25:10 You're not dragging on, sir... This was a passion project and you did an amazing job with her. You deserve to show her off. Safe travels!
Thanks Ryan!
I have to say based on all the projects I have seen Dan work on, this is probably one of the best built vintage trailers out there, if your in the market this is the one to buy! Believe me if you buy a new one it will have to have more work done on it than this one! I am sure you guys are sad to see it go but having additional space has to be nice!
Thank you! Yea, already tearing into the brand new trailer to make changes and even some repairs 😂 I can't have nice things. RV Life just requires you to do re-pairs. The more you use it, the more you travel, the more re-pairs it needs. Thats just living on the road.
When you say its not perfect, yes she is, its called Character! Remember that! My mini Travel Trailer has a lot of Character! I hope you find someone that truly appreciates it!
Character, I love that. She has a lot then! Yes, I hope we find her a good home.
Wow Fabulous
Thanks!
A work of art for sale.
Thanks man!
@@HomeMeetsRoad No other RV is a 1 of kind work of art like this RV.... This Rv has a documented history, from start to finish. And its a custom 1 off, you'll never see again. It's pretty awesome, what you've accomplished
You can tell this was a labor of love.
Thank you!!!
It has been a cool 2-1/2 years of following you with this trailer. 1,400lbs tongue weight! OUCH!
I hope you are able to sell it soon. I have a feeling that $20,000.00 you are taking a loss - but it is an awesome trailer.
Happy trails and enjoy the new RV.
I was surprised on the tongue weight as well. I had the jack high on the scale so that I could connect the truck quickly but its a bit high. I went on the scale a minute later with the truck and the sway controller, and the weight did shift by over 300 lbs so I don't think its that high, but it is over 1k. Yes, I am taking a massive loss. We have over $50k in materials in her. The solar system alone is almost $10k. Heck the custom axles and wheels are almost $5k.
I just saw your trailer and am a Fan you did a very well done great job restoring it and making it your own
Thank you!
I have an almost pristine HR from 78. seeing all this work, done to a very high standard, forces the question "do i want to replicate this effort on mine, only to sell at a later date? or sell now and allow another the very same pleasures you had in building yours.
verey nice work and best to you and your family
If your vintage is pristine, I’d leave it and sell it as is. Most likely it will be worth more.
@@HomeMeetsRoad
yes all true. i must clarify that the platform is near perfect, as is always the case HR. have a problem with the house is settling and the floor is giving way.
i should say ideal trailer to restore. the important siding frame and so on are a perfect ten.
and it had been gutted when it came to me
Amazing build !!! And love them windows wish I had the money to get she is beautiful!! Amazing video and descriptions
Thank you! We hope she goes to a good home.
If I could only talk my hubby into living off grid & city-free but I'm not that great of a sales person, unfortunately. 😕 BTW, love the schematic.
It took us a couple of months to really make the decision. It’s not an easy one to make. Keep hinting 😂
@@HomeMeetsRoad I'll try! 😊
Lots of upgrades! She would be ideal for what I'm looking for when I retire... but I'm west of the Tetons...
That’s far! We are heading to the PNW after she is sold. Should be there all summer.
I'm going to miss seeing her in the vids.
Yea, part of me will miss her as well but it is time to move on for us.
It looks amazing! My question: you mention Michelin Tires - you are not the only ones running them! Better than Endurance Trailer Tires?
In my opinion yes but take that with a grain of salt. Watch the beginning of this video. That’s the day I knew these were good tires!

Congratulations on your new Rig, where are you listing the sale?
Thanks! Currently just using social media to list the sale. We posted in some of the local groups here in TX. Hoping that we do not have to 'deliver' her far.
Hi there, I see you have a fan temp controller in the front of the trailer. May I ask what brand it is?
Pioneer
Even tho it's being glamped many parks won't let it in. This glamp fad is mainly for wannabes. Majority live in trailer parks and hibernate.
Will never get one loaded with solar. Like the propane & gas generator. Like actual camping & being outdoors.
You are right. It will take a special someone to take her on. Honestly, we like RV Parks. Its nice to have hookups but I have needed our solar, batteries, and even generator more in RV Parks than while boondocking. It is crazy on how often RV Parks loose power, even water.
@@HomeMeetsRoad is it still for sale? What is the length? Where is it located? What is the price?
@@seanbolger7104 it is sold.
What's with the 5 🕠clocks? An amazing proposition for the right buyer!
Our business is in AZ and AZ does not have daylight savings so it switches a lot. We travel so fast that sometimes it’s hard to knolls the time difference. We move the golden clock to signify which time zone we are in.
