I think for a while in the beginning, you can just stick with presets without changing them. Thank you for making this second comment too, it made me think about a whole video simply going over what each thing does in a typical synth.
Yo oscillation is the most basic term in syntheses. Here's a tip for you: Try to learn something about synthese first before downloading all this free stuff. Check out LMMS, they have a bunch of stock plugins that emulate a bunch of devices like that. It's a free DAW available for all 3 major operating systems. Other than that, most of these will be able to make some sounds from those, I would look up the waveforms used in GBA audio/music/sound effects. What DAW do you use now?
@@TransverseAudio I do use LMMS, but I mostly use VSTs right now. I'm still new, and figuring my way around the program.
So I'll explore what the program's got, I guess. Thanks for the tips
Im having trouble to add on my fl studio pls help
Check out my video on installing plugins to FL Studio.
@@TransverseAudio btw that last plugin think this is a virus and got deleted it automatically
after a year i can still confidently say that 38911 v4 is still bugged and broken as hell. even when it decides to work instead of triggering windows defender, it still crashes unexpectedly. its a shame because this has some of my favorite sounds.
If any of you decide to use it anyway and it somehow works for you, I'd highly, HIGHLY recommend making directwave instruments out of them. honestly id pay for a soundfont full of them lol
VSTsid by igorski is a great C64 synth
Hm I will check it out
I hope you enjoy them!
Any chance of an idiot's guide on how to use them?
I looked at their manuals and not being familiar with any of the terminology - I was just like "uh... Yeah... Oscillation is wobbling right?"
Thanks for the suggestion! Making a terminology video would be a good idea.
@@TransverseAudio it would be appreciated, not only for chiptune stuff I guess. (I'm mainly interested in the chiptune aspect but) I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that see a synth and are like "okay... There's... A lot of dials... Uh... Where do I start?"
On the end you got loads of plugins and not even know what you really can do withe them. Yes it take some time to learn but hey, you think you'll be a good producer in no time? I don'y think so. Good luck
bro wtf these are great reccomendations
Hey, you're welcome! Thank you for letting me know you appreciate the video.
not one for Mac?
No, unfortunately I can't find any free ones that are good.
So do you have this for Mac?
No, I use Windows.
@@TransverseAudio Thanks
How do you get it to work
And can I use lmms
You should be able to use it with LMMS. Try following this tutorial to install them: ruclips.net/video/6qee2HaRZKQ/видео.html
i fking love this channel
Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying the content I make.
They are all 32 bits VST. Is there any 64 bits Chiptune VSTs?
Hmmm, Magic8Bit may have a 64-bit option but I'm not sure. For some reason, I am thinking PULS has a 64-bit option but I could be wrong.
@@TransverseAudio although it's not free, chipsounds says it supports 64 bits, and standalone demo version works.

Nice, thanks for sharing that one.
someone can send me a link of any of these
??
Link in the description. It goes to all of them.
Can I use this in abelton?
Unfortunately, no. Live only supports 64-bit plugins.
@@TransverseAudio oh Thanks bro! Do u know any plug-in that helps u to
Make sound similar that the plugins in this video?
