Friday, just got off work, having a whisky and watching a 50 minute Golfbidder challenge. Perfect way to end the week. Oh yes, and I am playing golf Saturday and Sunday. :)
Cant wait for the finale. Honestly the real winner here is the memories you two have created and the obvious camaraderie the both of you have. True friendship at it's best and it's the same as the memories me and my mates have of our rounds.
That last putt by Peter is in. It only bounced out because of the way the cups are. That was in the heart of the hole with great speed. No question he's 3 up
Every year I look forward to this match, more than any other. Showing that high-quality used golf clubs can be purchased for the price of a new driver can really help recruit new players as well as provide an economical option for seasoned veterans to upgrade. Thanks for this series (I have a feeling it'll be back in the rotation someday!)
This is the type of content I would gladly PAY for. If you guys did a golf bidder challenge every month with some sort of theme every time (90s equipment, game improvement sets, pick each others bag, etc) I would gladly pay a subscription fee.

Battle golf, they play match play but once you lose the hole your opponent can take any club they want and use it. Be great to see Pete and Rick take clubs they want to try and give them a go. Also probably create some good reactions.
To the letter of the rule, you are absolutely correct; however, hole also wasn’t regulation being that it was upside down. Have you putted to a hole like that yet? There are def putts that would’ve been holed that do not go down. Such a stickler Prima.

Yes if ball hits flag stick during this period of upside down cups, the ball is considered to have gone into the hole. That's the way the USA is playing.

Local rules trump all but I doubt they would have had a "you can have a shot if you hit the flag rule" the cups were not raised as some other courses might have been :)
