Don Kellough He is. When I was just a kid, I witnessed how good he was. It was only a year ago someone talked about him, and I told them when he was on his game, there was no one better.
That was the best part, along with the Love he showed for Mr. Rooney and the singing of the anthem back when things were not going so good for him he was belting out the anthem!!!
As a 48 year old man I was just a young kid watching the Magic that was Terry Bradshaw. I remember his last game against the Jets like it was yesterday and cheered so much on those 2 TD passes but remembering crying also when he reinjured himself knowing his career was over. Terry Bradshaw then and now will always be my idol, I admire his play and courage so much and cant get enough of these videos on him. As my dad will always be my hero Bradshaw is a close second.
Terry Bradshaw #12 will always be cherished in my heart and so many Steeler and non-steeler fans alike. Terry if by any chance you ever read this, I just want to say I respect you and everything you ever did for this Immaculate Team & as a very special Individual Person. Thank You all for this wonderful Documentary.
I was 17 when Bradshaw was drafted so I have been around for his whole career and the sideshow that has followed. Despite a few idiots that booed him when he got hurt, all we ever wanted to do was to love this guy and to have him love us back. It's so great that so many of those 70s Steelers have stuck around and still get involved in Pittsburgh events. Most of us wish that Terry would do the same. He is a southern boy and will probably never want to live here full time, but it would be great to see him more than we do. All of the players and fans from that era are getting old and time is short.
One of the best interviews ever! Terry Bradshaw was so honest and sincere and he’s a class act. One of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game, I’m so glad he made amends with the great Chuck Noll before he passed away (RIP, coach). And RIP, Steve Sabol, who was such a great NFL filmmaker, historian and interviewer.
I live in California I was 12 yrs old my dad ask what are you watching, am looking at this qb at Pittsburgh he is going to be great. Thank you for the great memories ❤️
He also struggled (and still struggles) with severe depression. While he and his people publicly refer to it as a simply depression alone, it's quite obviously manic-depressive disorder. The rarer type, in that he flips and flops rather quickly but usually stays quite positive and "manic" (and honestly, I don't believe that deserves quotations. He's quite manic, but in a wonderful way. And it's actually lovely, and makes him exactly who he is). Usually, manic depression is a slow boil to one extreme or the other. All in all, god bless this man, and god bless us for being so fortunate to be able to experience him via the mediums of professional football, movies, and presenting on television as one of the most iconic personalities ever. When Fox Sports had signed that deal with NFL, they had a completely new and different take on the typical kind of formal, boring, reserved, teleprompter driven recapping of statistics sports programming that was all America knew of at the time. And Terry was the PERFECT fit. Without him, there would be absolutely ZERO chance of that programming making it. He single-handedly completely changed the way sports were discussed on television. Bringing about more ad-libbed banter, and just a FUN approach to it all. And hell, it IS sports, after all. They're games. Games are meant to be fun. Thank you for attending my TED Talk. And THANK THE UNIVERSE FOR TERRY BRADSHAW!

Great story!! Cowboys fan here. Even though Steelers beat us on those two Super Bowls they were epic SuperBowls! Two evenly matched teams fighting it out. All those great HOF players on both sides on the same field!! Just amazing!! Love Terry Bradshaw’s story.
Sorry chum the Steelers lost to dallas in 1972 and Dallas had to wait until 1986 or so to beat them regular or post season. What they both had in common was a superior trainers who used steroids in their training and knew the right dosege and exercise Alvin Roy got the Cowboys their Superbowls with his program and Louis Reicke who was suggested by Roy who Noll wanted because of Noll working with him when they were both at San Diego of the AFL. Roy was with the Chiefs in 1970 after getting them a Superbowl so he had to tell Noll no. Later Roy won superbowls for Dallas.
I absolutely love Terry Bradshaw!! I've been a Steelers fan since the age of 10. I'm now 47. He is the reason I am still a fan. These clips take me back to the time when they were allowed to play football! The refs let them play. Not the sissy ass games of today when they blow the whistle before they hit the ground!!
Bradshaw … the greatest Steeler! The fans will always love you Terry. You lifted us up after 25 years, you won us our first Super Bowl We all grew together. Thank You!
The true measure of a man is having the ability to see and feel the truth. I am so glad Mr. Bradshaw was able to realize how much he has grown through his lifetime. An amazing athlete but more than that a man with a wonderful personality and sense of humor. We are all a contradiction in our ways and Terry now realizes that and takes responsibility, you can't ask for more than that. God Bless you sir!
