Poker is 5 cards... they played 5 holes... EVERYONE is supposed to get a card each hole. You don't play Texas Holdem, you just play regular poker 🤦♂️

In the future, you should reveal the flop after 2 holes. Reveal the turn after 2 more holes, and reveal the River after hole 6. Think that would bring more strategy in
They came with a great concept, but it was painfully clear how little thought was put into how it would play out once they started.

I agree. Taking the jack when it was already covered by the king in Garret's hand was definitely the wrong move. They both should have duffed into the bunker in the playoff.

Tip for Bubbie: You don’t want QJ vs KJ, then you would only have one live card. In theory you would want Q9 so you at least have two live cards you can hit🤝

What about a straight?
@@Chrissppy definitely possible but poker is so random when determining your odds pre-flop having two live cards mathematically gives you a higher percentage chance to have the winning hand compared to hoping for a straight which is a very low percentage chance. Two live cards = 5 chances (flop, river, turn) at hitting one of your 6 cards to make a pair vs hoping 3/5 cards that come make you a straight. This is why when you have a straight or a flush draw you have more “equity” (higher percentage chance to win) because the number of cards that can come and you win increases.
Trouble is, usually you don’t know all the cards and have to guess!

Another variation a lot of bowling leagues use is that say you get a birdie you get to draw 2 cards, eagle draw 3, par draw 1, chip in draw 1, etc. And you try to build you own best 5 card hand, if you already have 5 you get to still draw and replace if you want. This rewards good play but also is down to the luck of the cards.
This was the most entertaining thing I have watch from your guys, please do more of this!

Hey guys, love the video. An idea for you guys, start with the flop dealt. That way when you are gaining cards each hole, you have a target to shoot for and all teams would try each hole.

You guys could change the rules to the following to keep each group playing:
- If you win the round, you can either choose the card you want, or you can give a card of your choice to another group.
- if the group already has their two cards, they can continue to play and give a card of their choice to another group if they win the round.
This way, every group keeps playing, and you don’t have the issue of a team not wanting to choose a crappy card.

Love that you guys are coming up with these new ideas!! As a poker player, maybe you do a Reverse Holdem Poker game. The winners of each hole must gain a good advantage. So, 3 or 4 holes, before hole 1, show the flop and show the five cards the winners get to choose from. On each hole won, allow the players to always pick from 5 cards. On hole 2, show a turn card. By doing this, the players really get to go after the cards they want to draw towards. Making every hole something they want to win.

I think you guys should show the flop before the match. Then the winners can choose cards with an advantage of knowing the first 3 to flip. Then do the turn and river at end. Awesome video guys. Living the dream fellas.
