Like many IITs , do iisc Bengaluru also provides a scholarship in the form of institute assistantship for the PhD scholars who got through interview at IISC based on top 10 NIRF and excellent academic performance but doesn't have a valid GATE score or NET/JRF nor any funding from agencies?
Damn yrr......❤❤ Thanks for the detailed video on iisc. Can you tell me how you joined iisc after 12th? Like have you given jee or any other exam and rank also.😅
I goofed around and used to speak english as a kid when I would talk to myself (maybe that helped, maybe that didn't). I think your language skills are a function of the kind of media you consume: the books you read, the movies & shows you watch, the songs you listen to, etc. My tip would just be go deep dive and fun with it: goof around, talk in English with yourself (if you wanna learn the language, otherwise I don't see a point in it, also on a side note, talking to yourself can really help figure your own thoughts out and enjoy your company but if you do it in front of people they will think you are mad, so don't lol), with your friends, family, etc and don't be afraid to make a fool out yourself (because you will and that's ok). Leaving your ego out of the main door is the first step to learning. Finally, looking back I don't really know when and how English became my first language but it just happened and this is the only explanation I can think of in hindsight, cheers!
Bro i have a question that if we do BS form iisc, after graduating we can do direct MS and PHD from iisc or we have to write exam NET or JRF. because during phd we get stipend around 30k will will be enough somehow and we should not worry about placement. and we also have many option doing intern and many thing. My family condtion is not good but i am interested to research. Please guide me.
You can do direct MS for 1 year without writing any exams. Now, If you have an 8+ CGPA, you can directly sit for a Ph.D. interview. You don't need to write NET/GATE etc. If you have a CGPA of less than 8, you need to write one of the exams and get enough rank.

So if I maintain decent 8.5 CGPA during my courses & am very much passionate about CSE & learn the skill can I get internship in Tech companies ? During summers & winters ? Or I’ll get internship only at stream I am pursuing plzz tell ?
Bhai tujhe CSE karke placements hee karni gai to JEE de na, NIT, IIT wagera ja. Why are you wasting a seat which could have been used by someone who was truly passionate about research
@@WhyBhanshu please make a detailed video on the total expenditure vs the amount of scolarship given is the scolarship sufficient to survive at IISc and is it guaranteed that whoever joins the programme will get scolarship....
When I was studying, it was Rs 15,200 yearly as academic fees and hostel & mess were on top of it (I think 5kish per month, could be wrong double check) and the stipend was 80k yearly
“Chance” is a very umbrella term, there’s definitely chance and infact there are graduates from IISc UG who are at these places now. Though it’s worth mentioning it is a rare event (as with any other premiere institute)
It is not very difficult to get into an MS program at Harvard (MIT doesn't have MS programs in fields that I personally kept track of). It's much rare to get into Ph.D. programs (which are more competitive than MS programs) in the above universities. And even considering that IISc probably has the highest percentage of students going for Ph.D. in top American universities compared to any other Indian universities
Please don't draw extreme conclusions. IISc can never be a loss. Also, you don't need an IITM data science course to get a good job (which is what I am assuming the context of this message is) there are more than plenty of resources in IISc that will help you be better prepared (or equipped) to get that good job. My point was only that you will have to do that on top of your regular course load (I did not want the masses to have the wrong perception and you drawing this conclusion goes against the very spirit of the video).
you single handedly took this conversation and it was extremely informative in all states, specifically about the cons no one likes to discuss, also congratulations for getting into IIMB. Could you suggest something if one gets BSMS from IISER, will it be somewhat equivalent to the degree at IISc, coz both aim for research only, and particularly research would't put food on your tables 'soon'. No disrespect but a genuine question, please answer. Thankyou!

Bro is there any chance of getting into MIT and Harvard for masters after ug from IISC?
“Chance” is a very umbrella term, there’s definitely chance and infact there are graduates from IISc UG who are at these places now. Though it’s worth mentioning it is a rare event (as with any other premiere institute)
It is not very difficult to get into an MS program at Harvard (MIT doesn't have MS programs in fields that I personally kept track of). It's much rare to get into Ph.D. programs (which are more competitive than MS programs) in the above universities.
And even considering that IISc probably has the highest percentage of students going for Ph.D. in top American universities compared to any other Indian universities
i mean should i pursue my bsc physics in IISC along with IITM online data sci course or IISC is just a loss
Can we change our stream from bsc to btech if you do good in first year?can somebody tell it if any knowledge
I don’t think so, recent graduates/students will be in a better position to comment
you single handedly took this conversation and it was extremely informative in all states, specifically about the cons no one likes to discuss, also congratulations for getting into IIMB. Could you suggest something if one gets BSMS from IISER, will it be somewhat equivalent to the degree at IISc, coz both aim for research only, and particularly research would't put food on your tables 'soon'. No disrespect but a genuine question, please answer. Thankyou!
Yes, it is equivalent to IISc. IISc's main focus isn't even undergrad, but IISERs' is.
Does iisc provide entrepreneurship? Is there any entrepreneur from iisc?
