  • Gotta take a road trip to Tucson to pick up an all aluminum LS from Richie, and Oscar is not quite up to the job yet. So, we need to fix him first and then hit the raod to see one sick 78 Fairmont.

I used to work with Richie, AKA Dick Hamm. We're both former F-16 wrench turners with the Arizona Air National Guard. He's a good guy and the resident expert on LS swaps into Fairmonts!

Lotta projects Art.. But inch by inch they're all getting done.. Yeah I think Oscar deserves to be able to kick his heels up a bit, make him more of a pleasure to drive.

PS gear box on my dent side is $750, when I priced it I thought the guy was messing with me. I carry fluid behind the seat instead. Fairmont is awesome.

Ah man, my dream car is a 64 Chevelle. The year I came into this world. LS swap on an SS car? 😵‍💫 I am doing an LS swap on my 66 ElCamino, that i lovingly refer to as the LSCamino. Can't wait to see what you do with that Fox Body 👍

Nice! That Camino sounds like it's going to be a blast. I much prefer the late sixties el Camino's over any other generation.
