Problem with the Spino dying to rexy, it’s already been shown he can take numerous bites from a rex, the battle won’t last 5 seconds so then rexy and the Spino would both die to the volcano ashes.
Given the appearance of the Spinosaur skeleton and the JP3 Spino, and the likelihood that Spinosaur was to appear again in the JW movies. I'm going on a hunch that the Spino we might have seen for Dominion likely wouldn't have been the same Spino look from JP3. Given how Dr. Wu was by JW and the later movies seemed more bent on having dinosaurs look closer to how they originally look and Bio-syn was attempting at least publically to have dinosaurs closer to the original appearance, I'm guessing a modern look of the Spino would have had it looking closer to later depictions of the Spino from our timeline giving further proof that the Jp3 spino was a proto hybrid.
JW3 spino is the same spino as in the animated show, and that mostly took place AFTER the first jurassic world movie. So that skeleton is not the one from JP3. And of course it would not be. They would likely use real dino bones and not hybrid monsters for the skeleton decorations of the park.
For the last goddam time, there is only 1 Spinosaurus in the franchise. He was in JP3 and in Camp Cretaceous. The skeleton for the last frekin time was NOT his. For God sake when will people understand? JP3 Spino and Camp Cretaceous are the EXACT same one?! Do you all just refuse to accept it?!
@@spider-man500 I never referred to the Spino skeleton as the JP Spino I was making the theory that a dominion JW Spino was likely to look different compared to the Spino from JP3 and Camp Cretacious and that the Spino was a proto-hybrid that was more accidental than actual proof of concept such as the scorpius rex. We know that as of Dominion various parties had access to InGen's biotech not to mention Biosyn so its likely someone had already created a new more natural looking Spino that is closer to how we understand how it looks in our reality. This would make logical sense as the technology and refinement of the cloning process likely was paving the way for more natural looking animals, and Wu made a big argument about that in JW. There's also the fact that as of JW we had more accurate skull and data of the Spino which the skeleton in JW reflected with physical differences that was not in the JP3 spino. So if there was a JW Spino down the line and it wasn't the JP3/Cretacious spino it likely would physically look different perhaps more natural looking.
Wait does that mean the Spino technically has crocodile DNA, because no dinosaur can just snap a trexs neck like he did, maybe purrasaurus or deinosuchus?
even tho jp3 has its problems with the story, i was always a fan of the spinosaurus. its a shame they never gave it screen time on the new JP movies. i think it would have been a huge moment for the fans.
That rating on rotten tomatoes for Jurassic Park 3 is really a crime. Sure the plot was not amazing and the runtime was short, but it really was full of amazing moments and great dinosaurs that forever remain in my memory, and the characters weren’t half bad, they were written much more realistically and memorably than half the cast of the Jurassic World movies.
I think that the spino was taken to Nublar but then taken by mantah corp to their island after the fall of jurassic world and before the eruption. The spino being missing from Nublar could’ve caused wheatley’s team and the dpg to believe it had died
if I remember correctly the spino was actually a parent that found its child dead by the search team not knowing its parent was right around the corner
I'm just glad it returned in the franchise but in camp cretaceous,we should have seen it at the end of Jurassic world dominion that would make the fight more memorable, also I hope we get to see the dinosaurs in Jurassic park that we never got to see ,like the metricanthosaurus, Herrerasaurus, proceratosaurus.
Fun Fact: Jurassic Park 2 released in theaters May 19th, 1997. My birthday is May 9th. I was 8 years old at that time, and my parents pulled me from school (Monday) to go see it for my birthday 🤭
When I saw JP3 at the age of 11 the idea of a carnivore bigger and badder than the T-Rex intrigued me and when it killed the T-Rex I though it was awesome. There’s always a bigger fish
I've come more and more to believe that there were 2 Spinosaurus' in JP3, the sheer amount of blood shown and the lack of injuries to the Spino in the rest of the movie make me think that one might have been killed there, possibly the skeleton was of the one hit by the plane and crippled/killed there while the other pursued the intruders who crippled it's companion, but there's another option there. My theory is that there was a second version of Spino that Wu created for Jurassic World, we already have different species with major variations in universe, so with the differences in the main street skeleton and the files from Doctor Wu, he may have created a version of it intended for Jurassic World
@@Someone-whos-stupid I was mainly viewing the lack of injuries to the Spinosaurus from it, that thing should be pretty badly injured from the planes impact there. Especially with the blood splatter in that scene