God, those Steelers were great…and led by a great QB. Strong as an ox. Love that man, courage of a lion. The Dapper Dan event in 2003 brought a tear to my eye, reconciliation is a beautiful thing.
One of the most overlooked aspects of Bradshaws greatness was that he called nearly all of his own plays from the field. He was a true field general and his ability to read defenses and adjust is legendary.
@@vulcan1429 Absolutely agree. You take any QB of the last twenty years and most would have selling insurance in five years after dealing with the defensive type of football back then. Crybrady would have lasted 8 or 9 years maybe. They didn't throw roughing the passer flags for touching a shoulder pad ! Lol
I can't tell you how many times you broke my heart Terry Bradshaw on some of them miraculous plays you made God bless you and you were something to watch
I hope we live long enough to look back and appreciate the people that pushed us to be better. Terry Bradshaw is truly a wonderful soul. Favorite song Amazing Grace!
I have great respect for anyone who can publically declare honestly that they were wrong . He was a great player but more importantly he is also strikes me that he is also a individual of quality.
Terry Bradshaw, my favorite QB of all time!! When I was 11 years old, my parents bought me a Steelers jersey w/his name on it that to this day I still proudly own!! I'm now 51 years old. Also, Terry came to speak at my high school back in 1983( I was a freshman) & he was drinking Coca Cola from a bottle but didn't finish it. When he left, my brother who was a senior at that time, snuck in the auditorium, drank the rest of the soda & kept the bottle. I do believe my brother still has that bottle to this day.
As a life long RAMS fan i must sat Terry Bradshaw is my favorite all time quarterback because he is awsome. Did anyone else notice that during the national anthem he was singing. They dont make them like him anymore
After reading a couple of bios of him decades ago, I came to admire him greatly as a man. His being small town and all the struggles he went through until finally being the first 4 time SB winner. I say this as a Browns fan.
i’m a woman, never played ball, couldn’t play sports as a kid due to asthma, couldn’t watch football on tv because my mom thought that was for the boys, but there is something about these stories that reach into the core of me. Every one of these Football life stories has some strong part that feels like deep life lessons I can relate to.
Loved your comment!! We lived in a different time back then!! Very family oriented..... and you could run and play without fear. I remember the worst fear I had was getting in trouble from my parents!! Ahhh the good old days!! Montana Rick.
Wow. You know, for some reason I loved my Cowboys and Staubach. But now as an older man, I love Bradshaw. I mean everything about him. His sentimentality and wit, his earthiness and his determination to win. When Bradshaw got tough, the game was over.
He struggled early and if he played in today's game, fans would've asked for his release or for a trade, if other teams would trade for him. It just goes to show that patience and the willingness of a team to endure losing season after losing season will pay dividends. More often than not, players who struggle don't get back up but the owner had faith in him. In the end, he did succeed but he had to pay a price for it. Years later they reconciled and the rest is history. What a remarkable athlete, A great coach and a caring owner.
Tebow went 9-7 in his 16 starts. That's a whole lot better than Terry's first 16. Or Favre's. But he wasn't given the chance to develop like they were.
Im a grown man, and Im crying like a baby watching this. Terry, has always been an enigma and a failure and a comedian and hero and most impotantly: a man. God bless Terry
This special has so many lessons for so many people. Thank you for uploading and sharing. It is amazing how the passage of time teaches and matures a person.
Incredible...intense...emotional. What more can I say? I'm speechless! I've always loved Terry Bradshaw! He just exuded leadership, greatness, a gladiator's Spirit! God Bless you. 💯🙋🙏
Terry Bradshaw is and always will be the BEST QB Pittsburgh ever had. I'm a life long Steeler fan and no disrespect to Big Ben but when you win 4 Super Bowls in your career then you can hold a candle to the man.
Terry Bradshaw now admits that he is having trouble with his memory and even on the Fox NFL pre-game shows he helps co-host he has trouble concentrating on the teleprompter cues. Its likely the many concussions he had playing football have taken their toll
Bradshaw called his own plays. No speaker in his helmet. 4 Super Bowls victories. Great when it mattered. Called the plays that kept their great offense moving. Bradshaw called the plays to give the ball to Franco; called the plays then delivered the ball to Swann & Stalworth. To do this and win 4 Super Bowls deserves mention among the greatest of all time.
