Crafting is fun, you can make nice gloves early on once you start finding flawless and perfect gems. I plan on making some Blood Gloves for my Pally and Hit Power Gloves for my Amazon once I find more time to play.
These new guide videos are simply incredible. As a casual but very dedicated fan of D2 (went to a midnight launch back in the day) there's so much I didn't know about the game. Lots of love for all this effort, Mr. Llama, S.C.
In case someone's already wondering: the affix for blood gloves with +2 to skills = ilvl 40 and +20 increased attack speed = ilvl 43. So if you gamble for heavy gloves to use for crafting after, make sure your character level is at least clvl 44 and 46 respectively. So clvl 46 is what you need to be to craft with the highest chance to get both affixes on your gloves ánd avoid higher affixes (that require higher clvls) to roll. Good luck!
@@JukeboxOddities you have to craft blood gloves, use a level 82 character to gamble and craft sharkskin and vampirebone gloves, heavy gloves are different and tbh not worth crafting anyway.
It's nice to see that someone covers these items. I know them from GOT (good old times...) when I played Diablo 2, and found these on the net, and used them frequently to fill in for items I don't have yet, or roles like the caster items for a magic user. Your regular search for crafting won't show these reciepes, and these can be useful, some of them straight up powerful. Detailed and very informative video! Cheers!
WARNING!!! Before anyone goes and blows all their perfect gems trying to craft a +skiller grand charm. 14:52 This does not work on most grand charms. The grand charm must drop in an area levels of 50 or above. (The Great Marsh on nightmare difficulty or any areas after that). I can literally see someone complaining, But MrLlamaSC said I could do it and it didn't work, rip my life or something to that effect 😂
After years and years of playing Diablo 2, I had no idea that the crafting was this deep lol time to experiment, thanks for the vid!! Loving all the guides

Would love to see a tutorial on areas where elements are particularly more useful to farm. For example, areas for cold sorcs to farm, areas for lightning trap assassins to farm, etc... I remember a video hearing you mention "this is a good place for cold sorcs" and thought it would be useful to know areas like that.
I sometimes crafted safety javelins in the past for my amozons if I started a ladder with that class and needed something intermediate before a Titan's dropped. You only really needed to roll Javelin levels, stack size and attack speed were a bonus.
One day I saw on a random item selling site, which I like to look at every blue moon and all of their crafting packs came with junk facets as the jewel. This started me wondering, so I bought a handful of them to try and craft with... Crafting with facets made the godliest items I've ever made or even came close to making.. rare jewels don't seem to be any different from magic ones but there's something about facets that makes them easily the best possible jewels to craft with
Nice Video, as always. For all people that have PC crashes: Set your frame rate to 60 or even 50 and all graphics to low Level. That solved it for me. I can finally play it.
Blood helm as temporary/budget option for merc helm slot? Just a thought. Theoretically, can you socket quest a crafted e.g. blood helm and shove e.g. more life leech and resistances in the sockets?
It works, but there aren't any socketable items that give life leech. Not even jewels can give life leech. And the base amount of life leech on blood helms is not high enough for it to be worth it. You want at least 6% imo, which you can pretty much only get from circlets. RARE circlets can also spawn with 30% faster run/walk at the same time, which is really good for act 2 mercs, particularly if you're a necro since the skeletons block the path of your merc, so increased movement speed will make him get stuck behind your skeletons less often.
Is this info somewhere in the Diablo wiki? Or, has it been brought together somewhere that we could print from? I could easily see myself with a three ring binder of how the cube is used.
Hello. my name is Raven. i watch a lot of ginger's videos. i just wanted to introduce myself. some times i have questions about the game. i am a huge diablo player but i have spent a lot of time not knowing a lot about the game so im here to work on that. Raven
Why would a person want to use 3 perfect gems to reroll a grand charm when they could just do cows to farm some more? Does it have a higher chance to have better stats or something?
Watching in 2x speed faster cast rate starts to sound like faster castrate. 20ish years ago when I first got into crafting (blood rings mostly), I was looking to trade for 40 rubies/sol runes ect. since that seemed to be the common amount. It took my first trade to realize that the number was set at 40 because that is the amount of space you have in your inventory. It took me two trips to my stash before being able to clear my inventory enough to complete that first trade. Once for charms, and misc items, but still couldn't complete trade, had to put cube in stash so inventory was completely empty, then could complete the trade. It was an epiphany for me to realize why the amount was set at 40 🤦🤯.
17:48 so if im level 89 crafting caster amulets dropped from a terror zone(lvl 91) then im good cause the formula will give me an ilvl of exactly 90 right?

You don't need to prioritize defense on a caster, you're going to be running the vast majority of the time which lowers your defense to 0 anyway. If you have double spirit you're probably doing so much damage from the +skills alone that you'll be fine.
