- Spinosaurus was a well-loved dinosaur when it made its appearance in Jurassic Park 3 so it makes sense that everyone is asking whether or not it’s still alive. It was classified as an Illegal Species judging from what Sam Neil’s character alan grant said in Jurassic Park 3 that the dinosaurs made on Isla Sorna in that lab they discovered had not been on ingens list. Further proof of the old Spino being an illegally bred species is news that was released on the Dinosaur protection group website.

They shouldn't bring it back with any indication, trailer or TV spot .
If it is a surprise and they do explain how it survived in a subtle way, it would be an awesome surprise while watching the movie. In the end that's what's best for us, a good movie.
I feel they will show an inferred glimpse of the spino, possible past the end credits seeing how everyone can do that now.

I hope the Spinosaurus is either excluded or not a major focus. I never understood why a 15 second fight is still making people upset. Move on. We don't need a rematch. I would prefer different dinosaurs altogether which, thankfully it looks like we are.

The spino in JP3 was only 46 feet in length i think it said. It is very possible the spino was still growing that of the I rex. Spino max length they said was 49 feet, and they like to make dinos bigger than they are. Note dinosaurs actually keep growing until they die, the older the larger. Sue, one of the oldest Rexes is the largest in rw.
Plus, during the events of JP3, the Spino was only three years old, it may still have had plenty of growing to do.

I'm a T.Rex fan but I don't hate the Spinosaurus , Why would I ? it's just an animal. I hate most of the Spnosaurus's fans because they are idiots. That movie scene can never happen in real life because if the movie fight were realistic , Spinosaurus would be dead after the first T.Rex bite. But most of the Spinosaurus fans still think that the Spinosaurus is the strongest carnivore , dude it's jaws were useless in battle and it's claws can't even reach the T.Rex so it can't use it's claws either. But I love the Spinosaurus it's a cool looking unique dinosaur.

The indominus was maxed at 50 ft as stated by dr wu and you should take in factor that the spino in jp3 was only 3 yrs old and was at 43 feet 9 inches and the spino in jp3 would be clearly bigger then it’s real life counter part as it was a hyper aggressive hybrid

Man Spino was my favorite. Let’s be real there’s only a few ways his involvement in JW:FK could go down:
1.he is given a throwaway line.(just any line confirming that he’s dead I think that this is the most likely the result because the dpg barley having any info on him)
2.He shows up and gets his tail handed to him immediately to please the Rex fanboys. (Don’t get me wrong I like Rexy but after people got upset at jp3 they’ll have him win every fight. If they do this right like has a huge fight that rexy barely wins, or spino retreats and escapes.)
3.They’ll save him for a end credit scene.(Like you see the sail pop out of the water and swim away from the remains of the island)
4.he has no involvement what so ever.

I think the T. rex that fought the spinosaurus in jp3 was the infant tyrannosaurus in jp2.so that probably means it was like a teenager and didn’t have any fighting experience.it was probably a scavenger.

trex from jp3 is actually adult according to the jp3 script, director etc. they used the same animatronics trex from the lost world to put in jp3 but they changed it to a different color and it's still remaining adult trex. juvenile Rex or subadult Rex is a fan theory.

Hey guys I know this is dumb but what If the I-Rex Is still alive? As it did get taken underwater by the mosasaurus, she could of used her claws to injure or even kill the mosasaurus and swam away (assuming it can swim cause of T-rex genes). Thus the I-Rex could be in refuge in perhaps another island or somewhere on nublar and has evaded the humans. This terrible theory of mine could also explain the mosasaurus being missing. Could it have been killed by the I-Rex? And will the I-Rex return in the future? Reply and let me know of your opinions everyone!!! Tyvm for your time. :)

First, it's been confirmed that there will be a mosasaur in the film and there will be 2 mosasaur attack scenes in the sequel. Second, there was some new merchandise of a submarine set with a mosasaur and some bones that come along. I believe those bones are from the irex. Third we might have the indoraptor so why have irex? It's possible we might see a FULL GROWN irex in JW3 possibly living in Sorna or site c.

Sorry, but T-Rexes can´t swim, and also, the JW Mosasaurus is a 70 meters long creature, a shitty claws won´t do shit to him, and we can assume that the Mosazilla didn´t use it´s entire biteforce to not kill or decapitate it´s prey and only have 1/3 of it´s dairy meal, it dragged Indy to the water to eat the animal entirely and not sharing with other carnivores, just like some species of actual Cocodrilians do, it wouldn´t be a surprise if the JW Mosazilla has Cocorilian DNA in it´s blood, that would explain it´s behavior-

1) there is actual evidence that the tyrannosaurus could swim.
2) those "Shitty claws" are most likely the claws of a therizinosaurus, which was the dinosaur who had the most dangerous claws in dinosaur recorded history.
1- Actually there´s no evidence that supports that the Tyrannosaurus could swim, because it wasn´t adapted and it didn´t knew how to do that, so nope.
2- Therizinosaurus claws IRL are like 50 times more dangerous than the claws of the Indominus, that can barely break a bulletproof glass against .357 bullets.
3:08 - it isn't the skeleton of the JP3 spino because the skeleton has only one head crust like the original spinosaurus . But the spino by In gen has two head crusts.

The skeleton in JW had the structure on the JP3 version (which we know is not that of an actual Spinosaurus), so the skeleton had to come from a dinosaur bred on Isla Nublar. So it's either the JP3 Spino or an another one that was on the island.

I think the amulgum testing is like some kind of weird testing on the spinosuarus's while thay where young with only one surviving the experiments and testing done on it and that's why the spinosuarus is so aggressive towards humans.

I believe it's alive and feeding on dinos and fish, roaming somewhere in the rivers of Isla Sorna. Looks too dangerous for Masrani to handle due to its high aggression, a super predator never to be tampered with.

What if ingen tried to controll the spino for military reasons. But failed for whatever reason then abandoned it because it was to dangerous to reclaim. And they had to go public because if they didn't and someone found it they would see ingens stuff because they had to leave in a rush. If you ask me it looked like a military training place. Except for features that would be needed to keep them "safe" from dinosaurs. Years later they heard someone tamed some dinosaurs (the raptors from Jurassic world) but didn't fully grasp the concept of pack hunters because they tried making a dino that would be basically a walking talk. That would explain why the main guy got surprised by blues betrayal towards him near the end of Jurassic world.

So chances are, and I'm not really a spino lover, but. from all the stuff that we've gotten from the DPG, and other media, I think we might see a spinosaurus for a breef scene in this movie. It has a nest somewhere and just like some predatory fish the male was the first line of defense and it was not the bad guy and the t-rex killed its mate/child and went into a state of grief and when it saw the rex just like ripper and the red dot it went insane.
So heres my theory Indie had been in the Restricted Area the Ankylosaur's were in. The Spinosaurus was in there and fought Indie and got away badly injured. Indie has some punctures in her chest. Since Indie has accelerated growth it might be able to heal quickly. Spinosaurus then encounters the Cerato and attempts to catch her but was quite quickly outran and the Galli Herd was swarming a nearby area making alot of commotion which attracts the Spinosaurus towards them, trying desperately to catch them. Also a name for the Spino could be Spike or Sally the Cerato could be called Alex or Sky since of its agility for a medium sized predator. There you have it 10 minutes of my time gone.
