Three straight defeats and 3 points from 6 leaves Pompey in the bottom 2 of the championship,
but this one was possibly the hardest to take.
Portsmouth where the better team in the first half, and restricted their hosts to half chances in the 2nd.
But one mistake and Burnley punished us, as good teams do.
Plenty of positives to take, we'll look at them and ask, can we turn it around?

Thanks for the mention. Fair summary of the game. This week I am going for a win to Pompey 3-2. No thats not a joke. Dan will probably go for a 5-0 defeat with Ritchie a non starter, Norris bringing on his sleeping bag and JM making 11 changes at thr 70 minute mark. I am not that cruel. PUP.

I've just listened to JM interview and he was asked about some injuries. He couldn't remember Yengi's name and dismissed him very quickly. Yengi on his way out in January?

Late goals happen because players are tired. Portsmouth players did a lot of hard graft and couldn't keep it up.

@TheIng123 this late goal happened due to a back heel from a player who'd been on the pitch for less than 30 mins. None of the 'tired' players put a foot wrong IMO
