Lake Ann Lower & Lower Curtis Glacier (Mount Shuksan) - First Snow 2023 hike

Two weeks earlier I had climbed Ptarmigan Ridge on Mt. Baker at a cozy 20C (68F). What a difference - this hike up to Lake Anne and the Lower Curtis Glacier below Mt. Shuksan (2783 m / 9131 ft) in the first snow was extra spectacular. Not a soul around, stunning views, and great company. Let it snow, and the ski season begin!
