- What's Q...? Q is the Honey Badger SD, as Jay said its the OG. The Honey Badger SD is a four and a half pound weapon which was originally developed in conjuction with 300 BLK by Kevin Brittingham, Ethan Lessard, and CO in 2009. Listen to Jay for the rest.

I've had mine for over a year, nothing compares. It's worth every cent! Runs great, never a problem. Kids know more about the gun than most adults do because of video games.
fudding love mine! took it junting last 2 years and i swear i get gawks every time, i went to a DNR state hunt and the DNR went nuts with the "modern" day hunter IE being iw as on a recumbent trike hauling my uncles tree climber our lunches and anything we might need to jsut cleant he animal and come back.
we convieniently rode/walked out quietly no hurting backs or any signs of labored breahting.
it was the nicest hunt ive ever went otu 3 miles to get to our spot and had no complaints!
best part was i stalk hunt so walking thru the bush was AWESOME with the badger!
so light and snappy and jsut DROPS white tails!
Can the suppressor be taken off and used on other cherry bombs?
@@fritzisme4547 yes...
no literally how could u not want a sbr honey badger.
Fact.🎯🎰💯
💯
I wanted one so bad I bought one
Definitely one on my dream gun list!
“Kind of a pain to take apart…” what an understatement lol. I still love my Honeybadger tho…
I’ve had mine for a few years now, still one of my favorites.
Love my Honey Badger/Trash Panda combo. It's SO quiet!!
Didn't he just say in this video that the HB SBR SD has a "special suppressor", that is smaller in diameter than Q's regular suppressors?
@@john.wick1 Yup. The SD's suppressor is different than their regular suppressors. Dunno how quiet that one is (probably pretty damn quiet) but mine with their Trash Panda suppressor and subs is hilariously quiet.
They have 3 versions of Honey Badger...
- Honey Badger...SBR that's ready for a can. This is what I have.
- Honey Badger SD...integrally suppressed SBR.
- Sugar Weasel...a cheaper, braced version of the regular Honey Badger.
Last time I was at the range, I had all kinds of stuff with me as I had moved optics around and had to rezero everything. I literally lol'd after the first Honey Badger round as, especially compared to my other stuff, it sounds like a wheezy cough in comparison. 🤣 Dude next to me had an AK with a small can on it and, not only was it not very quiet, it wasn't running for shit. Suppressed AKs are kinda known for that...
I've literally never had a SINGLE MALFUNCTION out of the Honey Badger. Not one. And it's hilariously quiet. And CRAZY light. Love it!! lol
I wish they made a longer handguard to for over a trash panda! I’ve had mine for almost 6 years, still love it
YES! @qllc8143 when can we get thissss
AMMJ Solutions makes an aftermarket solution that does just that.
love my hbsd
Thank you Kevin Brittinham and Q for bringing us the HONEY BADGER! LOVE ❤️ MINE! Everyone else…Don’t Hate! Not for the POORS😢
i first learned about this gun on phantom forces, and boy does this gun look awesome both in game and out
Taking it apart isn’t the problem. Push the pins and step back it’ll disassemble itself 😂 It’s getting back in one piece. Hopefully the 2 piece bcg makes mine easier to deal with.
It gets easier as you break it in
@@qllc8143true. It’s not that bad honestly. . Now I would like to know how you keep from loosing beard hairs to the stock😂.
Please PLEASE make a shrouded handguard SD version of the Boombox 8.6
Sorry, as much as I love Q products. My SD came with the geissele trigger. My buddies sugar weasel came with Q LTBTEM compared both side by side. Theres no difference and if there is, its very negligible.
I took my sad rail off and put a NHR rail I chopped and rattlecanned, the amount of people who have a conniption over it is great. Imagine that I actually use the piss out of my stuff and do what suits me best for what I’m using it for, who could imagine lol
I gotta move, we can't have nice things in commie CA 🤙
you gotta move
Rodriguez Paul Brown Scott Martinez Jason
great video, one on the 13 inch sugar weasel would be neat, a 9mm suppressor with 1.069 inches of diameter would also be neat.
Just saying.
I can understand why Q has the reputation it's known for. Thank goodness for capitalism.
Q is when you get an innovative and light gun, but it cost an arm and a leg.
Also, are you guys looking into the new 6max cartridge and how it might actually deliver what 6arc, 6.5grendel and 6.8spc all promised to do?
6mm Max can’t deliver what 6.5 Grendel has done for the past 2 decades. 6.5 Grendel also exceeds 6mm Max short barrel performance with the same projectile weights, and can match the velocities with 2” less of barrel, using less chamber pressure. I still think 6mm Max is an interesting cartridge design though, and is what 5.56 should have been in the late 1950s. 6mm Max matches 20” 5.56 performance from 10.5” barrels, which is impressive. 6.5 Grendel matches 20” 5.56 performance from 8.5” barrels, while also having the ability to shoot 90gr-160gr projectiles, including supersonic or subsonic 140-160gr. 6.5 Grendel also has 20 years of magazine development and production behind it, which the 6mm Max is just entering and will naturally go through a series of bugs before finding reliable 20-28rd mags.

