The fact that Kurama made it this far speaks volumes about his potential. We saw a taste of his power pre-pandemic at Frostbite, and a hearty dose here at the Ludwig Invitational. I can't wait to see what he'll do in the future!
One thing I think merits more attention in this set is how well Acola was on defense. He was using s mix o DI and SDI to make sure that it was always as hard as possible for Kurama to actually finish his combos, many times he'd usually get a dair or up b as a finisher ended with him just needing to reset because Acola was doing so well on defense, kid definitely did his homework
Acola seems like such a hard working, humble and very intelligent player, he deserved this win but I'm SO glad that Kurama/Prodigy got in. Show these guys that there are still hidden bosses out here!
I think Kurama did a pretty good job but Acola is on another level. But the pop off from Acola shows that it was not easy at all for him to beat Kurama!

There's also a lot of non-covid sickness you don't want to get exposed to as a professional performer, and on a huge event like this with people from all over the world you likely won't have antibodies for most of the strains.
