back with the animal movies.
@@PeterSedesse No idea. A lot of stories are just made up. He wasn't the central character in Tower Heist. It was as funny as his earlier films.
I'd imagine going with a trans prostitute could be quite fashionable nowadays.
Funny as Silvester Stallone was originally stated to play Axl Foley, don't think he could have done a better job. For sure one of the best movies of that era.
'Sly' apparently re-scripted BHC so that it was just an all out action movie and had little to no humour element. So the director all but told him to fuck off.
@@andycross9840yeah and Stallone's version turned out to be Cobra which was a horrible action movie nowhere near as good as Beverly Hills Cop
That was so fast I didn't know they used a stunt man for Eddie
Lol 80s comedy street classic
awww....he'll be fine!!!!
Eddie Murphy transforming into Richard Pryor and yeeting Finger into the sweet table.
I miss the eighties.
Eddie turned into Frank McRae for a split second
Side note. He just outed Victor as a gay man with VD. I bet it will be all over the club by the end of the day. Too funny
Mike Ehrmantraut is bald and old, but very sharp nowadays....
2:43 "I don't know from under what stone your crawled"
3:01 "crawl back to your little stone in Detroit"
so he did know ^^
well, he didn´t know the exact stone.. just in which town the stone was located😃
@@elless4004 aaaah :) that explains it hrhr
"Ramon" 😀😀😀 super fruity
Pause at 1.40. Aint Eddie launching him 🤣
1.40 - Sherman Klump thows 'cuz' over the buffet
And then some years later he starred in an episode of Star Trek Deep Space 9 as an established arms dealer who sells deadly weapons to all warring factions across the galaxy.
Don't mess with Mike Ehrmantraut... it could break bad for you :D
You know I think that would be besssss
Must rent this from RUclips.
1:39 - the two body double look very different and not even an attempt at hiding it for 2s. In particular the stunt for Eddie Murphy looks more like Apollo Creed with that build.
Are there any outtakes on Beverly Hills Cop on video? Maybe they are on the DVD
Almost as good as when he threw Reggie into the piano!
RAMON HAHAHAHA that's like the most stereotypical Latino name ever since José
Who's the guy that threw him over the fruit table, cuz that thick Richard Pryor looking dude certainly wasn't Eddie Murphy. lol
Man, Black Noir really thought he could be Axel Foley??
The guy who says cuz and Eddy M throws him. Isn't that the guy from Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul? The cop turned hitman?
Yepp. That’s Mike
@Bobbie Charles And probably the same guy swinging around on the back of the cigarette truck as well.
@Bobbie Charles Of course, when the movies were made, if you watched them in the theater or later on TV you didn't have the luxury of replaying the scene and taking a second look, so most people wouldn''t have caught that split second. Anymore than in Flashdance they noticed the moustache on the "girl" breakdancing at the end of the movie because they had a breakdancing street kid who refused to shave his cookie duster off doing those difficult movements. 😆
Richard Pryor chucked him over the table
When they did Beverly Hills Cop 3 the element of the scenes from the first movie was missing in the third. Find out who the bad guy is, find proof, create a false persona to get info, then go after bad guy.
I just realized the actor that plays Victor was also in the James Bond film Octopussy as General Ourov. I swear he always plays a bad guy.
1:40 Pause it. Looks like Hightower from police academy who throws him over the table
LOVE LOVE LOVE ❤❤🙏🙏🇨🇦🇨🇦🇺🇸🌍🌍🕊😀😀❤🙏👊🏻
LOVE
Victor’s muscle ain’t really a muscle 😂😂
Little known fact, Eddie Murphy improvised throwing Jonathan Banks over the buffet table. That look of fury and shock on banks face is genuine
Except it wasn't Eddie that threw him over the table. It was a stunt double. 1:40
... mike is more bad ass with his head shaved ..
Mike wouldn’t fall for this today. Axel is great, but Mike is too much a badass in his golden years.
The 'Capricorn' comment is so so brilliant.
I thought that was Jimmy Kimmel at the first glance 😂
1:40 pause......Surely eddie could have done that
Mike ...b4 Breaking bad .
Yeah he's funny
How’d that work out for you Vic?
*Herpes simplex 10* 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Pause the video @ 1:40 to see Murphy's stunt double.
I thought Eddy Murphy was a meh actor always playing the same role over and over…. Until I saw the metro movie, he’s really a good actor, it shows how good actor he really is and can play serious role as well.
Its the difference between Tom Hanks and Robin Williams vs Eddie Murphy and Jim Carrey. Watch Bosom Buddies and then Saving Private Ryan, or Mork and Mindy and then Good Will Hunting.
Such a nice buffet, shame it got wrecked😞
Is that eddie Murphy at 1:41
No. It was a stunt double, as was the guy who got thrown across the table.
No...the stuntman.
Lol
Only Eddie
A modern game with Axel, by the quality bar of Rockstar, would hit the industry with fun again.
That would be awesome!
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
1:55
stop at 1:40, its a stunt man that looks like richard prior lol..... ahhhh.... the 80s......
I miss the 80s, when you could still have straight actors making gay jokes
For real lol 😂
Eddie makes fun of everyone though
How is Axel strong enough to just toss the larger man 6 feet over the buffet (hence wrrrrrecking the buffet and the Harrow Club)?
So do I)
0:09
PAUSE at 1:40
I have no idea who those two guys are XD
ACK Chu Ali, it's not a diversion, but a ploy.
Still, a seriously funny clip from a seriously funny movie.
Edit: There is a pretty funny example of a diversion in this same movie where Axel sends his police tail some room service and takes that opportunity to stuff bananas up their tailpipe.
😄😄
Who is that? Paused video right where Zach gets thrown over table. And the guy looks like the dude from Family guy.
Not Mike Ermentraut's finest moment.
He was young and not as skilled.
1:40 how did Eddie turn into Richard Pryor?
BHC 1 and 2 worked so well because Axel was going up against powerful rich people who were elite Beverly Hills citizens - respected, well connected, no one believed they were up to something and they had important friends they could call to shut the investigation down and make Axel look like he was a crazy, rogue cop with a grudge. Unfortunately, they deviated from the formula in 3 and 4.
I never noticed this before but if you freeze the frame at 1:40 you'll see that Eddie and the "cuz" guy have been replaced by stunt doubles
All that trouble and he forgot to tell Victor about the Herpes Simplex
stuntman 0:04
stop in 0:04 ...el doble
