Would the bonus from Demon Shot have been enough to get it to 7 hits? Or is its bonus applied as +0.1 to the existing sharpness multiplier instead of as a seperate 1.1x multiplier?
are you sure the hits at about 4:00 and 6:15 counted as hitting the face (80) and not the head (50) or even the neck (30)? even the blood effect is in a different place than on the other hits.
+Andi Volkano According to how my movement slowed down, I'm pretty positive I hit the 80 weakpoint. But I cant tell you for sure. Besides at 4:00, his horn should belong to Fatalis' face.
+Andi Volkano I mean, there's also rumors that it makes a difference whether you hit with the peak or the lower part of your edge in terms of damage. I think there's only a few people, who could verify our calculation. However, all I can say is that Michi and I tried our best with research here^^

I would love a skill that turns defense buffs into attack buffs. God damn... Could call it 'Offensive' or something. I think it would be a cool skill and would change gameplay a lot. Or a skill that gives a chance of deflecting attacks back at the monster when hit. That would be cool af.

Lmfao right? I needed to do fatalis for his GS and I solo'd the high rank one I'm 20 minutes with the crimson fatalis hbg (best one without limiter) and it took me 20 minutes and I was just like "there's no way I can possibly solo g rank fatty"
Damn i really need to get back on using great swords ive been using the slash axe (switch axe) for way longer than bow and great sword good thing i never sold that maxed out fetalis stygian zinogre and barioth Great swords ;)
mounting does do damage to the monster. and even if it didn't you'd have to do the jump hits and they do damage. You can see the mounting damage sometimes if you mount a monster that is on low hp and then you go kick it after you might kill it with a kick because while mounting does damage it cannot kill monsters so the monster is left with 1 hp.
well to be honest, I've only heard of it myself. and from hunting with the GS numerous times it always looks and feels like my hangup time striking the monster and it's weak-points is shorter and weaker hitting with the tip of my sword. but thats no reliable clause so i can't really back it up too well.

Funny how a G-rank Fatalis takes less hits to kill then a G-rank Savage Deviljho-that would mean savage deviljho has more hp then an ELDER DRAGON-also, those sleep shots count as hits too, right?
+Linkziken They still technically should count as hits though. Zero damage hits true but you need them for this strategy to succeed so nothing amazing here. Still really nicely thought out and executed strategy.
+Wojciech Oleksów "how many hits can fatalis take" is not "How many hits does it need to kill fatalis". Technically: he can take 8 hits. That is the point. The setup doesn't matter in that case, only the damaging hits.

Yes, they use the Ballista Binder on it. It buys the gunners some time so they can make more Sleep shots.
I failed maybe 15 times in the last days with different groups, and then I see this and ask myself how it is possible to fail against him 😂
I think the (sharpness (if I'm right)) multipliers from hitting with the center of the blade and from charged hit are missing

+MH•Draen way more than 20 imo. Cuz no 2x multiplicator. Besides, Gog has some insane amount of HP and there's no weakpoint close to 80^^
Also technically you would also need to counti in every hit with the ig that is mounting it because that does damage too
+Otsisossi I'm pretty sure mounting does zero damage to the overall hp, but does damage the back's individual part hp.
mounting does do damage to the monster. and even if it didn't you'd have to do the jump hits and they do damage. You can see the mounting damage sometimes if you mount a monster that is on low hp and then you go kick it after you might kill it with a kick because while mounting does damage it cannot kill monsters so the monster is left with 1 hp.

Pretty sure you deal more damage to a sleeping monster though. That's why we bomb them while they're asleep.

Actually Fatalis Dies faster because its head is a much bigger weakpoint than any weakpoint deviljho has.