@greg garner Yes, the league is much more balanced. You never know who might go to the SB, there are different teams there pretty much every year. You can support your team, because they actually have a chance to win a game.
Your comment makes no sense, you write the pro game was hardly better than the college game, but was filled with Super teams? Look at the teams in the 70's that won a Super Bowl; Bradshaw/Noll(HOF) Staubach/Landry(HOF) Stabler/Madden(HOF) Griese/Shula(HOF) If you think for 1 second a college football team could play with the Cowboys, Steelers, Dolphins or Raiders, you're beyond delusional
I saw Terry Bradshaw play against the Dallas Cowboys in Texas Stadium, at the end of the Game, Terry smiled and waved to the Fans before running though the Tunnel. Its got to be tough to one person being booded by thousands of Home Town Fans at Three River Stadium. I'm glad that Terry found a way to go back to Pittsburgh.
As a fifty year steelers fan I miss the days of Bradshaw. Of course I miss all the players from that team. Not just because of the super bowls but because it was different in many ways. To many cry babies now and most wouildnt be able to play now days. Terri is tough honest and a hard nose football players. Brady would not have made it through the first Bradshaw's first season. God bless you Terri thanks for the memories.
Terry still is my QB. It's great to see him grow up and take ownership if his challenges of which we all have. He took up to four World Championships and put Pittsburg Steelers on the map! We could have never done it without him God Bless you Terry!
An amazing qback and an inspirational man. I am glad he mended his relationships before it was too late. Thanks for all the great games and memories. .
Growing up being a Dolphin fan.... Terry Bradshaw was the man. I never realized he suffered the way he did. He was a great QB and during his time he did what it took to make the Steelers. Thanks for all the great memories. Love watching you on TV even though I didn't win you money on FOX :) And yes you never lost a Super Bowl! Job well done
Terry was one of a kind. I love watching him on TV now. He has fun and still remembers the little boy within his spirit and that is the way he played football. I love his quote about today's quarter backs that get a fowl on the field. Terry said. "I think they just should put a skirt of those guys." Love ya Terry. I would just like to spend a weekend with Terry, it would be one great two day fun with this guy and lots of laughs...
Wow, just wow. Growing up with parents from PA and watching the Steelers and Bradshaw made this so real. I can't tell you how much it means to watch this and see the humanity of Bradshaw portrayed in such a well done story of anger, hurt and redemption. Hats off to Chuck Knoll for having the heart to accept Terry's apology. Great job telling the story of a man who is open enough to share his feelings, good and bad. Thank you.
My favorite player by far is Terry Bradshaw. No one could throw a deep pass like him. He had a rifle for an arm. Put him in a big game and no one was ever better. Those Steeler teams stack up against any team in any era. He is a class act.
Passing in this era was gunning; Not alot of touch passes as we see today; Stallworth and Swan had very few passes each game thrown to them; They had to catch everyone that touched their hands.
Kudos, man! That was probably the best way to put it. Terry was the perfect QB for the Steelers...a team full of talent then. He brought out the best in all of them. Spot on! A piece of the puzzle that if missing, they would have just...been.
Roethlisberger is the same way..also tough and comes thru in the clutch..may not have a cannon for an arm but his throws are DIMES..Us Steelers fans have been spoiled with great tough winning QBs..hopefully the Steelers can find that next great QB
Terry Bradshaw is a class act. A good wholesome guy thrown into a business that he thought was supposed to be fun. I didn’t realize the struggles he went through. It goes to show you, we have no idea what goes on behind closed doors.
He was 1 of the BEST.......U take the Chiefs QB .... Getting Millions & Millions of dollars, If they were paying that kind of Money back when Bradshaw was playing... I know for a fact....He would of made a Billion Dollar Contract 🏆🏆🏆🏆
No tf he wouldn’t bro let’s not lie to ourselves Bradshaw was good no doubt but Patrick mahomes actually deserved his contract lmao Bradshaw spent 5 yrs with 48 tds and 81 interceptions he’s lucky to even have earned another chance at starting for Pittsburgh
@@cjcolzie826peyton has the nfl record for most interceptions in a season and went 3-13 in his first season. Not many qbs are good in their first season💀
The game of the 70's was a different sport. the manner in which receivers were roughed up and QB's were assaulted and runners emphasized made for lesser statistical outcomes. Bradshaw's stats pale in comparison to today's quarterbacks, hence Terry is overlooked. But he was a gutsy QB who developed into a great playmaker and winner. Enjoyed the interview.
