Don't be afraid of genshin just because it's "gacha", it's not as bad in genshin as people make it out to be, it's just a stigma because of all the other bad gachas out there; genshin feels like an AAA open-world aRPG title and is amazing for f2p. It has more in common with witcher 3 than with a typical gacha.
The only place where paying gives you advantage is an endgame dungeon that can be replayed every two weeks. It's still doable without spending, just a bit harder and requires more game knowledge. And if you don't do a full dungeon, it doesn't even matter, you can easily do only a part of it and get the most rewards with any characters, as long as they're built; simply because you will have level advantage.
People don't usually pay in genshin for advantage, really. But rather, for new characters, because more characters = more variety in gameplay. It's rare in these games, usually there's terrible powercreep but not in genshin; here even some of the 4 star characters that were released 3 years ago are still meta.
There is a ton of exploration, a lot of lore, fun quests, a cohesive fantasy world where almost everything has an explanation of sorts and makes sense, and there's beautiful music and gorgeous landscapes. Just give it a try some time.

If I may, idk if it was intentional or not, you've cut the begining of some demos with those time codes. Though I guess you did this on purpose to jump into the action, but I don't think it's a good thing, like with Neuvilette's: it's too abrupt and curs down the build-up that gives some early context, as little as it can be then, imo it is integral to the demo.
So, was it some intentional jumps, or clumsy approximations?

Nice reactions. (The longest trailers are for the most important characters, called archons, the shortest are for 4 stars and the rest are for 5 star characters. ) You should try the game. There's no need to spend anything at all so long as you don't mind not getting every character.

Genshin is not just a waifu gotcha game.. this game is actually has a heavy Amount of Stories and Exploration
It's "gacha", not "gotcha"; this word originates from Japan and is a short form of "gachapon", which is a Japanese physical gamba machine with balls with random stuff inside.
Hopefully it isn't a waifu game, half of the characters are children

Fun fact for you, tartaglia is the worst at using a bow and is last regular attack with a bow is just him chucking an arrow. It’s the strongest and farthest the arrow travels

Bro, while is true that gacha games can be predatory, if you have fun playing Genshin mine events, quest and so, you will have enough in-game currency to get characters, so no need to ever open your wallet to play... unless we talk about skins, there a few tho but those are just cosmetics anyways, so yeh, you can play completely free.

I refused to play genshin for a very long time, despite it being recommended to me left and right for almost 2 years. One day last year around April, I was feeling bored and wanted to play a new game. I know I love open world exploration games, I love combat, I love a good story, great visuals, and I need jawdropping music. I remembered genshin is free. I've been addicted for the past 7-8 months. I went from avoiding the game and laughing at people who play it to begging my friends to try it out. It has its flaws, like any other game out there. But man do the pros outweigh them. The game is simply amazing. Has so much to offer. I feel character demos only scratch the surface of it. Genshin will have you immersed the more you play it. Like some other people mentioned, try reacting to the version trailers, maybe the first couple, so if you decide to play the game, you don't spoil too much of the story, unless you don't care too much about spoilers. But I do recommend it!
As a genshin player since 1.1 version, I just realized a lot of genshin characters who always be tired. LOL

the game is fun just expect the game to get very stagnant after ur caught up with story because our producer is stingy asf with rewards and endgame content.

There are 5 types of weapons in Genshin
Sword, Bow, Claymore, Polearm, and Catalyst. Characters can only use 1 weapon type. So if a character is a sword user, you can only put swords on them. There are also 7 playable elements in total. Anemo, Geo, Electro, Dendro, Hydro, Pyro, and Cryo.
There are 7 major nations that represent an element, is known for a specific Ideal, and is based on an IRL country/region.
Mondstadt - Nation of Anemo(wind) and Freedom. Based on Germany/Europe.
Liyue - Nation of Geo(rock) and Contracts. Based on China.
Inazuma - Nation of Electro(electricity) and Eternity. Based on Japan.
Sumeru - Nation of Dendro(grass) and Wisdom. Based on Southeast Asia, the middle east, and Egypt.
Fontaine - Nation of Hydro(water) and Justice. Based on France/Europe.
Natlan - Nation of Pyro(fire) and War. Based on South America and maybe Africa too. (This region is not unlocked yet)
Snezhnaya - Nation of Cryo(ice) and ???. Based on Russia/Slavic countries. (This region is not unlocked yet)
14:35 - Tartaglia (you can call him Childe. Pronounced "Child".) is a Bow user. But he has 2 stances. 1 is ranged, and he uses a bow. 2 is melee - He uses water to form 2 blades for hacking and slashing. He can fuse these blades together to form a spear. He's #11 of a group that are basically set up as antagonists. They're morally grey and have their own goals to achieve. Childe and his co-workers are all very interesting characters.

Honestly, Genshin is my first Gacha Game, and while I do spend a bit to help get new characters and better weapons, I was Free to Play for months and still got new characters. I have tried a few other Gacha games and Genshin is far less pushy with the Gacha mechanics and plenty of people play completely F2P and still get some new characters and clear most of the harder content just fine.
Think of it as a HUGE (and I do mean HUGE, we are soon getting even more area on the Map) open world RPG with some Co-op and regular updates every 6 weeks, fun Events, side Quests, Festivals, and some of the best World Building and Music, and if you want you can chip in to help fund a totally free game that competes with $70 AAA titles.

Would have been nice to see your reaction to her due to her...attributes.😆 Games with a huge cast is not only a common thing in Gacha games but strategy-based RPGs as well long before gacha games became a thing. Whether you should play Genshin depends on how much self control you have since gacha games, in general, thrive on their ability to entice players to spend. You don't need to pay at all to simply progress in the game but it being an action-RPG, it does help to have some gamer skills.

Unless you have a gambaling addition, I would not be too afraid of the gacha aspect. I have never spent a dime and I have some seriously powerful characters. I do not want to spend any money as I am afaid it will make the game too easy. I hope they offer some good merchandise I can get a hold of though. If someone makes a good product, I want to support that somehow.
I'm a free to play player and I have 26 Characters to play with where 5 of them are free and other are I got from grinding.
The game is grinding heavy but the story and the world make it up and the stories aren't half ass but awesome one with care and love.
