    Thank you so much. A Kumihimo kit was bought for me, lovely present, but I spent a very long time trying to work my memory (as I have done this once before) but couldn't work it out from the book which had come with the gift! An absolute lifesaver and your videos are so simple and accessible!

    Excellent tutorial, thank you! The method you show us with a thin cord tied tightly around the end of the braid seems to be the best and strongest way to secure the braid before glueing, I have been studying a few different ways of finishing and this looks like the most secure. Also using a chain to make the bracelet (or necklace) adjustable is brilliant! Thank you again!

    I just purchased the basic Kumihimo starter kit. This video tutorial is the best that I learn by watching. Crafty Lisa ...you are very good and I will learn by you.

    thanks for this tutorial i liked it and would like get in to kumihimo bracelet make and i was wondering if you could make a series of videos on this form beginner to advanced and show other designs i would be grate full thanks

    Hi Lisa, thank you for this video, I was just wondering if you could advise at to what mm rattail cord you used? I’m looking into trying this for myself and wasn’t sure what size to use? Can you advise please? Thank you!

      Hi Lauren, it's 2mm in this case, but 1.5mm and 3mm look good too. Hope this helps? Xx

      Hi Joanne, yes you can make them out of anything you like, really thin cord, wire, leather anything you like really! Xx
