*Who is your favourite character in Genshin Impact?*
After watching all of the demos, and editing the entire video revisiting the characters for a second time... here's some of my favourites: Wanderer, Raiden Shogun, Arataki Itto, Yoimiya, Kamisato Ayaka, Kaedehara Kazuha, Eula, Xiao, Zhongli, Mona
I've gotta say, looking back on it; I really enjoyed Wanderer's demo the best!

Yeah, one of my favorite characters is Venti, you know, the green bard with a lyre and a bow, HE is an amazing character full of mystery 🤣🤣
At the moment, two characters: Neuvilette and Capitano. (The first will release next week, and we don't even have a clue if the second will be playable).
My fav are Lyney, Kazuha, wanderer~
Oh this is hard because I have fav chars based on the story and then fav chars on who I play as because there are chars I play that I haven't really interacted with yet in the game and then vice versa, I love a char's personality but I've yet to get them in game (or barely played them) so here's my list-
Fav playable chars- Alhaithem (he'll probably be a fav once I get to Sumeru in the main game or do his story quests, whichever comes first), Fischel (fav bow user), Noelle (she's my tank currently and has a shield).
Fav chars based on story and personality- Lumine (I know she's the player char, but the twins are the most mysterious chars in the game for me personally and I want to know more about them), Diluc (I want him so badly, I am sucker for male tsunderes, btw, he never got a char demo), Xiao (another char I want badly, he's so edgy, but as his demo hinted, there's a dark side to him), Shenhu (I got to try her out in a World Quest and man can I relate to her, yeah I hope to get her too someday), and Yae Miko (she just has this air of mystery about her and knows more than she's letting on).

For Lyney and Lynette, they’re actually twin siblings, though in lore, Lynette was born with a rare gene which is why she has cat ears and a cat tail, but usually they don’t come with a male and female when releasing a character, if anything, whenever a Main DPS character is released, they’ll usually also release a support that is specific to that character, for example Faruzan is actually a dedicated support character for Wanderer
yeah, Catzlyne blood is fairly recessive unless you're a bunch of inbred hicks like Springvale folk, and even then it's not THAT common.
Fun fact; They are currently working on a Genshin Impact anime! It's going to be made by ufotable!!!!! There is a concept trailer/teaser? idk what it'd be called as... you have to check it out too!
P.S. Zhongli is my ULTIMATE FAVORITE CHARACTER right now... though Neuvillette, who is coming out in like... four days? three days? Tuesday I think.... 4.1.... He's a shielder, his c2 (constellations are obtained by getting extra copies of characters) is great for co-op as it gives team members a shield. His shield scales off HP, so its best to build him with 48k+ hp. His c6(max constellation, so seven copies of a character to max out) makes him also a healer, as it heals you from taking damage. C3 and C5 on every character gives their skill and ult extra levels, three to be precise.
I have a triple crowned (talents are leveled up to ten, with ten being a 'crown' because of the crown of insight needed to level them), max level 90, c2 Zhongli that I'm so happy with! ((wouldn't say proud of just yet, but getting there XD))

Just a quick heads up, there will be another character demo coming in a couple of days who is going to be a very important character especially in the story and very much in the games lore, I’d really recommend reacting to it when it comes out!

Love watching people react to Genshin and/or the characters for the first time. Baizhu and Neuvillette are my absolute favorites. Neuvillette's demo drops in a few days but he's already present in game and makes quite the impression.

Earlier when you were talking about the game expanding into an ACTUAL anime, it was confirmed the game will get its own anime
Every character in the game uses one of seven elements (so far, anyway). You can tell which a character uses by the colour of their powers, and usually by a coloured gem that they wear. Some characters don't have them though.
Anemo (Wind) - The teal-y green one.
Geo (Rocks) - Yellow
Electro (Lightning) - Purple
Dendro (Plants) - Bright green
Hydro (Water) - Dark blue
Pyro (Fire) - Duh
Cryo (Ice) - Bright/pale blue
It's highly probable that two other elements will be added to the game by the end, but it's also probable that there will only be one character able to use each of those elements. But I'm personally also holding out hope for a character with no powers whatsoever, because I think that'd be interesting.
I love seeing reactions to Genshin videos, but man, why so many people start with the latest ones? It instantly kills the mood.

Just as a small note, if you haven't noticed already, every character is fighting with an element. There are 7 elements: Anemo, Geo, Electro, Dendro, Hydro, Pyro and Cryo
I seriously don't get how people keep mistaking Venti as a girl even after hearing his voice. It's quite obvious that it's a male voice, at least for me it is. I understand if they got confuse watching the jp dub but the en one is just too obvious. Makes me wondering do they even know what a girl voice sounded like😂No offense to the reactor

But yeah, I agree, to me Venti just sounds androgynous but since I played the game before watching any trailers, I saw that he was a guy simply because Paimon literally asks the Traveler what that guy is doing in the first scene we see Venti

I remember when i first started playing genshin, when i i first saw venti with dvalin i was like "wooah, is that a fkin dragon?!!and who the heck is that dude....is he some kind of dragon tamer?!". The dialogue from Paimon just confirms my suspicion.

Don’t worry about pronouncing the names of the characters correctly the first time. Until the trailers come out the entire community is guessing what the correct pronunciation is.
sometimes even that doesn't help, because the game itself doesn't use the correct pronunciation *cough* TartaGlia *cough*

@@alexgainsborough4921That’s because it’s a phonetic mess. Sometimes the roots have a Greek origin, sometimes it’s Latin, sometimes it’s Gaelic, sometimes it’s French, etc. Sometimes the root’s pronunciation is different from how it was originally said because the accents got all mixed up.

