What's the placement scenario there? More than 50% of students are either unemployed or underemployed. Best students enter there to come our as mediocres. Please don't preach sermons without understanding the reality.😅

You can go for bs-ms in physics. There are quite a few govt. institutes I can suggest: 1. IISc 2.Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (There are 7 IISERs) 3. Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) 4. National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) 5. UM-DAE CEBS (Both CEBS and NISER are run by Department of Atomic Energy) 6. Indian Association for Cultivation of Sciences (IACS) All of them are reputed research Institutes in the country.
How is the future prospect after the age of 30+? I completed MCA degree in the year 2018 under IGNOU. Even appeared for jeca. But i was not selected for any government aided colleges due to my ranking . And the couse fees in any those private engeneering college was indeed too exorbitant for me to pay. So i had to enroll myself under IGNOU University . And now employed under a startup company. Besides employing under a startup company as a developer, i prepared myself for different government exams like CGL , wbcs etc . But I want to pursue m.tech from an reputed iit or nit after qualifying gate exams. Under this age bracket should I stop dreaming to pursue m.tech for my future career growth from any top-notch iits ??
IISc and its soul is now dead, thats why they will never break into top 50 or 100 universities of the world. Research labs are divided by different grouos, one faculty group owning one lab will not let other lab people to use their labs by faalse 'down' status of devices. They dont know the power of collaboration. Save my words, they are good inside India only, now they dont have quality of getting Noble price at all, their internal politics will doom it.
