I am a Lexus fan and I bought a 2006 Lexus LS 430 and within the first month I had spent over $5000.00 on needed repairs but now it drives like a new car and actually better than any previous car I have owned in my 78 years of living. I know you have a great car that will make a great everyday driver. I have owned Ford, Chevrolet, Buick, Mazda, Subaru, Nissan, and Toyota. This is my first and probably last Lexus unless it will not outlast me. I believe the car will be doing fine in 10 years but will I still be doing fine at 88???
I’m a huge fan of Lexus, I would definitely buy another. That thing will run forever if you keep treating it like that. I would buy the Lexus/Toyota oil filter and put the exact oil the dealership uses, but that is just my preference.
Owning this car for two months. I have no complaints with this car. This car runs! When I did the oil change, it was last minute so I got what I could get at the moment. But I agree with the oil filter ima use the oem oil filter next time. But Castro oil is good, I used it in all my cars no problems. Thanks for watching bro 💯💯
I’ve been offered to buy a 98 Ls 1 owner with 230k miles on it. I previously didn’t know much about the car after doing my research I know that I want it even more
Great video. I rescued a 99 LS400. It has proven to be worthy of investing more money. I do have some gas fume smell in the car. Do you think its the evap system?
@@DevonDavies-p7fThe second generation of the LS400 engine is a interference engine, so if the belt dies while the engine is running, the engine will blow
This was years ago, however. also believe going to the stealer ship was the best choice. until when took my GS400 in for servicing, I went to the stealer ship about my hid headlights, I also received a loaner car, when they were done checkout my car, they stated I needed to change the whole headlight assembly at $4,350.00. That same day went to local shop. and they changed the bulbs and the headlights worked with no issues. I spend $150.00. just to replace the bulbs
You definitely gotta watch out because they do recommend stuff that the car doesn’t need. I used to work for two dealerships and they be doing that. That’s why I’ll question them and sometimes if it sounds funny I’ll get a second opinion. But I’m glad you didn’t spend that 4K. Thanks for watching bro 💯💯
I had went to O‘Reilly and bought the brake pads because I needed them bad but I plan on replacing all the brakes very soon. But good looking on the advance auto bro 💯💯
My money is tight. It's smaller things like fixing brake pads, or vacuum leaks, etc. That i will go to my mechanic for. For big repairs, like the timing belt, etc. Will I take my 93 LS400 to the dealer, (hoping my shitty wage slave job blesses me with the funds) to get it done at the dealer. Having warranty on the timing belt, or evap system, etc. is something you would be thankful to have should it fail.
Man! I wish this car still had warranty. 😂😂 I did not wanna spend that money but I need the car to run and I need it to be reliable. Just continue to save bro and whenever you can take care of it, go. But don’t stress it. Thanks for watching bro 💯💯
Haters always gonna hate. And thats why theres soo many busted up piece of shit LS’s out there. Get what you pay for. Good on you for keeping that beautiful car on the road proper.
Worth every penny! I appreciate your honesty and content. Thank you! Good Day!
No problem! Thanks for watching bro 💯💯
Worth every penny even if u have 10k in it way ahead of what a new car will cost & last & no. Ae payments!

The most reliable V8 you can get! Just make sure it was maintained properly and you won’t have too many problems with it. Thanks for watching bro 💯💯
Congrats, it’s so clean. Enjoy it!
Thanks bro 💯💯

Your car is good! You took care of maintenance. It's your car do you. It cost to be the boss. You chose the right car. Can't go wrong with Lexus
Thanks bro! It definitely costs 😂😂 but it’s all worth it because the car drives good. Appreciate your support bro 💯💯
The only thing I worried about was the timing belt kit and starter both went out in a week🤣 on my 98 was the water pump and my 00 was the starter
Dang that sucks. I kept on hearing about the timing belt when I bought this car. So I instantly did mines. Thanks for watching bro 💯💯
Did you have to get tge engine replaced because people always be tripping about that when the timing belt brakes
@@DevonDavies-p7f no it was the water pump

Also, you can go to Advance Auto to get your brake pads. The work just as well as the oem from Lexus

Yo Brodie how much was the timing belt replacement alone? I’m from the bay too and just coped a 95 ls400
It’s $1,700 by itself.
Mannnnnnnn you're so lucky! Your car is amazing
Thanks bro! 💯💯
What’s the tint on each window? Figured to tint my ls460 and want it to look clean like this.
20% all around. 35% on the windshield
Um have you had to get the engine or transmission replaced or just regular maintenance?
So you got a very well sorted LS400 for 5 stacks? That seems like a great deal.
$2500
@@CarAdventuresWithReg I mean what you paid for it plus the repairs combined.
💯…✔️
Appreciate the support bro 💯💯
