The only time i have ever seen an lc plastic spur get damaged is from a bad mesh or if you had dirt or rocks inside. What will get damaged from hard driving is the rear and front input gears to the diffs. Lcracing cars are solid for racing and ok for bashing.
WLToys is more like the cheap clone of the LC Racing cars, as you correctly mention in the video. Maybe the clones are decent value for money, but the original is more refined. As for reliability, all I have replaced so far are batteries, tires and a steering servo
I love my emb 1 it will do 53mph on 3s stock I have had it to 89mph with a hobby wing sct10 combo what I don't like is if you tighten the slipper it will strip the spur
i put the metal one in since it stripped on a hard braking and now i basically locked the slipper its sweet now can handle hard stop and obviously 3s gotta say embt up there with my tekno on fun factor
@@ValRC1 I run brushed on some vintage buggies, but only for casual running. Cleaning brushes and commutators gets annoying pretty fast, brushless (if with a combo that has good low throttle control) is way more reliable
There is not much info on LC racing cars, so your long term review is very much appreciated, thank you.
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
I have an Emb-sc and a touring car. Both are amazing and durable. Run fast, light and easy to maintain.
I bet! Might get one of the LC Racing models myself as well one day. Thanks for watching :)

Nice, glad you like yours as well!
@@ValRC1 Actually ran mine today. Btw, talking about the first generation, EMB-1H series, but pretty similar

That's amazing, yeah don't tighten the slipper too much, that's way too much power for the little plastic teeth on the spur gear!

Which Tekno do you have?
Nice truggy
I agree 👍 thanks for watching!
How did you connect the fan? is there a connector for it on the esc?
No, I just connected it to one of the channel ports on the receiver
oh i didnt know that works like that, thanks @@ValRC1
Np!
I have a Wltoys 144001. And he's brushed!! And brushed is much better than brushless 😂😂.
Unsure I'd agree with that lol. Last time I drove my brushed 144001, it drove for 15 seconds until the ESC went up in smoke 😂
I'll add brushes to my brushless LC car, best of both worlds. ;-)
