@@halab__k3451- Yeah, there are even debunk videos on this series. I am not knowledgeable enough on AI to tell you either way - but I enjoy these videos anyways and I am not even a Tomb Raider player. I only heard of this when I was looking up the Tomb Raider GBA homebrew port.

If it's like the rumors say that the voice lines are not AI but written by FoxMaster, you can't deny that this guy knows how to read Lara's character better than the writers of the Legend trilogy (I love Legend Lara but they wrote her for be a little dramatic lol) and the Survivor trilogy.
I'm loving this iteration of Lara as a refined but sassy British woman who has confidence (sometimes too much lmao) and a slightly strange sense of humor.
But he has shown an example of how he puts inputs into the chatgpt to have it respond as Lara :/
What rumors say is that there's no AI playing this game but FoxMaster and there are proofs in another channel XD, this voice lines probably are written by chatGPT

So much great stuff in this one! Love the more immersed Lara, and the recovery after falling from the balcony *chef's kiss*. Underwater commentary and liberal medipack use too. Feels more cinematic and I'm all for it :D

0:36 Just like those bats in the first level of the first game, AI Lara is too quick to assume the dogs are loveable, innocent creatures to cuddle with.
When I first played this level back in 1996, I didn't realize you could save anytime you wanted, so I had to do it all in one go; over and over and over. The change from the save diamonds in TR1 to the "save whenever" really messed me up. TR2 got a lot easier when I didn't have to wait to the end of a level to save. :-)

For a popular place like Venice, I am surprised there are no people around. I guess they stay clear from a mafia-controlled area. It'll be a good way to explain away the limitations.
According to the wiki it's and old part of Venice that was abandonned, that explains why the Opera House is broken 🤗 (not sure about the sources)

I'll never look at the Tomb Raider series the same way again.
In the original, retail version of the game, probably the unpatched CD version, when lara doesn't hear the clocktower bell at the end, the timer doesn't go down. This means, one can simply go underwater and swim all the way to the exit with the clocktower not even ringing once. It's a little known bug, but I found it back in the day and since I was really bad at the game, I just kind of abused it like that.
Yes, you must exit by the door instead of the big opening to avoid the trigger ^^

I mostly remember the areas being bigger & less linear, but a lot of the movement being a lot more complicated. The Last Revelation was the one where I gave up fairly quickly because I couldn't work out a puzzle.

I actually thought for a while that Lara was going to accidentally play the 'Complete Venice Without Getting in a Boat' variation. Wonder if she'll complete the Tibetan Foothills without getting in a skidoo...
Her jokes are getting better, and she is making more complex descriptions every time. Impressive! And... she performs some impossible jumps, like making a curve on the air! I would never accomplish those jumps when playing the game.
if that truly was an AI playthrough, it demonstrated some stunning capabilities, such as recognizing the boat lock and formulating complex plans involving it, getting in a boat and so quickly figuring out its limitations and formulating a control strategy to drive it...
When she brings up the watch it means the AI is totally lost and will get a hint what to do next by FoxMaster and I think the base ability to drive is already baked in.
So it's not totally figuring things out on it's own if it is an AI and not just an entertainment project pretending to be AI.

There are two common versions, this Y shape one and an I shaped one.
The I shaped one is were the name comes from.
They are quite dangerous since you can touch bare electrified metal easily.

Just a consideration for improving this series, if you might also switch to other games:
The video buffer contains the images rendered right. Could you implement that you modify that buffered image brightness and other characteristics you need for analysis for the AI in for example another buffer so that the original ingame image stays unmodified?
Yes this will create either an additional rendering step, which will be not printed out to the screen or in worst case create two video buffers, which will result rendering the game two times.
It needs an additional step, so making it live will be problematic, maybe if you launch 2 games at the same time with the same input, one recording with basic settings and the second for the improved 🤗 Or add an effect over the game depending of the light, but it depends of the game 🤔
Do you really need to start the game two times? I thought more like keeping the original settings and just take the frame and apply the brightness onto this frame yourself. To get the current frame you could try "f--f--m--p--e--g" and it's "s--c--r--e--e--n--g--r--a--b--b--e--r A--P--I" or use the "B--a--s--l--e--r F--r--a--m--e--g--r--a--b--b--e--r S--D--K", look into the "F--r--a--m--e--g--r--a--b--b--e--r A--P--I" and there look into the "Third Party Interfaces" like "N--V--I--D--I--A G--P--U--D---i--r--e--c--t for Video" which support O--p--e--n--G--L and N--V--I--D--I--A C--U--D--A. You Just need the individual frame, which can be exported as J--P--G or P--N--G (but might not be required, if you hold it in a variable). For applying effects like brightness, you could then use "G--I--M--P 2.x" and look into the "Developer A--P--I References". In the "Reference for G--I--M--P 2.0 A--P--I" there are a lot of libraries with functions/methods to modify images. Just try out in the Apps, S--D--Ks and Frameworks what you want to achieve in the simplest way possible and then look up the corresponding A--P--I functions/methods which work with your coding language, like P--y--t--h--o--n, J--a--v--a, C--#, C--+--+ etc. This should work, not live or live, if you only use the A--P--Is.

When it press the camera button it limits the speed of the boat, allowing detections around, the other update was offscreen 🤗
