I use the pixel wireless shutter release. Just make sure you get the right cable for your camera.

What do you use the cross bag for?

I keep my shoot through umbrella in it as well as spare batteries. Just handy to have it on me if I'm in another part of the house. I've had to do a battery swap and have to run all the way down stairs to get my camera case. Just saves me time on site.
