I have set this up on my helmet. The sound is stellar. The speed of activation is excellent. I have no complaints at all. For music and phone calls, and intercom, it is a great device, and it is made for the helmet, which is much nicer than my previous SENA device that is "one size doesn't quite fit all." Nice review. I would recommend this product to anyone.
Good to know. I like the full helmet integration, easy charging, it's all very well thought out. Really can't ask for more. The radio feature on my Sena 20S was never used, don't need that. I've yet to pair with another Sena user, but will soon. Absolutely no downside to this unit in my book.

Hi, thanks for this review. I do have a question regarding the voice command about this system: is it continuously active or does it disconnect, as on the Send 20S, after 1 minute? As a comparison, I do have as well the SRC system from Cardo for my C3 Pro helmet and I just have to blow on the microphone to ask another command, for the music and radio. Regards, Paul
Hey Rui, i cant reply directly to you for some reason..anyway...... Sound wise if my memory serves me correct, id say the new one sounds crisper more clear, and louder..with a touch more bass. If i had to make a choice between the two systems, id go for the nexx system again, despite the fact that the Arai has better build quality, the Nexx is still an amazing helmet, bluetooth setup. cheers.

HI there, iv just bought this for my nexx helmet but the xcom is too small for the recess in the helmet I seem to be missing the plastic surround in the cheek of the helmet that the xcom slots into... was that suppose to come with the com or was it suppose to come with the helmet??thanks
I don’t have this system anymore but if i recall correctly i had similar issues until i either updated the firmware on the x-comm or the OS on my iphone. Im betting its most likely the firmware, try updating it. Let me know what happens! ✊

Here they are: 1º - You talked about the sound in music wasn't that good, i kinda understand that but did you try the diference profiles? - Headset Profile, Hands-Free Profile (HFP), Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP), what do they do? what's the diference ? 2º - Can you attach a Y splitter in order to use the same microphone from the x-com with the go pro? ( this is the one im most interest, both connected to the same mic ) 3º - I've read somewhere that the audio was kinda bad ( nexx x-com has the same speakers from sena 20s ) and the guy " fixed " by ajusting the speakers more properly to he's ears, so it was a human error and not a hardware issue. You think you could suffer from the same thing? 4º - Do you think it works on the Sena GP10 Bluetooth Audio Pack For GoPro, because it could connect 2 bluetooth gadgets at same time and different prioritys ?? 5º - Does nexx or sena have an app for android/iphone for it? ( i think sena have one but cant confirm ) Thanks :D PS: Sorry if i written something wrong, english is only my fourth language

To the best of my knowledge you cannot attach a y-splitter as the xcom mic is hardwired into the main unit. Q3. I did have a fiddle with the speakers initially, just to make sure they are directly over my ears, no near them. So no issue there for me. Q4. I dont know for sure, as ive never tried, I would contact sena direct with that message. Q5. There are some sena apps, but none are compatible with the xd-1, at least there is no mention of it on the app store description. Hope that helps, cheers.
Nope. Connecting BT is THE most frustrating thing. Fitting took me hours but trying to connect has failed after many frustrating hours of off/on/reset/etc. And the Nex/Sena webistes are utterly useless with so many broken links. I'd avoid as it looks great, but with no BT connection, it's useless

Cheers Tom, Nexx really struck gold with this, and also the battery life is exceptional, im getting a full weeks worth of roughly 2 hours a day.

Yeah I believe so, i think the cavity is the same across all nexx helmets.