Even native speakers from birth, do not know how to read what is written in English: a perfect example is AVGN: there were many times when he saw the name of the game and said: “How is it pronounced???” - and gave three or four pronunciation options.
There are letters in the language, their combinations that give certain sounds, there are - but it is impossible to write and read correctly...

Each character has one of 7 elements that can react with each other to deal bonus dmg, Lynnette used air, and Lynne’s uses fire. So it will swirl the fire in. The air to deal bonus fire dmg and put more fire around enemies

Genshin 100% makes enough to have an anime and they are working on one. It might still be a while until we get it. They do have a two short anime style trailers you could watch if you were interested though.
Trailer wise, Wanderer and Nahida can't be beaten but my favourite characters are Lyney and Venti
Re: Shenhe's trailer, the other character there is named Chongyun and he has a condition that basically means he has an abundance of "yang" energy which is usually considered to be hot so he keeps popsicles to keep a lid on it. He and Shenhe are from the same family/clan of exorcists. She's an only child so she's not his aunt in the sense of being the sister of one of his parents but more like an older extended relation.
Oh yeah, and my favorite character is Kazuha. :)

As for a favorite character, thats really hard to decide. Kazhua and Xiao are two of my 5* favorites, then Razor, Benny, and Chongyun are top three for my 4* favorites (they dont have their own demos but Chongyun was the boy in Shenhe's)

The thing about this game is that the story surrounds the adventures all over the world of Teyvat by the Traveler and you get to choose between a male(Aether) or female(Lumine) and each character has what’s called a vision which allows them to use any element and they are Anemo, Geo, Electro, Dendro, Hydro, Pyro, and Cryo. They also use different weapons, swords, polearms, bows, claymores, and catalysts. Right now, there’s 5 areas with two more on the way and the current areas are Monstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine. The two that aren’t released yet are Natlan and Schneznaya. Each area has an Archon, or god, of the element of that area, Venti is the Anemo Archon, Zhongli is the Geo Archon, Raiden Shogun is the Electro Archon, Nahida is the Dendro Archon, the Hydro Archon is named Furina, and the Pyro and Cryo Archons have not been released yet. My favorites are Raiden Shogun and Ayaka and they’re on my main team along with Zhongli and Kokomi

In genshin, playable characters have 'visions'. You saw a green thingy on Kaveh's butt? Itto also mentioned his vision. They are trinkets filled with elemental energy, granted by the Gods to people with big ambitions.
There are 7 elements in genshin;
Anemo - a.k.a. wind
Cryo - a.k.a. ice
Pyro - a.k.a. fire
Dendro - a.k.a. nature/plants
Geo - a.k.a. stone
Electro - well, electricity
Hydro - a.k.a. water.
There are also 5 weapon types;
Sword
Bow
Spear
Claymore
and Catalyst (Like a magic book or similar)

A person control one element depending on the symbol and color. They are giving to them by the gods as a was to tell them they are being favored
you can play it on PC and Playstation as well. Wouldn't recommend a whole playthrough on phone. Most players use phone only to do dailies.
Also, my fav characters are yelan and wanderer gameplay wise and albedo and zhongli story wise.

@@midnashadow8439 i never said you can't play on phone. It's just experience is not really the same. I am just gonna name two specific things that are not on phone, sand physics and school of fishes. Plus a lot of stuff from open world is also removed from phone. Simply teleport to purplish bluish forest region with huge glowing mushrooms area and look at grass and plants around road on both pc and phone to understand the difference.
Genshin for sure is the best thing you can get on your phone but PC and playstation is where it excels as.
@@Verticyyou can play in all devices using the same account too, so if you play on a PC then you have to go out for a few days and can't use your PC, you can still continue your game progress using your phone. Very convenient.

There's currently 74(if I remember correctly) playable characters including the two new upcoming characters, Neuvillette and Wriothesly (their character demos are also coming soon as they are released on version 4.1). Some older characters doesn't have a character demo, Aether/Lumine (MC), Lisa, Barbara, Amber, Razor, Noelle, Bennett, Sucrose, Diluc, Jean, Chongyun, Xingqiu, Beidou, Ningguang, etc. I don't really know why they don't have it but, in my speculation, it might be because they are characters released on the launch day of the game. Character demo might've been a new way of Mihoyo/Hoyoverse for showing new characters' skills. It might've been deviced as a marketing strategy when 1.1 came.
There are 5 weapons used in the game and other weapons that you will see used by characters will be categorized as one of the 5 weapons. There is Sword, Claymore (the bigger and heavier sword), Polearm (the spear and other spear-like weapons), Bow, and Catalyst (books and/or wand-like weapons used by people to release their magical power).
a few characters from release still had demos, but not all. And many early demos mostly show off team comps and reactions rather than just hyping up one character.
Though I think some of the new ones end up a bit too much flash and no substance, like Dehya, who has a great presence in the main story, i great story teaser trailer, and then her actual trailer is just two minutes of punching? At least the olld all-combat trailers actually showed what the character did more or less.

They actually are working on a show, and have a manga they pre released on webtoon back in 2017 to have people start wondering what genshin was. Genshins been in the works for a long time lol

Some of those characters are the deities ( god / goddess ) of the Genshin world. Although they are indeed strong and looks cool, their personality leave much to desire. They even becoming geshin meme.

They announced at the second anniversary livestream that Genshin is getting an anime by ufotable, but we haven't heard anything about it since.
out of all the amazing characters I mist say that Itto, Cyno and now also Neuvilette the newest character are my absolute favorits 💙 also- till this day I wonder what made Zhongli think that givin Itto a vision was a good idea like he went and created his own gang 💀😂❤️