LOL waiting on the dust cover debate to kick off here in the comments........

I didn’t care much for the grittiness of the Q trigger.

Wait, so the HB SBR SD doesn't have the Trash Panda, or the Thunder Chicken? It has it's own special suppressor?

Why are so many people under the impression that it has the Trash Panda? And what is the name of this "special" suppressor?

My Honey Badger SD has the G trigger....cuz y'all did that back in the day.
I think I like that trigger over the “LTBTEM”-trigger but it’s close. They are both good.

I do wish it had a forward assist. There’s been a few times I’ve needed it.
Such as?
@@silvermediastudio when I’m getting ready for a hunt and chamber a round. I try and be quiet when transitioning from areas on public land that require an empty chamber. If I had a forward assist I could slowly release the bolt and send it home the rest of the way with forward assist. But since I don’t have the assist, I have to release the bolt, making a lot of racket.
@@Dmoore37 Sorry, I'm not following. You're getting ready for a hunt, as in you are not yet out in the woods/field? Why do you need to be quiet before you go out? Are you going out into the woods/field without a round already chambered and safety on? And why do you require the forward assist to chamber a round in either of these situations? The forward assist was added to the M16 for situations where the bolt did not fully go into battery due to obstructions or lack of maintenance in combat conditions. Please can you explain more?

I wish I could trade what I got for one of these. But I don’t wanna wait for the tax stamp already waiting three months for just a can now. I always wanted one of these. Sweet gun for sure. Maybe next year 😂
3 month wait for a can is great bro, wtf are you smoking? Most people wait 6 months to a year

I cannot understand the draw of SD rails. the suppressor makes the handguard too hot to hold and I've even had polymer front backup iron sights warp because of the rail getting unbearably hot. Like do yall REALLY need that much extra rail space that you're willing to compromise on overall length of your weapon and heat transfer? The problem is even worse with the HB rails because of how light and thin they are.
What kind of chinesium are your back up irons LMAO 👌
literally just magpul mbus...do you not understand how hot suppressors get? @@hikeskool
You can’t even mount anything to the handguard nothing more than a range toy
It has 1913 Picatinny rail along the top and MLok everywhere else. What can't you mount?
@@silvermediastudio the can is too close to the handguard so you can’t mount anything out front
@@See-yw1vw You didn't answer the question, what can't you mount? Lights can be mounted on the bottom or off the top rail using an offset mount (LaRue, GG&G, GCode, Haley, DD, many others). Foregrips/handstops can be mounted on the bottom, as they usually are. Lasers or I2/thermal scopes can be mounted on the top rail.

We ALL want one, us normie's tho just can't afford em and then there's that unconstitutional wait too Lol so 6+ months and $3,000+ dolla's later Haha 😂
Save an average of $60/week and you've got over $3,000 a year later.
That's less than one night out in the life of a typical 25-50 year old in a sub/urban area.
Take that one night a week you now have free and teach yourself a skill, make something you can sell on the side.

Is the honey badger can the same as the thunder chicken?
No sir. HB can is a smaller diameter can to fit under the handguard
