Great open share! Soo kind of you. Thank you.
My little share, maybe others have experienced this: rice water I think is great (used for decades etc.) however it 'may' also cause a bit o' damage if not done correctly.
I really took note of your message about checking pH levels.
    Thank you! 😊

Thanks for this... was planning on doing that mhm... I didn't really like the look of hair for some reasons. I would still want my hair woolly for some reasons and also healthy and easier to comb through it. Don't want my hair looking all flat, single strands and coily.. want my hair rather bouncy, full and coily. I just thank God for saving me from this... just want to grow healthy hair...

I use to do it once a week and 6 months later my hair was DRY and raggedy and no length to show for it. ...but it wouldn't really show because the curls were still clamping together. I def don't recommend and now I know why.

This was very informative I was looking at the maximum hydration method because my hair is so tangled especially my roots. I don’t even understand how people do their wash days or extra dry hair but they can still part it to the roots my hair does not do that I have a Lot of “webbing” my hair is fine and so I have to be extremely gentle with it and my wash days take forever. So I thought would be the answer. So I guess back to the drawing board. Any clue to what can help? I sleep with a silk scarf. I’m low porosity and deep condition with heat at least twice a week I follow green beauty and curly proverbs who both are more about natural products and health over length. Not sure what else to do.

It’s the fine hair strands sis! I deal with it too but keeping my hair constantly stretched helps a lot with the tangles. Wash and go’s are a no on fine hair, the detangling is a nightmare.

      Look at blackgirlcurls on Instagram
They are trained stylist who have a lot of people with their hair. Through no oils, butter more hydration method.

Ok so I have extremely frizzy hair.. my hair is type 3 but it’s so freaking frizzy man you can’t even tell what texture or curl it’s supposed to be 🥴

My hair was like that! Took some time but I've slowly kinda got the hang of it. Some days it's still frizzy but it's because I lose so much moisture

Is there a safe way to do the maximum hydration method then?

      Jordan Jackson
      1) clarify with clarifying shampoo rather than baking soda (which is just too harsh) or use diluted acv
      2) deep condition
      3) Clay mask but mix with acv and not water to balance the ph of the clay

Don’t do it consistently for 3yrs. I would just consider just omitting or replacing the baking soda in all of the recipes. And if the clay recipe says to add vinegar. Add vinegar please.

Any license cosmetologists could have explain this as well. That's why people shouldn't give up their real cosmetologists for RUclipsrs. 🤷🏿‍♀️