Great inspiration for all of us that have greatness in us in one form or another. Take our ups, downs, lovers, haters and overcome and succeed. Thanks Terry for the subliminal motivator with your personality that you are!!!
I remember being a kid, Terry Bradshaw was the guy we all wanted to be! Living close to Pittsburgh, growing up a Steelers fan, TB represented the tough, gritty passer that could don the black & gold. It was impossible to imagine any other QB that could fill those shoes. I never understood how things went so badly for so long, but it’s great to have him back! I’m glad Terry knows now, just how much the majority of fans, the people of western PA, care for him. His football legend belongs here,
Bradshaw I can sit down with Marino/ Warner and say I never lost a Super Bowl 🍲. 😂 that’s priceless when Bradshaw said his favorite song 🎧 is Amazing grace 🙏. I said wow frank thought 💭 it was going to be a country song. That told me all I needed to know about Terry. A man of faith that’s what got him through those tough times. And me too.!! Congratulations 🍾 Bradshaw on your hall of fame career. And 4 Super Bowls. You are Jordan have something in common. You never lost a championship game. You can say that to him if you meet.
God bless Terry Bradshaw! He was a serious competitor in every aspect of the game. Back then Terry Bradshaw would have deserved a hundred million dollar contract. Terry playing For the Love of the game because he loved the game more than he loved the money. God bless you Terry Bradshaw in every aspect amen July 26th 2021

And he's an idiot to boot.
@Wok Gees, not nearly the idiot that you are.
Terry was great not good but great!!!!!!
Love how he took all of the heat off Chuck at his Penn HoF induction, took it all on himself. Owned up to the former disputes. Class act.
That was the best part, along with the Love he showed for Mr. Rooney and the singing of the anthem back when things were not going so good for him he was belting out the anthem!!!
Your observation is insightful.
I think Terry is a born-again Christian.
Sam Sterling, The mark of a true Champion 🏆. Leadership, charisma, greatness....all of it
Growing up in Pittsburgh was great. We love Terry more than he knows!!!!!
Being from SW PA myself. It's hard to believe it's been that long ago.
Terry Bradshaw #12 will always be cherished in my heart and so many Steeler and non-steeler fans alike. Terry if by any chance you ever read this, I just want to say I respect you and everything you ever did for this Immaculate Team & as a very special Individual Person. Thank You all for this wonderful Documentary.
you're welcome.
I loved watching Terry Bradshaw play and in my opinion he is one of the Greatest Quarterbacks of all time!
I never realized he struggled so much. All I remember is him winning.
Same here. I never watched football until I saw Steelers vs Cowboys and had Steelers stuff with #12, 88, 32 on them.

If you're not old enough to remember watching Bradshaw, you cant appreciate how great he was.
This whole interview, especially the ending, has made me love Terry Bradshaw more.
That Pittsburgh HOF induction speech by Terry at the end is one of the best I've ever heard. Brings tears to my eyes.
Now that is how you apologize.
It’s not overlooked. That’s how it was then.
Not only wasn’t this unusual, champ, but he often asked webster for advice.
Nut huggers...
He called every play in four(4) Super Bowls. Sorry Brady, you can't match that.
Lol

AMAZING GRACE yes... Terry has touched my love, thur sports and this GOD that makes this love possible... Thanx Terry
I can't tell you how many times you broke my heart Terry Bradshaw on some of them miraculous plays you made God bless you and you were something to watch
As a kid, i thought Terry Bradshaw was the greatest and to me he still is the greatest quarterback ever.
I hope we live long enough to look back and appreciate the people that pushed us to be better. Terry Bradshaw is truly a wonderful soul. Favorite song Amazing Grace!
HOW could anyyyone NOT like this??.... What a QB, what a journey, & what a man - NOBODY like the legend Terry Bradshaw
A man that learned to come full circle big respect for me.
The reunion with Terry & Coach Noll had me in tears. I was very moved with emotion.
did you squirt some pee?? from your vag?? RAIDERS!
One of the best videos I ever saw Terry Bradshaw and his experience in Pittsburgh what a great man
As a life long RAMS fan i must sat Terry Bradshaw is my favorite all time quarterback because he is awsome. Did anyone else notice that during the national anthem he was singing. They dont make them like him anymore
After reading a couple of bios of him decades ago, I came to admire him greatly as a man. His being small town and all the struggles he went through until finally being the first 4 time SB winner. I say this as a Browns fan.