I Would have honestly liked to have seen the Dinosaurs go into more populated areas, even just as an end of the movie thing. Sure we got the scene with malta but their was not much damage or destruction caused by the dinosaurs being loose their. It would have been cool to see perhaps the T-Rex or the Spino loose in a populated city destroying cars and stuff and heck, maybe even getting the military or the police involved.
Once the military and police get involved it's over for the dinosaurs, however it would've been cool to see how prehistoric animals getting loose into today's ecosystem would impact both the positives and negatives, along with interactions with humans.
@Swrve if there’s gonna be a New Animated Dreamworks series , do you think Spinosaurus will return along with other rarely seen and new species in the JP / JW franchise ?
There are some who say there are two spinos in JP3. One got hit by the plane and dies or is severely injured. That's why the other spino is so aggressive in that movie.
Not having the Spinosaurus in Dominion cemented the fact that the people making the movie probably did not want anything to do with JP3 and that’s why he was never put in. Yeah he was considered for Fallen Kingdom but only so he could get killed off. It just goes to show you that no matter how many people love Spinosaurus, the people making the Jurassic franchise won’t ever think twice about bringing him back into films because of the fact that JP3 is a very disliked movie alone.
I think Jurassic Park 3 had a lot of tention just like the first one, that's what made it interesting. I think casting Chris Pratt was a mistake for the new trilogy since the movies had little tension and sense of danger.
I can’t believe that JP3 still is less popular than the most recent movies. They did that movie so dirty, it deserves to be 3rd or 4th best in my opinion
I'd like to see the spino come back, but in it's 'more accurate' form, because I think that would be pretty cool, and maybe it's made by another different company introduced in the movie, but I don't know
Also I saw a video a while ago with the spinosaurus on a piano singing "HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO ME, I MADE MY MISTAKES, I-" then it cuts to Rexy, Giga, Indominous Rex, and Indoraptor , and Indominous says "eh, he'll get over it." then Rexy says "at least he's a villain that didn't die onscreen." Then the others stare at him and Indoraptor is thinking "that's a good point." it ends.
I think the JP3 Spino, though feverously hated by t-rex fans, is a phenomenal character just like Rexy. The spino's backstory and dread-inducing hate for humans make her stand out compared to the more neutral rexy, something more akin to the human hunting raptors but possessing that unstoppable strength we see in 3. It was also fun to see them lean into it with camp cretacious, with the kid being warned something along the lines of "It reaaally hates humans" before being sent to tranq and tag the spino. I think both Rexy and the Spino have characters worth keeping around and that it isn't the "ONE OR THE OTHER" approach t-rex fans seem to take for some reason. Both are great characters with unique on-screen identities, Rexy having a role something more akin to the neutral/indifference of Godzilla whereas the Spino has a far more villainous sort of hate for the humans like the raptors. Would've really felt like a nice ending to the series if in dominion Rexy and Spino teamed up to take down the Giga as a sort of handshake between the generations, but it seems more likely Spino will end up being killed off-screen to win brownie points with disenfranchised t-rex fans.
No, I agree with you!! It would be great to see both Rexy and Spino!! Also fact that T. rex fans were mad about Spino killing bull T. rex and nearly Big Eatie. I mean for raptor fans I bet there were upset in the beginning that raptors were killed by Rexy. Until Rexy and blue teamed up so there’s no difference.
POV: you wanted to excite your fan base with an old fan favourite, just to replace it with a dinosaur that barely gets any screen time (Therizinosaurus)
Not sure what anyone else thinks, but if you go back to the history of the spino before it made it's appearance in the third Jurassic Park film, the animal was labeled as a mistake, or a misfire. A genetic hybrid like that will only go so far with competitors like BioSyn, not to mention the size of that thing. Like the indomnious rex, it's unpredictable, so I'd imagine it's either going to get killed off by other predators, or will go untouched and left to wander Isla Sorna. My gut reaction, if you stick to the film timeline is that it's still on Isla Sorna.
To be fair, I'd be pretty traumatized too if I was just trying to catch a meal for the day, and then some tiny little hairless apes hit me with a whole-ass plane
Would your hair colour be the same colour when you’re 80 compared to 20? No, it’s typically goes grey. The Spino grows older and loses it’s colour slightly
For me i hoped we had a reappearance of Spino in Dominion with Grant recognizing it from just its roar. But if im not mistaken we never get to see the old cast recognizing Rexy either, i mean she did leave her mark on Dr Malcolm for sure ;) , that was another way of really connecting Park and World.
5:00 No, that list did NOT show extinct species, just endangered or abused ones, the creator Jack Anthony Ewins already clarified that misconception. How is this still being spread around? Are you not aware of this already? And yeah, Dominion was one big disaster filled with mistake after mistake after mistake... and don't even get me started on how badly they messed up Camp Cretaceous! This franchise is dead to me. Only Jurassic Park and The Lost World (and maybe Fallen Kingdom to some degree) are canon from here on!

