@@c.ifishingguernsey no mate, Belfast, we have to drive down south a bit for the bass there are few if any on the north east coast of our wee country. unfortunately.
Great video buddy, thoroughly enjoyed it. That's my go-to lure too (Frosty). Surface fishing is always more exciting for Bass using them. Caught a Pollock on it last week which was a little strange.
@@c.ifishingguernsey Strange times mate if the Pollock are taking surface lures 😂 Just a quick one, when the surface gets a little choppy switch to a normal Patch. The frosty can get a little lost in the chop.
@@c.ifishingguernsey Seen them but can't justify the price just yet. They look so simple and would be quite easy to replicate at home. Not so easy to replicate a Patch or Frosty.
Hey Brendan, nice videos. I was in Guernsey over the summer and explored the whole west coast and stumbled upon a cracking spot that always produced. The first ever time I've caught 3 bass in the first 3 casts. Largest 53cm. I can direct you if you like to see if I fluked 😁
@@c.ifishingguernsey . I had quite a few bass in Cobo Bay. Fished the whole area but one spot always produced. Park at the first car park by the shack and toilets. I walked and fished the far left gulley at low tide. There is a small section of beach visible at low tide. You can also go onto the rocks on the left and fish back towards the beach also. Use the steps from the road. Bass seem to hold there for what I assume are ragworm beds. Only lure that worked for me was the savage gear seeker in blue or white.
@@c.ifishingguernsey winter is long cold nights with the surf pounding 😁😁and pulling weed off my big metals every other cast but g great excuse for some new waders👍🎣🎣
