I feel Bubbie is massively underated, he's been getting way better and getting his game figured out especially when compared to 12-18 months ago. If he can get his wedge/chipping game dialed to where he doesnt need to waste a stroke using the Ol' texas wedge He'd be absolutely killing it.
Exactly he used to be at like Steve’s level, now he’s closer to Matt, sometimes even better.

It all has to do with elevation and humidity in the air. If you're playing at a higher elevation shorter clubs become exponentially longer. Living in Florida my 8 iron goes 150 but if I play in north Georgia my 8 iron goes 180. It's a fun but different game at higher elevations. Not discrediting Garrett though. A 200 yd 8 iron is insanely impressive!

@@setme31 I get the elevation aspect of it, but either way, an 8 iron flying 215 yards is absurd.
The midwest is not particularly high in elevation. You're looking at hundreds of feet above sea level, not thousands. Maybe add a couple of yards based of the rule of thumb where you can expect about 2.5 yard distance increase per thousand yards of elevation.

Game idea: If playing a 1v1 or even 2v2 scramble your opposing team caddies for you (picks club, lines you up, says which shot shape.) The caddies that get their player to the best score win.
