The four-year Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme is organized into eight semesters. The final semester is devoted exclusively to a research project. The following major disciplines are available in the Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme:
Biology
Chemistry
Earth & Environmental Science
Materials
Mathematics
Physics
Eligibility for Admission at IISc Bangalore:
(a) Candidates who have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination in 2021 and also those who are expecting to complete their 10+2 (or equivalent)examination in 2022.
(b) The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in their qualifying exam along with any other subjects.
(c) The candidates must have secured a first-class or 60% or equivalent grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or equivalent)
Selection will be based on the merit list of one of the following national examinations.
1. JEE Main -2022
2. JEE Advance-2022
3. NEET(UG)-2022
Application Forms (available only online):
The online application may be prepared and submitted by accessing the IISc Admission website during 01 April 2022 to 31 May 2022. The application fee is Rs. 500/- for GN/OBC/KM candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/PWD categories.

i request all the general candidates instead of taking huge pressure to get in IISC you can try for harvard, stanford, MIT, Cambridge etc. There you can get easy addmission. Also you are able to meet students according your level of excellence. these institutes are much valuable than so called iisc. NO OFFEND TO ANYONE but fact is fact and no one can deny it.
Bhai bolne se pahle soch toh lo many general are middle class they can't afford going in any Indian college without bank loan and you are suggesting for going abroad. It has a tuff process plus money that is going to be spend is around 1cr atleast

you are right bro i am also middle class but when you are able to score under 500 rank in such big exam then any indian bank gives you loan. secondly when a bank employee heard that you are going abrod in such prestigious university they will give you very easy loan. Thirdly in such prestiogious collages almost 60% student get some kin of finance AID. bro nobody wants to leave his country but hamari country me etna reservation hai it is very difficult to survive general caste people in education. 4:29 "Materials" and "Earth & Environmental Science" are not taught in the first three semesters. One can major in them 4th semester onwards but it is not taught before that. The six subjects for first 3 semesters in IISc Bangalore are :-
(1) Physics
(2) Chemistry
(3) Mathematics
(4) Biology
(5) Engineering
(6) Humanities

Whats cutoff for getting into iisc btecb Mathematics n computing. I think something is wrong JEE mains rank was fine but advance rank is still confusing since it is same as jeemains and also very less cutoff for category student for which he cant even qualify jee advance with 50000 rank so how he can take MnC branch.
The data shown is from the official website of iisc counselling of 2022. Regarding the btech branches.. It was started last year so i couldn't get the data.
