Thank you, Bob. The alternate, the 8v DCF682, was a tad underpowered for cabinetry. Brand-wise an excellent choice. Festool and Milwaukee offer bulkier screwdrivers. The DCF601 is one of my favorite 12v tools.

@@robertfrate9738 We have a DCF887 and it tends to overheat quickly. The older DCF885 is way better. 601 is a solid tool.

@@Itstartedwithsawdust dewalt just introduced the dcf850, the demonstration is awesome for me it’s extremely compact and very powerful, and the dcf921 I’m interested in, I like the dcf601, I tried the dcf887 and like you said it gets hot, I’ve seen very negative reviews on it, ty for your reply,

That's worth for another epic video. According to the money/value ratio, I would pick the 601. Unless you ain't have any 12v batteries and some serious torque is not requited.