@@Jpz-4-5
In my head canon, the “Masrani Variant” Spinosaurus were less aggressive than Sorna Variant.
They would likely use real dino bones and not hybrid monsters for the skeleton decorations of the park.
scorpius Rex is the first hybrid ever created by dr wu which it takes place after jp3 but before JW and dr wu is the only one that creates dinosaurs
That dimetrodon sail in the water scene was such a tease...
I knew Dimetrodon was in the movie, but that sail got me for a split second! Then I realised the cave is way too small for Spino

Never believe rotten tomatoes pathetic "critics"
Great video going over what happened to the spinosaurus after jp3.

I think that the spino was taken to Nublar but then taken by mantah corp to their island after the fall of jurassic world and before the eruption. The spino being missing from Nublar could’ve caused wheatley’s team and the dpg to believe it had died
I liked JP3 i think it got a bad reception because they had the Spino take out the Trex with ez.
if I remember correctly the spino was actually a parent that found its child dead by the search team not knowing its parent was right around the corner
No, that’s not the lore😅

There's a theory that Nash and Udesky killed the spinos offspring, and or mate, and that's why it chases them.
Quick answer : did you see the spino's skeleton in jurassic world 2015, that rexy broke it in the rexy vs indominus rex
Spinosaurus is one of my favourite dinosaur that ever lived
Fun Fact:
Jurassic Park 2 released in theaters May 19th, 1997.
So many people want the spinosaurus to come back to Jurassic Park
hope we see a spinosaurus on the big screen soon.
Ik why he canceled because alot of youtubers and peaple was spoiling the movie and spino was one of the spoilers
My theory is that there was a second version of Spino that Wu created for Jurassic World, we already have different species with major variations in universe, so with the differences in the main street skeleton and the files from Doctor Wu, he may have created a version of it intended for Jurassic World
Sorry dude. It's so obvious that there is only 1.
@@spider-man500 yea lol the directors litterally said it was bad cgi
Just because the plane hit the spinosaurus fin doesn’t mean it died from that
@@Someone-whos-stupid I was mainly viewing the lack of injuries to the Spinosaurus from it, that thing should be pretty badly injured from the planes impact there. Especially with the blood splatter in that scene
@@AzraelThanatoswell the Spino is shown to be highly durable, and that plane skimmed his dorsal sail, so it wouldn’t do much damage
I Will Hate Colin Trevorrow Forever for Not adding Spinosauras in the Last Jurassic Park Film
I will too
If the spino had a remodel to be accurate to fit dominions accurate theme then it would loose to hilariously easily to Rexy
@Listen, I know I sound gay, but… yeah it’s really cool
As paleontologist Dr. Dave Hone said, "who would win" is the most boring question you could ask about dinosaurs.
Well the Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park III is the same one in Camp Cretaceous and it's still alive in Mantah Corps Island being taken care of by Ben & Mae.
Makes sense
There not the same

The Spinosaur out for a Brisk stroll down the Block.
Just imagine the spino actually is still alive and lurking like a phantom/myth. Forever watching....waiting.
I much prefer the idea that there was only ever one Spinosaurus. Makes him so much more unique and a real enigma. Something eerie about this one off creation. My favourite in the franchise by far.
Spino retired. Chilling at the Isle of Wight with a cuppa, like a true Brit.
But was the Spino a “Spiffing Earth Rotation today my good man” or a “Nah Bruv, don’t chat to no man when sipping the tea yeah”

