  • Use part over whole in order to solve example problems as follows.
    What percent is 9 out of 18
    If you have 5 red marbles out of 50 marbles what percent are red marbles.
    7 out of 30 as a percent
    8 out of 30 as a percent
    This percentage formula is easy to use and eliminates using a decimal
    Percentage formula
    Part/Whole = %/100

    Thank you! I’m getting ready to home school my daughter. Lately, I’ve been assisting her with homework. After watching this video it brought back memories of how I did math. I was so confused bc my daughter has an image of a square divided in 4 parts instead of an equation problem like the one on your video.

    10 / 200 x 100 = 5% thats way easier
