    Alessandro, I absolutely love this intensive style of planting. I can't believe how much you have achieved in such a short time. So productive. You are right that we need these green spaces in urban environments. I have just watched a video of Monty Don in Japan, talking about how this is encouraged there. Thank you for sharing your new allotment - it's beautiful! 🌼

    Love it- I’ve been gardening for 10 months now, and my goal this upcoming season is to grow a massive amount of flowers. I’m dedicating 600sqft to natives + flowers. I also have marigold/nasturtiums in our beds as well.

    Thats an amazing development for 6months. Will checkout his channel too. Hopefully the council don't close the allotment to build on. When will they learn urban areas need greenspaces for balance - for people as well as flora and fauna.

    Can really recommend small poly tunnel, mine is 9 x 5 mainly because that's what I could scrounge from my shed but also the garden is not that big. It has been quite productive given we didn't plant anything until June and it is still going in it's own little way in January. Looking forward to April/May to get things going again 🙂

    Ah this is just the style of allotment I love. Im curious about digging dowm and the risk of creating little ponds but then Im on clay and we have had a lot a lot of rain here.

    Nasturtiums actually can be a great addition to ferments, as well ! Flowers or leaves ( the seed pods too ?). Beautiful garden, hello from western Wisconsin, USA !

    This is so inspiring.
    I really need to find a way to maximise my space. I love pumpkins and squash, so would love to see how I can grow vertical safely! Any ideas?!

      there is a video from 2021 in Huw‘s „Inspiring Gardens“ Playlist called „Beautiful No Dig Permaculture Kitchen Garden“, that features a squash-structure with a counterweight to help balance the whole thing. There is also an interesting looking bean rack in there that you might or might not be able to adapt to squashes.

      My squash loved to grow on my fences! It just takes a soft sling to support the heavier ones.

    Dream vegetable garden, 6 months and has it all. I see you planted yellow chrysanthemums among them. I bought seeds but for some reason, when I planted them, they didn't germinate. Can you share a little about how to grow yellow chrysanthemums and how to plant seeds?

      Inoculate it with Winecap mushrooms! It gives a second harvest in the same space and boosts soil health.
