I was skeptical of it, so got WRC Generations instead. That was selling for dirt cheap on Steam. But as someone coming from Dirt Rally 2, I'm honestly not enjoying the driving. The physics feels a bit weird tbh. The best way I can describe in game handling in relation to my actual wheel, is that suppose you take a metal rod, hold it upright on one end and try to lower it either side. It lowers exactly as much as you want. That's Dirt rally 2 cars. And now take a rod made of rubber instead! It will follow the direction but is kinda loose and free on the other end. That's what WRC Generations felt like. I was soo excited and then soo disappointed. But now that I have got it, I'mma play it nonetheless.
I know what you mean.. And while WRC23 isn't perfect, it feels much closer to DR2 than Generations since it's made by the same people at Codemasters that made DR2 😉

Love your rally content :D Got a Moza R5 bundle a few weeks ago and it's been a blast to drive RBR, WRC and probably DR2 soon. I found WRC force feedback to be way less informative than in RBR though. In WRC I can't feel the tire flex through the wheel and cutting over a sidewalk feels nowhere near as engaging as in RBR. Do you have any tips on force feedback settings in WRC? Is DR2 similar?

Or something more important at the end your performance dropped and you made some mistakes,with a geardrive would you think it would be worse? Did it got better upgrading to DD+? I used to run a G27 for over 10 years, and while I could drive close to this, it’s impossible to get the same feel. A direct drive wheel is mandatory if you want to have the absolute best force feedback and the same response you would get from an actual car. So while it’s not impossible to drive very well with a gear-driven wheelbase, you won’t have as much fun or enjoy it as much.
