Piers invites Alex on the show to discuss his recent loss in court to the parents of victims of the Sandy Hook massacre after they sued him for saying the shooting was fake and to challenge Alex on some of his bizarre and outrageous theories over the years.

I was interested in seeing this interview. I was very disappointed. I would have liked to hear Alex explain his reasoning on the things he has said, however we heard the accusations but never got to hear him explain because Piers wouldn’t let him talk. I love watching Piers but I was disappointed with this one.

On the evening of December 14, 2012, Piers Morgan did an interview with Alex Israel. A former classmate and neighbor of Adam Lanza. During that interview, she claimed (without contest) that Nancy Lanza was a kindergarten teacher. This claim was made by other locals, the school's nurse was quoted saying it, Adam's former mentor stated it, the media even claimed that it had been confirmed by the DOJ and people close to the investigation that she was. So what happened to all of that? Cause now we're told she didn't work there in any way. So clearly someone is lying. Either she was and there's a cover up or everyone else is lying, including the media.
I'm not a supporter of Jones, but let's not pretend that there were maaaaaaaaaany others spreading lies about this case. And it was these lies that spurred these stupid conspiracy theories in the first place.

Piers is interrogating Alex for something he apologized for years ago. Asking Alex if he can understand how his words can be hurtful. Yeah, Alex probably sees how his words were hurtful, that's probably why he apologized for it a decade ago or so.
As distasteful as people might find Alex's words, the man is allowed to entertain whatever theories he wants in his call-in show. You don't have the state muzzle him by seizing all his money and taking him off the air. When you disagree with someone, you counter that speech with more speech. Since the event really happened, it's relatively easy to show that it did, because it is real. So you do that. And you show that theory he entertained is bs. You don't take the guy off the air and have the state come down on him. That's not in line with a free society.

I normally like Piers and honestly hate what Alex stands for most of the time - BUT i have to admit, this was NOT an interview. I didn't come to appreciate Alex Jones till years after Sandy Hook. He seemed genuinely sorry about Sandy Hook and most of what he talked about was interesting.
Remember the teacher from Florida who questioned how everything was orchestrated? Well he took time and did his own research. This is what he kearned. The school had been shut down because of mold issues,another school had been built. No electricity ,water or internet at school for over a year. He dug looking for answers. His first thought that no Sheriff can come out and just say they're all dead. It has to be a coroner. I don't know what happened that day but a lot of money has been off of it,which i think is despicable unless it all goes to helping schools get better security. I knew from the stsrt it would be a call for guns to be banned. Well while we're at it ban all nuclear weapons, all these missles that kill thousands of children across the middke east. Just go back fighting wsrs with sticks and stones. Put everyone on equal ground. But that aint gonna happen. Violent video games has made kids ammuned to blood and death. Under his eight years we tore thru every country in the Middle East ending in Yemen. Times were tough. People loosing homes,unemployment high, gas went up. About like right now. But it's worse now. It's a big mistake to open your borders,we should have learned from the uK. But it's been coming here for a long time. The change to North Anerican Union with a new currency. Just open the borders have no border. Let folks come and go as they please. But Mexico is cartel ran an owned. They send their M13 here to do their drug distribution.