That was fantastic. As a kid not from Pittsburg, we just watched the Super Bowls and were in awe of him. Had no idea about all this. God bless Terry!!
If u were from there u would know it’s spelled Pittsburgh 😅

Always had fun watching Terry. Even now can’t wait for his sports show in Sunday morning. One of the greatest. A winner.
How can anyone not love Terry?!
i’m a woman, never played ball, couldn’t play sports as a kid due to asthma, couldn’t watch football on tv because my mom thought that was for the boys, but there is something about these stories that reach into the core of me. Every one of these Football life stories has some strong part that feels like deep life lessons I can relate to.
Thanks for sharing. IT's good to hear that kind of stuff.
Amen.
Loved your comment!! We lived in a different time back then!! Very family oriented..... and you could run and play without fear. I remember the worst fear I had was getting in trouble from my parents!! Ahhh the good old days!! Montana Rick.
Terry is such a living legend with a great sense of humor. He is good man.
I'm very proud of Terry Bradshaw you never lost the Superbowl!11/6/21
Wow. You know, for some reason I loved my Cowboys and Staubach. But now as an older man, I love Bradshaw. I mean everything about him. His sentimentality and wit, his earthiness and his determination to win. When Bradshaw got tough, the game was over.
Bradshaw would brag about beating Staubach twice. That is a compliment because Roger was like captain America.
Despite it all, we appreciate ur honesty and candor. You will always be a winner in our eyes, TB12🏈🏆❤️
I watched everyone of his SB wins as a kid, those years were the highlights of my whole life!
Mine too
He struggled early and if he played in today's game, fans would've asked for his release or for a trade, if other teams would trade for him.

Such a stand up guy. Just totally owns any flaws or mistakes with no excuses. Much respect.
Bradshaw had a hell of a team helping him out, and a badass defensive lineup..
Bradshaws defense bailed him out in 3 of them Ben hit the game winner in superbowl 43
This was a great interview of Bradshaw as he covered all the bases and ended with a huge and apologies to his coach. What an honest and fabulous man.
Oh don't forget that was the era of super teams with no caps. NFL was so lop-sided back then, it was hardly better than college football.
@greg garner Yes, the league is much more balanced. You never know who might go to the SB, there are different teams there pretty much every year. You can support your team, because they actually have a chance to win a game.
@@kvmairforce LIke that Patriots team that went to all those super bowls in the 70's and 80's. Man, too bad we can't have a team like that now.
@@cityofchamps66 he meant it was lopsided like college football. Think a lil bit before you try and correct someone
I was lucky enough to watch Terry play in two of his four Super Bowls, against the Cowboys and 78 season and the Rams and 79 season
No, I'm not crying... loved how Terry came full circle, and realized, he was loved, and appreciated ... 💯💯💯💯
Love Terry and Chuck. Classics, never to be replaced or replicated.
i've been a terry fan for a long long time! just bcs of who he is.. a complicated human being and a lovely man. and a great football player
Thank you.
One of the best interviews of all time.
My favorite player by far is Terry Bradshaw. No one could throw a deep pass like him. He had a rifle for an arm. Put him in a big game and no one was ever better. Those Steeler teams stack up against any team in any era. He is a class act.
Terry Bradshaw was the perfect QB for the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was at his best in big games.......... powerful throwing arm
Jay Company
Passing in this era was gunning; Not alot of touch passes as we see today; Stallworth and Swan had very few passes each game thrown to them; They had to catch everyone that touched their hands.
Kudos, man! That was probably the best way to put it. Terry was the perfect QB for the Steelers...a team full of talent then. He brought out the best in all of them. Spot on! A piece of the puzzle that if missing, they would have just...been.
He held a national record for the javelin in Louisiana I believe in HS
Roethlisberger is the same way..also tough and comes thru in the clutch..may not have a cannon for an arm but his throws are DIMES..Us Steelers fans have been spoiled with great tough winning QBs..hopefully the Steelers can find that next great QB
this was so good. always love Terry.
Forget Mahomes....a mediocre QB these days makes more in a year than Bradshaw or Staubach made in their career.
@@cjcolzie826None of them deserve the absurd amounts they're paid. And Bradshaw was a bettee all around QB than Queen Patrick😂
