I wonder why is so called “development” always shown in Tall buildings or structures and it’s lighting only? Why is it not shown in terms of Agricultural growth. Better life for farmers, cleaner water, free healthcare?! Otherwise it’s just development of a few rich people. Not the entire country. This is quite eveident in the fact that India has some of the richest people in the world and is pretty much the 3rd largest economy but millions of people have struggles with day to day life.

Indian govt should invest more in Rural side because slums can only be reduced by developing rural India to smart villages. Develop the infrastructure of villages by giving them proper education, increasing employment opportunities in the villages, providing good health care facilities. Because of better employment opportunities in the urban areas, people from rural areas are migrating to urban areas which increases slums in the country. Give more employment to beautify the country. Govt should balance their focus on both rural and urban areas.
Yes that's the great idea to eradicate the slums and to develop our rural India where it has the maximum potentials for the overall development of the country. It will stop migration, create opportunities and improve the living style of rural people too.

stop blaming the british. many parts of the world were colonized for a long time. especially southeast asia like indonesia. japan, south korea, germany were affected with war in 1950s and look where they are today. seriously stop blaming british for where we are today. if anything they gave india a lot of things like the english language, railways. india in the 1960s had same gdp as china. even bangladesh and pakistan were higher than most southeast asian countries.

Indian govt should invest more in Rural side because slums can only be reduced by developing rural India to smart villages. Develop the infrastructure of villages by giving them proper education, increasing employment opportunities in the villages, providing good health care facilities. Because of better employment opportunities in the urban areas, people from rural areas are migrating to urban areas which increases slums in the country.
Give more employment to beautify the country.
Govt should balance their focus on both rural and urban areas.
Yes that's the great idea to eradicate the slums and to develop our rural India where it has the maximum potentials for the overall development of the country. It will stop migration, create opportunities and improve the living style of rural people too.