1:11 his eye is such a rich green, and it's exspression is cute
Fun fact: the Spinosaurus skeleton showed on the Camp cretaceous computer is the same skeleton as the one on main street in jurassic world,
While it wasnt as tall as the spino in jp3 or jwccS5 it was believed to be a juvenile
no they literally said its the same one
I really wish we got to see the spino again simply so we could see Alan grant reacting to seeing the dinosaurs that terrorised him on Sorna again
Honestly, they’ve kept the spino as clearly stronger than the Rex this whole time. The second fight in camp Cretaceous took 2 Rexes to really beat it, 1 wasn’t enough. They could’ve done our boy dirty and caved to all those who hate it, but they didn’t.
That second fight doesn’t count then since it was 2v1 😭
@@arsenalmike1835 I do sort of appreciate keeping the spino between power level of 1 and 2 rexes tbh. It shouldn’t be an op nightmare, it’s still an animal.
I think that just the thought of having the jp3 spino in dominion was the biggest thing that got me excited for the movie with Alan coming back especially when they basically teased it every chance they had and I also think it could of been a cool way to show how powerful the giga is people would of been a lot more pleased with the movie but someone tried to edit to much an play save and so you end up with a confusing mess
Technically Everyone is saying they wished spino appeared in dominion And I kinda wanted him to have him appear as a final boss villain where he kills the giga brutally just like how he did in JP3 before he takes on rexy

I hope we see spino again in new movies i hope it didnt die offscreen btw did you change the title for this video?
That would’ve been so cool in fallen kingdom
I wish it was in Jurassic World:Dominion
“After he was caught LACkin” has me rolling.
There are some who say there are two spinos in JP3. One got hit by the plane and dies or is severely injured. That's why the other spino is so aggressive in that movie.
Spino needs a movie about it for it's POV during it's missing time.
No jo2 is more disliked
It would’ve been so good to seen the spino in dominion because I feel like Alan’s reaction would be amazing
Wasn’t really fair spino was winning the 2nd battle till the other one showed up and teamed up on him
I think Jurassic Park 3 had a lot of tention just like the first one, that's what made it interesting. I think casting Chris Pratt was a mistake for the new trilogy since the movies had little tension and sense of danger.
i feel like the spino in paddock 10 either died very early on in the existence of the Jurassic world theme park or died prior to jw2
I would've loved to see the Spino in Dominion bc its my favorite dinosaur
It's just called "Spinosaurus after not being in Jurassic World: Dominion" if you want to check it out
Hi swrve just wanna let you know how much I appreciate you!
Thanks!£
POV: you wanted to excite your fan base with an old fan favourite, just to replace it with a dinosaur that barely gets any screen time (Therizinosaurus)
this spinosaurus was that huge, and that much of a menace at 2 years old
That's good that mean spino can still make a on screen appearance hopefully a live one.
Imagine if Spino was in dominion, he sees Alan Grant he is like “YOU!”
Considering spino is one of my favorite dinos, I'm pretty disappointed we don't get to see much of it
Not sure what anyone else thinks, but if you go back to the history of the spino before it made it's appearance in the third Jurassic Park film, the animal was labeled as a mistake, or a misfire.
He suffered from an on-set injury with multiple herniated discs, and there were reshoots to cover his brief Cameo
The spinosaurus on manta Island is not the same color as the one in Jurassic Park three,so how is that the one from Isla Sorna?
Probably a different individual,or the Color of Spino wears down due to its age.
Nah its the transition between animated and real-scale animatronics/CGI😊
@@trigz8626 but the spino in the show is a light purple and the isla sorna spino is a red,ish and blue, ish color look for a comparison of the 2
Would your hair colour be the same colour when you’re 80 compared to 20? No, it’s typically goes grey. The Spino grows older and loses it’s colour slightly
Yooo awesome thumbnail
The thumbnail looks great
For me i hoped we had a reappearance of Spino in Dominion with Grant recognizing it from just its roar.
I was born in 2000 so I would’ve been alive before Jurassic Park three came out ❤
