@ you couldn't feed other people knowledge if they are so truthful to their own. Some of the people don't like innovation. They don't like changing. Mostly this type of people is the oldest people with different understanding to their surrounding. And this kind of people, their ego or pride is so high that theres no one would break it.

No money can buy my home... When I was 18 hrs old a wonderful stranger donated me a vacant house that he had sitting for a while..in pennsylvania . Me and my dad started fixing it and 5 yrs later that house became my home sweet home . I'm 38 yrs old now and I thank God for blessing me with a home where I have found peace and the greatest neighbors I've ever had.
To my wonderful stranger mr. Carl D. Schllicter thank you for putting a roof on my head and you are an angel from heaven above...your kindness is worth more than silver and gold.

I miss the dramatic conflick that developed at the beginning of the 20th century in front of Amsterdam station. Two 18th century houses whose owners refused to leave in 1910 due to the construction of the Victorya hotel. It is a famous tourist attraction ... it has a bestseller written about it that has been made into a movie.

In some cases states and towns use eminent domain to take property.

@@ikutiap5923 why the question mark? States have a right to use eminent domain if the bottom line means profits for the big corporations. NY is notorious for this bs.

13:35 #3 Might want to fact check this one lol. The owner didn't have to pack anything as the building was empty, no one lived in there, its been empty since the owner bought it, the owner bought it in 2013 with plans to fix it up.

There’s a farm in Yorkshire right smack in the middle of the major freeway. A good film to watch is the one about a woman who bought a pink cottage and was forced out, as well as the people around her. It’s a true story and very alarming how the government can force you out if they think the land can be better used. Can’t recall the name of it!

It the U.S. it's called eminent domain. Your property can be taken for the betterment of the city, state, etc...for 'fair market value' .

In Amsterdam, in 1890 the Victoria Hotel was build. The building is designed around two older properties (from the 17the century) Nos. 45 - 47 Prins Hendrikkade, that the hotel was unable to purchase owing to high prices.[3] This idiosyncrasy was explored in the book and subsequent film Publieke werken (Public Works). The film is also known as A Noble Intention (2015).

the government can throw you out especially if it's considered a reasonable reason like to build a school or hospital or a highway tbh they can throw you out and give you less money than before where you had an option to move and be happy ik stuff holds memories but you can't hold them forever sometimes it best to just let go because sometimes that is what's dragging you down from being successful
