While there is a meritocratic element to wealth and success, after some life experience it’s quite obvious that’s the wisest, ‘happiest’ and strongest people are not among the elites. Life is not supposed to be like that, and the fact that people like us are so influenced by these wealthy people is a reflection of our lack of evolution/ self awareness. I feel we are entering a more conscious state, following the chaos that we are currently living through; one where people are comfortable enough in their own skin to live their best life and follow their own dreams or goals without the burning desire to become wealthy, vein and popular.

Being one of two brown girls in my high school graduating class, the uneducated, insensitive kids would call me every racial slur in the book.
